HT4623 I have updated my phone but once the phone has restarted it sais COULD NOT ACTIVATE I PHONE. SERVER TEMPORARY UNAVAILABLE. Does anybody know waht do i have to do?
I have recently updated my phone's version to the 6.1 version and it completed to programing but once the phone turned off and back on and i set up
1. The language to, english
2. Country and Region to, U.S.
3. tells me to choose a network which i already did to continue my activation,
But the ploblem continues after that,
Right now it sais ACTIVATING PHONE.........
But then it takes a few minutes and it tells me this message.........
YOUR IPHONE COULD NOT BE ACTIVATED BECAUSE THE ACTIVATION SERVER IS TEMPORARY UNAVAILABLE. TRY CONNECTING YOUR IPHONE TO ITUNES TO ACTIVATE IT. <----- (hOW dO I DO THAT?) OR TRY AGAIN IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES.
iF PROBLEM PERSIST, CONTACT SUPPORT AT APPLE.COM/SUPPORT.
What can i do to finish my phone's programing?
It's probably because the phone was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it. The update has bricked it.

had a problem with my iphone 3gs.it came from recovery mode,after it it says no service,then activate your iphone..then i follow the steps appeare in the screen..after it it sys could not activate your phone.the server is temporrily unvailable or try to connect to itunes..I tried it many times since january 30 2013 night time.until now it does'nt work...how can u help me to fix my iphone..thanks

Associate your mobile numbers with your Apple ID, if you haven't already done so.
Sign out of iMessage on the Mac:
Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out
and on the iPhone:
Settings ▹ Messages ▹ Send & Receive ▹ Apple ID ▹ Sign out
Then, on the phone, tap
Use Your Apple ID for iMessage
Sign back into iMessage on both devices and test. If there's no change, you may have to wait for a change in network conditions.

I am a granny who was given her daughter's old i phone when she upgraded last year. At some point the camera icon disappeared from the phone and no one could restore it. After purchasing a new Macbook this week I connected my i phone to i tunes and tried to follow some instructions to restore the camera (found on the internet). I think that what I did upgraded something on the phone, but now I have the message "Could not activate iPhone". I have done what it suggests but am still getting the same message.

Yes it was unlocked unofficially, which has caused other problems too.
My daughter went to the contractor (Orange) to ask them to unlock it, but when they were not helpful, she went elsewhere.
Is this the only way to unlock the phone officially? If so, do Apple have any clout if Orange are unhelpful with me. My daughter has the same surname and initial as me, and I think, a current contract with them, so I can verify that I came by the phone legitimately.

Try making a new Apple ID? I don't really understand what you mean.. Make a new apple ID, log in with that one and then when you are on your phone log out of it and THEN log in our old ID? If you still can't log in the old one then it's most probably a bug or something.. Anyway.. Good luck with your problem!!

Now about 10 minuted ago i purchased money for the sims game of a cost or around £35 and money has been deducted out of my bank account and i have not had the simoleons inserted into the game. Let's see. You tried to purchase items three or four times and each time it didn't work. So why would you expect that a fourth (or fifth time) would suddenly work?
Have you contacted the developer of the game to see what the problem is? -
As I previously asked about loss of my music, showing in my library, but not there; I have an exclamation mark after the check and when I click on it it says if I want to locate it. When I click on it it opens a file of lists of itunes files with diferent dates. I have gone through all and found nothing and now when I open itunes it says it is a previous library. What the heck is going on and why can't they make this simple?

I'm based out of Trivandrum, India and am unable to update my iPhone 4S to iOS 6.I tried it wirelessly and via the USB cable,and both fetch me similar errors.Does anyone have a clue on what's going on?
