HT4527 I want to give my iTunes another user name and email with out losing my purchases
How can I change the name and email on my iTunes account without losing all my stuff
You can change your AppleID/e-mail address. In iTunes on the Menu Bar go to Store/View my Apple ID. It'll take you to your account page in iTunes. Where it says Apple ID(your e-mail address) there is a link to edit that information. It shows your current e-mail and password/verify password. Below that is a link to change your security questions and other Apple ID details appleid.apple.com.
On that page it says if you change your e-mail address it'll send a verification e-mail to that address.. and that new Apple ID/e-mail address will be used to access all Apple services(iTunes etc)

How do i get my old computers itunes acount to my new computer with out losing my apps and music
how do i get my itunes account to a diffrent computer without losing any of my apps or music
I assume you mean your itunes library ( music.etc) as your account is only a username and password.
Type "move itunes library" into the google search bar. -
I want to use an iTunes gift card as the back up for in app purchases for a so called free app instead of my credit card or having my bank account emptied.
How can I do this? I saw something about gift cards can only be used for music or movies, not apps. You can use an iTunes gift card for app, music, movies and other media. To redeem one see:

How do I move my iTunes account to another user name on the SAME computer?
Hi,
My kid was the first in my family to get an iPod. When we created her account, since she is young, I put it on my laptop under my user name. Months later, I decided to get an iPod and when I went to set up an account, it wouldn't let me. My neice told me that I had to set up a new user name account on my computer for the new itunes account. I did this, but now I find that this is TOTALLY inconvenient. My computing is done under one user name and, yet, to sync my iPod I have to log out of all of that and go into the other user name. I HATE this -- had I realised this would be such a pain in the neck, I never would have set up my daughter's account under my user name. Is there a way that I can move my itunes account to MY user name and move my daughter's to the other? Can I have them both under one user name? Thanks for any help/adviceWelcome to AD!
Each windows user has an itunes database file that has ratings, playcounts, etc.
It is named iTunesLibrary.itl
So in addition to putting the music in a shared location as Neil suggests, you need to swap your ITL files from each account.
Here is a good background article on that, you are using method 1. My advice is to stay far away from method 3, it's too easy to forget which ITL file itunes last used.
You could also switch to method 2. I used that for several years until my husband started using iTunes and I did not want his play counts in my library.

I just bought a new Mac and I want to transfer some data (not all) from my old Mac. Basically, I want to move my itunes library, iphoto library, and a few documents. I have not even turned on my new Mac yet. Is the best way by an external hard drive?
If both have Firewire ports then you can accomplish your goal by using Target Disk Mode. If this is not possible then you can do using an external drive or if you have a local network connect both to your network and use filesharing between the two computers.

i just bought a new macbook w/ mtn lion. when i transferred data from my old macbook over, it created another user name (i called it "old computer"). That's actually good--I'm not going to be accessing old files frequently--except for music, which i want on my new user name. How do i move files from my "old comp" account to my new one? Is there a way to easily move large #'s of files, or just one by one? I've googled extensively but can only find instructions for OSX 10.6 and previous, which talks about the "Shared folder," which I can't seem to find.

That's actually bad. Peruse Pondini's Setup New Mac guide and seriously consider starting over. -
When I set up Adobe reader on my computer to be able to download books from a library and then transfer to my Nook e-reader, I initially stating No authorization required using Adobe. When I try to change it so I can transfer downloaded books by my Nook e-reader it I get an error message stating the Adobe user name and password is associated with another computer. What gives?
This is pretty surprising and wierd that even Reader 10.1.1 is crashing on your system. It works pefectly for me.
Would it be possible for you to get the crash dump, and upload it, so that I can have a look at the same.
Download PROCDUMP from <http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/dd996900.aspx> and extract it to a folder, say, c:\temp\procdump.exe
Open cmd prompt and type "cd c:\temp".
Launch the browser and open the PDF.
Open task manager, sort processed by name. Two AcroRd32.exe instances should have been launched. Note the PID (a small integer like 5588) corresponding to the AcroRd32.exe with the higher memory usage; this is the process that must be crashing. Note this PID.
On the cmd window, type "procdump -e -ma 5588 c:\temp\01.dmp" (replace 5588 with the actual PID of the process noted in Step 4). Procdump will now wait for the aoolication to crash. If it throws a EULA, accept it.
Perform your steps to cause the crash.
Procdump will have created a dump file at "c:\temp\01.dmp". Zip it up (since it will be 100s of MBs otherwise) and share with me.
Thanks in advance for all your help

if i want to give in my iphone 4s 16gb and get the iphone 6 16gb how much would it be? or how much credit would i get forgiving in my iphone 4s?
You need to ask your carrier this question. Many of them are offering some decent trade in deals, but it varies from carrier to carrier.
