Html email with blob attachment and authentication

I have been looking for a plsql package to send html emails with blob attachments. The html portion and the blob attachment are more than 32k.
Also the email server needs to be authenticated.
Does anyone know of something already written to do this? I’ve found lots of code that does one or two items but not all.
Must:
- Authenticate
- Html email
- Accept blob as input parameter for attachment
- Exceed 32k
There are so many routines, I’ve been searching looking for one which does all.

This works for authentication:

I am trying to send a BLOB attachment stored in the table using UTL_MAIL. Can this be done ? If yes, can someone please provide me with a headstart ?

If your blob data isn't too large you could possibly do it with the UTL_MAIL package, but if your blob is too large to be passed as an argument to a function or a procedure, then you will need to use the UTL_SMTP package instead. There are several examples available for using this package in this forum.

If you are going to begin using the UTL_SMTP package, you should familiarize yourself with the appropriate RFC documents which relate to creating and sending email.

I receive an email with an attachment and I forward it the person who I send it to cannot forward it on

Like the question says. I receive an email from someone with an attachment. I can forward it on to someone else but that person cannot send the same email with the same attachment on to other people.

I have tried this but it still doesn't work. So many people cannot open .eml files. If I send an E-Mail by forwarding they do not get it the attachment.

Help< I opened an email with photo attachements and it is taking all day to download, I cant delete it, it just stops mail from working. Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

When I receive an email with an attachment I am unable to read the attachment. I contact AT&T and they say the problem is with Firefox.

when I receive an email with an attachment and download it I get a message stating that the attachment can not be read for various reasons. HTML emails with attachments

When I compose an html email (ie: using the float left alignment on a picture) and add an attachment(word doc), the formatting is lost on the recipient's end. In fact usually, the body of the message is blank and the pictures, html file, and original attachment all show up as attachments. I'm wondering if this is an undocumented limitation of Mail or if I'm doing something wrong. I know that when you compose a mail using stationery you can't add any attachments.
The formatting isn't even correct in Mail's sent folder (show up as rich text similar to Mail 2's formatting). Is anyone out there able to send an html email with an attachment?

It looks like there is an actual RFC for HTML e-mail. It is a bit more "standard" than I thought. When I looked at the raw messages last night, they didn't look like other HTML MIME messages I had worked with in the past. If I can provide that Apple Mail doesn't conform to this RFC, I will update the bug report with the details. In the past, Apple has been very good with e-mail standards - years ahead of everyone else. I certainly hope the format of the message is correct and it is just a display problem.

Email with excel attachment...strange....

My mother is trying to send me an Excel file that she received in another email (she can't open it-doesn't have Excel). She's tried forwarding the whole email to me, dragging just the wanted file to a new email and also saving the file to her desktop and attaching to a new email. Her "sent" box says it was sent-all times. The emails never arrive. I've checked my webmail folders and nothing. She sent a straight test email with nothing attached and it arrives fine. I'm stumped....

How Mail work with image attachements and HTML image ?

Hello,
I'm writing an application that sends html emails with images to Mail.app. When Mail display the mail, everything is okay, images are correctly embedded in html code, using inline attachements.
But there's still a problem : The images are also displayed at the bottom of the email, as file attachements. I know that Mail's template can hide these attachements, but I cannot reproduce it when sending my own emails.
Is there anybody here that already get such problem and find the solution ? (apparently, Windows User get the same problem with Outlook, but they have an API under Windows...I'm using my own email API..)

David can you share how you managed to get the inline images to work. I've got the general idea of how to do it. But I do not seem to be able to change the Content-Type to multipart/mix. Can you point me in the right direction. Should the Content-Type definition and everything else be part of the body? Or should some headers (namely the multipart) be defined in the mailto URL format?
In other words do you do: mailto:?subject=test&Content-Type=multipart/mix;%20boundary=myBoundary&body=--m yBoundary etc...
Or id it: mailto:?subject=test&body=Content-Type=multipart/mix;%20boundary=myBoundary%20- -myBoundary etc..
Neither seems to work for me so I am really stuck. But knowing what the right way is would help me figure things out a bit better.

I had a similar problem in that my wife's iphone 5 could not send pics with imessage. Had to set the settings to default to SMS or whatever. After laboring many hours on the web I coincidentally was on the phone with the internet people to question my internet speed. They changed the router channel, which is something that I am capable of doing myself. After that, the pics go over imessage. My own Iphone didn't have the problem. We are both latest IOS 7.0.6.

Sending emails with both body and attachment to multiple recipients

I have a requirement to send email with body and attachment to multiple recipients.
Body of the email is a standard text. It is a proxy-to-mail scenario.
Here is what I've done: (I'm using PI 7.11)
One mapping from Source to Target structure (format of the attachment text file)
Second mapping from Target Structure to Mail Package format.
In the second mapping I'm concatenating the output of first step into "Content" of the Mail Package.
"XIPAYLOAD" is the message protocol used.
The "Keep attachments" option in the Mail adapter allows only to send "Content" as attachment or as body of the email.
How to send an email with both content and text?
The other problem is even with using ASMA, I can't send email to multiple recipients. I can only do CC and TO for 1 person each - a total of 2. Although I can resolve this by creating mailing lists, it is better if this can be addressed in PI.

For the first question, I was able to find the solution in the following blog:

(I just needed to search with the right set of key words )
The key is to set the "Content Encoding" as "None" in the mail adapter. If this is not done, the mail will be sent with an attachment - untitled.bin containing both the mail body and the attachment text. Also, don't forget to check the "Keep Attachments" checkbox in the mail adapter.
Multiple recipients could be added by separating the email IDs with a Comma. I have used ASMA to set the recipients.

When I forward an HTML email with embedded graphics to someone, it forwards it as plain text.. this is driving me batty.. how do I forward such mails INTACT??

I have the latest Thunderbird installed on a new 64-bit Winblows Eight netbook.. fantastic program, but one problem is driving me absolutely batty, and after using the latest Thunderbird for weeks, I simply can't figure out how to fix it..
I'm on a lot of mfr. and other kinds of mailing lists, like eBay watch list alerts, and so on.. these are not s p a m (although I get plenty of that.. who doesn't).. but lists I WANT to be on..
Many such emails from those mailing lists are in HTML format with embedded graphics.. I'm not talking about graphic file attachments, but embedded graphics which are coming from the senders' servers, and appear AS a graphic in the email.. sometimes such emails are one huge graphic with hardly any text.. all well and good..
However, here's the problem.. when I want to forward such an email to a friend, Thunderbird ALWAYS formats it as plain ASCII text.. I know this because I look in the "sent mail" folder, and can see that it has turned an HTML email with embedded graphics into plain ASCII text..
I absolutely can't figure out how to get it to forward an HTML email with embedded graphics INTACT, so the sender receives it looking the way it looks when I receive it from a mailing list, or an advertiser, or eBay, or whoever..
Is Thunderbird capable of forwarding an HTML email with embedded graphics INTACT?.. If so, how / where do I turn on that capability?..
If the capability to do this isn't built into the program, is there an add-on I can install that will give it that ability?..
I am not new to computers.. but this really has me stumped.. I want to put Thunderbird on my 32-bit Vista laptop and stop using its horrible "Windoze Mail" program, which I've been using for years, and is slower than snot, and has all kinds of other problems..

I can't answer your Thunderbird "configuration" questions, because I'm in the living room, using the crap Vista laptop, on which I plan to install Thunderbird, and then take Windoze Mail out in the street and drive over it a few times.. I'll get back to you one way or the other, and let you know if your instructions solved the problem, or not..
I don't understand why Thunderbird "out of the box", so to speak, simply doesn't forward HTML emails with embedded graphics, (like Outlook Excess, and Winblows Mail do).. without having to go through those steps. I personally HATE HTML email, but over the years, it's become more and more prevelant.. so it's a problem I must fix..

Okay, we have a "z"-version of program RFFOUS_T and some of its include codes. One include code, RFFORIO6, has a form called MAIL_PDF_ADVICE. It is in this form that we are emailing a remittance advice form. The actual form is attached as a PDF file.
Unfortunately, there's no text in the body of the email -- it's just the attachment -- so the users would like us to add a couple basic lines in the body of the email that explain the attachment. I'm pretty new to using this particular FM and emailing the PDF attachment, and I've gotten stuck in my research trying to find out exactly how to do this. I'm guessing this shouldn't be all that difficult, but I'm not finding the right solution. Here's the form:

Hi Dave,
Table contents_bin is used to pass attachment file and contents_txt is used to pass mail body contents. You need to declare one more int table to give contents for mail body.
