When I exported my video (all stills), the images are all over the place. I had adjusted the postition (X & Y) for each one, and when I exported the video, the stills are not staying in one place, but are coming from different angles and different positions. How can I fix it so that when exported, it plays as it does on my Viewer?

First, I'd try deleting all render files in both the associated Events and Projects (File menu). Do not render before exporting.
"Preference Manager" is a free download from Digital Rebellion (dot com) you can delete the FCP X pref files quickly, easily, safely. Try that next.

After numerous Exports and Imports... My images are all over the place on my Hard Drives. Is there a way I centralize them and have Lr4 move them into a central place so I don't need to hunt them down all the time?

My fonts are all over the place, how do I get them back?

Recently some of pages I view in Firefox have the text scattered all over the place and makes them impossible to understand. How do I get them back to normal? You can check for corrupted and duplicate fonts and other font issues:

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

How do I consolidate my photos – they're all over the place

I'm about to replace my iMac and I want to put all my photos in a single location once and for all (and then back them up of course). Currently the photos are scattered across the three account holders on my old Mac and also on an external hard drive. There is very probably quite a bit of overlap among all these storage areas and there will also be pictures that are mutually exclusive to each repository. Organisation is not my strong suit but you probably figured that.
I should perhaps add that the new iMac belongs to my employer to enable me to work from home, so my own Mac is just going into storage indefinitely. So I'm also open to any solution that involves putting all my photos on the old Mac.

I have clip everywhere. It is horrible. I can't even tell what I have. iMovie can't access video not in the "library" which is iPhoto but iPhoto won't accept my earlier video... ie quicktime.mov. What in the world can I do to get ALL my video clips in one place sorted by year, viewable and accessible to iMovie?

Please go to <http://www.peterdanko.com/errr.png> and see the screen shot of the page I am having difficulty with in the design view. Note the links: INSTALLATIONS, BELT COLORS, FINISHING, PRICING are neatly centered with the text body above and in a single line.
Now view <http://www.peterdanko.com/atmos.html> Note they are now stacked and randomly placed. In different browsers they are all over the place.
How can I keep them neat and tidy in all browsers?

Below is the complete html code/css re-written for the 'product-wrapper' section. (scroll down). Not sure if this is of help or not. I think you need to take some time to learn some more html/css as the way youre going about it at the moment must be a complete nightmare for you. Copy the code below, (scroll down) paste into a new Dreamweaver document and save to your site folder. View in browser.
You need to simplify your way of working instead of creating a <div> for each of your page elements, which must be a headache to keep track of???
Example: Instead of putting your header 'Atmos Seating Group' in it's own individual <div> use a more meaningfull html tag like a header tag, <h2>Atmos Seating Group</h2>
Then use some css to target the <h2>. We know the <h2> tag is in the 'right_tx_bx_400pxWd' <div> so write it as below:

Get the point. We only have to keep track of one <div> not several and we can target tags in that <div> more cleanly and effectively.
Try and keep all off your css together i.e. so all the 'right_tx_bx_400pxWd' css is kept together so its easy to find in the stylesheet intead of scrolling up and down.
Don't use heights on <divs> unless you know how high it will be and you won't know that unless it just contains images or you set a specific height for a scroll bar.

iTunes will only transfer purchases back to your computer using the iTunes > File > Transfer purchases from XXX's iPhone. It will not transfer playlists or non-purchased songs.

They open in Preview by default.
However, if you open Picture Folder in Preview, navigate to any photo ( without opening it ) then right click on the photo and select Get Info from the dropdown menu.
About 2/3rds' of the way down on the Get Info tab you'll see a Marker ' Open WIth '. Enter whichever editing program you're using.
Whenever you open a photo from whatever it's location it will open in the chosen editing program.

When I am working in Organizer 12, My cursor jumps all over the place and the screen keeps repositioning itself. It is infurating and I can't get any work done. New desktop iMac using Marevick 10.9.1 and wireless mouse and track pad both slowed to lowest level. Also tried using a tethered mouse but no different. Anyone else have this problem. Is it an Apple problem?

Is it a 'Magic Mouse'? If so that's why, there are many reports that it is badly behaved in the Elements Organizer. If not, do you have another mouse you could try it with (to rule out a hardware problem)?

You're going to have to describe your network configuration in rather more detail, and start segmenting the problem space into smaller hunks.
If your network is larger or externally managed or otherwise outside your bailiwick, go talk to your local networking group. It's quite easy to have a subnet router instantiate or a vLAN change made and have the results block the mDNS traffic. mDNS traffic doesn't typically pass across subnets; across IP routers. It's also feasible for a firewall to block mDNS traffic. And managed switches can also get involved here, even if you're not running vLANs.
It's distinctly possible there's also some sort of a local problem, but if multiple or all computers everywhere here stop showing mDNS, start looking for the commonality; for the common factor(s).
mDNS is also variously known as Zeroconf and Bonjour.

When I transferred the info from an old ipod, broken, to a new one the contacts I received were from all over the place, many whom I did not even know. Can I only restore from the last sync or can I go back further to get my old contacts?

I recently had to replace my ipod touch. The old one had a broken button and would not change the screen correctly. Apple gave me a new ipod and told me all I needed to do was update the new ipod from the itunes which I had backed up prior to getting the new one. When I did the sync , the info for my contacts was giving me names and addresses from all over the place except the itunes. Can I retrieve info from a previous sync or only to the last sync that was made?

Yes I did. When installing the new ipod it had to update the software, then it sync'ed the information onto the new ipod. The contacts were not the original ones, and all the phone numbers have dissappeared. Is there any way to recover them?
