That is Java. Those are also really old versions. You can actually keep them turned on in Java Preferences.
What you want to change is in Safari > Preferences > Security and turn off Java there. Leave Javascript turned on.
This way, the only thing you disable is Java applets, which are useless anyway. If you need to run any Java programs, they will still work. If you have any specific site that requires a Java applet, you can always turn it on just for that site and turn it back off when you are done.

I cannot figure out how to Download a Youtube video. HELP

I do not want to try some third party BS (Perian, iskysoft, etc...) However, I am seeing others on this site explain how to download a video from Youtube using either Safari or Firefox, but I really can't figure it out and I am very frustrated. I am not trying to download the video to another software program, such as Final Cut Pro or anything.
I want the video, to add to a Powerpoint presentation, that will eventually be uploaded to Youtube. I have never uploaded a video to Youtube before.
I've tried using Safari < Window < Activity< then double clicking on the line that shows the MB's increasing do to the video loading, but that has not worked at all either.
Can someone please help.

You should be able to download it just by double-clicking the video file, It will appear in the Downloads window as "videoplayback.flv" and save to your Downloads folder. Handbrake will let you convert it to a usable format.

Is it just the TV Shows that you moved to the external, or did you consolidate all your media there?
What is the current location of the media folder given under Edit > Preferences > Advanced?
If the media folder is currently pointed to a folder on the internal drive you could select the files you want to copy, then right-click and select Consolidate Files from the pop-up menu. This will leave the originals behind. If you want to move specific files to a new media folder then my script ConsolidateByMoving can do this.

Well, the Import/Export instructions make it seem as if the two computers should be able to communicate this file thru wifi, but that's the linkage I can't seem tocreate with Import/Export. Should I instead email a copy to myself (thats what applecare suggested)? Copy it to and from a thumb drive? But then place the file where? And the article was helpful, but should I be trying to move the Library file or the Library.xml file (as iTunes Help suggests)? In previous versions you could select organize bookmarks. In this version it is gone. I would imagine that since FF now can sync across multiple devices, the ability to organize from any of those becomes more important. Selecting one bookmark at a time to delete or move is too tedious for people with hundreds or thousands of bookmarks.

The way bookmarks are managed has not changed. You now access to the Library window by selecting Bookmarks > Show all bookmarks from the Firefox menu.

Each line needs to have it's own login and password for managing ringbacks and ringtone purchases, and backup and cloud services.
Register each number on the account for it's own username and password, and make the ringback purchase under that login. If it's already purchased under a different number, call customer service and they can straighten it out for you.

Sounds like it was synced from her computer using iTunes. Connect the phone to her computer, open iTunes, click on the name of her phone in iTunes, go to the Photos tab and see if this folder is checked. If so, unchecking it and syncing will remove them all, or deleting/moving the photos from the folder on her computer and syncing will remove the deleted/moved photos.

Take a look at this article about what to do if you have forgotten your Passcode:

Try this first:
Connect the device to the computer with which you normally sync and open iTunes.
Note: If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer" section below.
If the device is still disabled, or if iTunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with iTunes.
If you have chosen to encrypt your backup, it will contain the passcode. Disable backup encryption before restoring from backup. Learn more about iOS backups in iTunes.
When the backup and sync is complete, select Restore from Backup and choose the most recent backup of your device.
And this section if the above does not work.
Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

What is the program you are trying to download? It is a mac version?
Is this a vendor's CD or a copy or ?
What error message or other indication do you get that says the download won't happen?

I have OSX 7.2 Lion but cannot figure out how to setup a signature on apple mail for my emails.

I just converted to OSx 7.2 Lion and starting using the applle mail instead of Entourage because I got a I phone 4S so I wanted to use the cloud. But I can not figure out how or if you can setup a signature to use when emailing. I had it with Entourage and its kinda nice for business so you can put your company name or title after you name without having to type it everytime. Anyone know if you can do it in Lion?

It's possible that the W2 you used was set up with the EchoSign service. It allows you to draw a signature with a mouse. This is available as well with more recent versions of Reader (10.1+) if the form isn't Reader-enabled or secured. You will see this in the Sign panel when the document is opened in Reader.
You can otherwise get an EchoSign account and upload your document and send it to your customers through the EchoSign service. You can establish a free account to see how it works.

I want to run Lexware on my imac and was told I need bootcamp / parallels for this. Are there any downsides to this?

Hello, I need to run bookkeepting/ bill writing/ store management software on my imac and would like to use Lexware's German product (equivalent of Quickbooks), which can directly link to the German tax autorities. I was told I can do this from my imac via Bootcamp (they dont do a mac version).
Is this advisable and are there any downsides? Is it simple enough? Do I need to be online to use the Lexware software (I live in the deepest countryside with a wobbly connection!).

There shouldn't be any issues as Boot Camp allows installation of Windows which runs natively just as if you were on a PC. The only downside is that you have to buy a Windows full install disk. Be sure it is the right version for your software.
