HT4098 I was automatically renewed for a subscription, and didn't realize this until I got the notice.  I want the bill reversed from my account.  How do I do that?

I was automatically renewed for a subscription, and I didn't realize it until I got the renewal message.  How do I get this charge reversed.  It was renewed yesterday!

    Assuming you have Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks, restart and hold the Command and R keys.  When the reboot has completed, click Utilities on the menu bar if the utilities window has not automatically opened.  Click Terminal.  When the Terminal window has opened, type exactly the following:
    resetpassword
    and press Enter.
    When the Reset Password Window opens, select the internal storage, the user, and type a new password twice.  Do not enter a hint.  Click Save.
    Accept the next window that opens, and back at the Reset Password window click the lower right button to accept the reset of the user's home directory permissions.
    Click the apple left side of the menu bar, Restart and you will now have a new password.

    To turn off Auto-Renew for iTunes Match from a computer
    Open the latest version of iTunes.
    Choose Store > Sign In.
    Enter your Apple ID and password and click Sign In.
    Choose Store > View My Account. You may be asked to re-enter your Apple ID password.
    In the "iTunes in the Cloud" section, click Turn Off Auto-Renew to the right of iTunes Match.
    To turn off Auto-Renew for iTunes Match from an iOS device using iOS 7.1 or later
    Choose Settings > iTunes & App Stores.
    If you're not already signed in with your Apple ID, tap the Apple ID field, enter your username and password, and tap >Done on the onscreen keyboard.
    Tap your Apple ID name and choose View Apple ID.
    From the Account Settings page, scroll down to the iTunes in the Cloud section, and tap the Toggle so that it slides to the left

    Are you sure you can't cancel it within the app itself or thru it's preferences in Settings?

    I subscribed to star maker last aug 26 and it should only be good for a week. Today i received an email stating that I was charged again for the automatic renewal. It never stated that it will be renewed automatically during my initial subscription. I would greatly appreciate if someone can help me to cancel the subscription.

    Not really.  These forums are use primary for customers to help other customers.  Verizon moderators watch the forums and will escalate issues to the elite support team for issues that appear to need such help.  Your issue may be escalated, or it may not.  if it is escalated, be sure to come back here to read what they post and then follow their instructions.
    II'm not aware of any official process Verizon has to file complaints.  They are setup to have customer service reps resolve issues.  If you just want to rant, consider that done.  If you want Verizon to fix your issue, keep working with them, especially if they escalate your issue.  You can also file complaints with the appropriate regulatory authorities, if you think that Verizon isn't following government regulation.

    Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.
