I updated my phone to operating system 7 and now my camra flash dont work and my camra only works with lenes that faces you if i try to take a picture using lenes with flash camra locks any fix's for this?
Yes, it's normal behavior for the Voiceover function.
It's designed for the visually impaired. If it helps, try using your iPhone with your eyes closed. With the first tap, VO begins to read what is on the screen. When you hear the item that you want to select, tap the screen (anywhere) a second time.

Can anyone help. I tried to update my iPhone 4 this morning and it just got half way through the update and froze. I managed to turn it off eventually, but now all it will do is show the apple sign fading in and out and is un usable. It's not even being recognised as plugged into the laptop!!!!!!!

Sorry there is no way your iphone 4 can upgrade to IOS 8, it's not supported.

Iphone 4S not updating to 8.1 and phone now locked
Hello everyone. I woke this morning and tried to update my iphone 4S to iOS 8.1 and was unsuccessful doing so (perhaps due to a weak wifi connection). Now when I put my phone on, a picture shows up asking me to connect my phone to itunes. Once I connect my 4S to itunes, it asks me to restore or update my phone. On clicking update, an iphone software update starts and then as illustrated in the picture below, keeps hanging when it downloads 1.39GB of the 1.66GB update required. I have even tried saying restore but the same problem arises. Any help would be appreciated as my phone is rendered completely useless right now! Please let me know if you need any more details. I recently updated my iPhone 4s to ios6, and lost 1200 odd contacts. I recently sold my macbook air and also my mac book pro, so have no recent backups avaiable. I have a backup from about 4-5 months ago available on an external hdd as a time machine backup. Can I add/update contacts from the back up rather than restore? The reason i wish to do this is because in the update i didnt lose any messages, so all of the people i have met and networked with since that last update those many months ago, i have in my messages listings. They are all unidentified numbers at present but over time i will be able to work through the messages and based on the conversation recall who each was with. Also, yesterday, some two weeks after the update had left my contacts list entirely empty... a vast majority just reappeard, though all of them are without any phone numbers, all just emails or facebook contacts. This is the work of facebook not mac/ios6 isnt it...? Any help here would be greatly apprecaited. I am about 2 days from flying to canada and having those contacts would make life a lot easier.
You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

Are they still listed on your device when you go to Settings>iCloud>Storage>Numbers? If so, they should still be in iCloud but you may need to contact support to find out why the Numbers app isn't able to access them: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/.

I have had to update my iphone 4 in itunes and it has now come up with a message, itunes has found a iphone in recovery and needs to restore it.
I dont want to do this as I cannot loose all my pics on my phone!
My phone is now not working and has an itunes symbol on it with a usb cord!!!!
Please help!!Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, try this a few times if necessary. If still problem, you may have to just Restore your iPhone to get it working. In the future sync your iPhone with iTunes routinely and when it contains important data, iCloud when set correctly will do this for you continuously.

Hi, my iphone 5 encountered an unknown error while updating to iOS 7 via itunes and is now stuck in recovery mode and prompts me to restore the phone when I connect it to itunes but then I would lose all my data. I DO NOT have any back ups on itunes. Is there anyway to get out of recovery mode without restoring or recover data after a restore?
Or any other suggestions please? ThanksAs pdroth said, you should have gotten a backup made when you started the update of iOS. If you cannot find a backup, and the phone is in recovery mode, there are no futher suggestions to make. To get the phone working again you have to restore. You cannot force a backup at this time since it is already in recovery mode. It will not allow anything else but a restore at this point.
