My 'clear history button is not working. When I click on it it doesn't do anything and the letters are gray instead of blue like usual. I've gone to every type of settings I can think of but I don't know how to fix it. Please help .

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device. -
I preordered a album then preordered the Same one and I don't know how to cancel the one I preordered that I didn't mean too and it's charging me for both and I don't have a lot of money on my iTunes
Go to the iTunes Store. Click on your Apple ID and enter your password. Scroll down towards the end of the page, you should see a line item that says Pre-Order. You can cancel the pre-order there.

The program was installed on Friday morning though it didn't happen fast and I forgot and left the computer running when I went to work. This happened to be the day that my internet connection was cutoff because I was switching from cnet to Qwest as my ISP. (Still don't know why they did this, but Qwest helped me reset the modem and I can use Internet explorer.)
Why won't Firefox open? It must think it is open.You probably have other problems but for a start right click on your task bar and click on Start Task Manager. In "Applications" if Firefox is shown, click on "End Task". In "Processes" if Firefox.exe is shown, click on "End Process" and ignore the warning and click"End Process" again. Wait for a few seconds then start Firefox in the usual way. There is a chance that this may solve your problems.
If not, you probably will need to do a complete uninstall and re-install. If you can't start Firefox you could try starting in Safe Mode - Hold down Shift key as you double click on the Firefox icon>ignore the page that opens>and Continue. If you've been able to open Firefox you could work through this Troubleshooting Procedure -

It will - until you purchase iOS 3.
Follow the link that stedman provided, and on that page, instead of choosing the link to iOS4, choose Purchase the iOS 3.1 Software Update directly from the iTunes Store. When you choose it, iTunes will open to the store and page for buying (purchasing) the update. It doesn't cost much (a few dollars although I cannot recall precisely) and it is the only way to update from you current iOS version. Once you do that, a further update to iOS 4.2.1 is free. That particular update may occur straight away, I don't know.
By the way, iOS 4.2.1 is as high as the 2nd generation Touch can go, but don't let that put you off. I have one and although I cannot install the BBC iPlayer (because it requires iOS 5) there are many Apps that work perfectly well with iOS 4.2.1.

I've just read the another discussion (to which you contributed), in which Illaass suggests that you may have a 1st generation Touch. If that is so, then your iPod will only be able to update to iOS 3.1.3. This will still need to be purchased, but be aware that many Apps require iOS 4 or higher, so your options would be more limited. So follow the link Illaass provided to confirm which model you have.

I really need help, my ipod shows to connect to the WiFi but then it will not let me use the interent it says no connection but according to my screen i have WiFi connection, i am very confused an i would really appriciate it if someone could help me sort out this problem so i can start using my iPod for work again.
Even though the iPod shows as been connected, it might not have actually received a valid IP address via DHCP from your Wi-Fi access point or router. Head to Settings -> Wi-Fi and tap the > next to the network you are connected. If 169.xxx.xxx.xxx is listed for an IP Address, then your iPod did not receive a valid IP address. To correct this you can reboot your router by unplugging it from power for about 30 seconds.
It wouldn't hurt to also reset your iPod. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Hard to write is limited space. But tech support has two phones...and iPhone 5c and 5S, left by a former employee. Both are still tied to his itunes at email r********@yahoo.com. They don't the who the employee is. When they try to restore them to defaults, itunes tells them that the phone is linked to an itunes account. How can we get the phones wipes so that the company can reassign them. Assigning at least one of them to me?!!! (Coulld fit into 5c or 5s since there is one of each)
There are two levels of locking:
1. A 4-digit passcode that is entered to access the iPhone. This can be removed by connecting to a computer running iTunes by way of the recovery mode as described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 this simply erases the content and settings so it is accessible.
2. Find My Phone has been turned on in Settings > iCloud using the owners Apple ID and password. This sets the Activation Lock and cannot be bypassed. the owner's Apple ID and password must be entered to release the lock, or, the owner must login to his/her iCloud account, go to Find My Phone, and remove the iPhone from the devices list. After that is done the iPhone can be erased and restored.
Your situation sounds like number 2...the previous employee has installed an Apple ID and password and set the Activation Lock. Your IT folks will not be able to bypass that. At his point, the best hope is to take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar with company proof of ownership, and see if they can help you. -

Hi, the last few times i have tried to sync my iPhone 4 to my itunes it won't work. I plug my phone into my computer, to sync any new pictures i have taken or add my new music i have bought on my phone, and hit sync. It appears to start syncing then an error message appears saying the following:
The iPhone 'my iPhone' cannot be synced. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation.
I'm not sure what this means or why this keeps happening. I have the latest iTunes and i have not done anything different. It appears to have wiped some of my music from my iPhone and a number of my photo albums off. Please can someone help or advise how i resolve this issue. That's what you now need to re-enter in your phone.
Once entered you can go to system/general/Passcode lock
Re-enter the same code and choose turn Passcode off
iOS 7 has been designed to enforce minimum passcode security by default or in the case of the new 5s use of finger print level security. -

Safe browsing, near paranoid use of email, and if you use a web-based email, use a secure browser to visit it, login online, and do not have unnecessary cookies or features set in the browser.

I tried installing Windows 7 using Boot Camp, but it didn't work.
Although it didn't work, the memory is still divided. So I looked for Boot Camp in aplications, but it literally vanished...
So I tried downloading it again, but I only found EXE files... they don't work on my MacBook Pro...
