HTTPS Port on Managing the URI of the Human Task Service

Hi, I am working on SOA\BPM suite and when I deploy my workflow application (bpm + human workflow UI projects) noted , since some days ago, that all Human Workflow listed on Enterprise Manager (navigating as in [SOA-BPM Suite Dev Guide|http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/admin.1111/e10226/hwf_mang.htm#BABGFCCC] ) are reporting HTTPS Port with value 7002 .
I don't like to get this value when deploy my application , I want to get 0 as HTTPS Port, how I have to do this ?

The server gets this info from the hwtaskflow.xml file in your UI project. Although I can't say it will work, just set the httpsPort element to 0 and redeploy

Display the status of parallel human tasks in ADF web page (BPM 11g)

Hi,
We create a BPMN process (BPM 11g) which splits into parallel branches. Each branch has its own user activity. We want to show the task status of ALL the parallel user activities (running or completed) in the ADF web page implemented for the user activity so the user would have the whole picture of the process.
In another words, we are able to check the status of the component instances associated with the process instance in the Oracle EM. We want to provide the similar information (in our case, we only want to show the status of the human task components) to the user when they access the human task page.
I wonder if the only solution is to write Java code with the API to lookup the BPMN process instance. We try to avoid Java coding if possible. Please advise. Also, so far, I have not found any complete instruction/document on how to access the BPMN process instance and check the tasks etc. through the API. Please help if you know where I could get such information.

How to capture the Escalation status in Human Task & Update in database

Hi,
I have created a Workflow where I have a humantask. Here if the Approver Escalates the task, I want to capture this Workflow status and need to Update it in the our(Oracle) Database as Escalated. I am Updating the database as Approved when the Approver Approves and Rejected when he rejects. as we can have capture these status. Similarly I want to do for the Escalated status also.
Please Help I have been stuck to this.

Skipping weekends while setting the expiration duration in Human task

Hi,
I need the task to expire after 5 days.
If I give a 'Fixed Duration' of 5 days, that would mean weekends are included as well.
How can I avoid this?

I have done the the first part of what you suggested, namely:
- Created a calendar called QCalendar (Monday to Friday, 8 hours)
- Created a Organizational Unit called QUnit and associated the QCalendar with it.
- Added a group called QGroup to the Org Unit
- Created a task with one stage, and assignee as QGroup. Task Expiration is set at 10 days. 'UseBusinessCalendar' attribute is set to true.
This does not work. Weekends are still considered.
I felt I was missing something, and I believe that is what you mention when you say - 'Here's where I'm not entirely certain about this... I believe you will have to map the name of the org unit into the task payload using an association.'
Can you please elaborate on that part?

Getting the URI of a drop into a native folder

I am making an FTP program where I have FileIcons that represent Files on the FTPServer. I am using my own TransferHandler to handle dropping FileIcons from my JFrame onto the native desktop. The way that my program works now is, I initiate the drag as a FileList DataFlavor and then when the drop occurs onto the desktop, the native operating system takes care of it from there and copies the file.
The problem is that I want to change my implementation to be more efficient. When I change directories on the FTPServer, I download all the files and store them locally as temp files. You can see that this has major overhead if there are large files in the directory.
When I drag my FileIcon onto the desktop, I want to be able to get the URI of the directory on the native operating system where the drop occured and then start the download of the file associated with the FileIcon that was moved.
I have thought about using the FileList data flavor still for the drop, but with no files. But I can't figure out how to find out the URI for where the drop took place so that I can download the file and copy it there. Anyone have any ideas?

The change event occurs before the rawValue is changed. If you NEED to use the rawValue you'll need to use a later event. Perhaps you could use exit so that it gets triggered when the field loses focus?

OC4J http port in release 2

i am deploying an oc4j application on release 2. but am not sure what is the oc4j http port from where i can access the web-site of the application deployed. also, what all configurations need to be done to make this work. in release 1, the server.xml, default-web-site.xml and data-sources.xml had to be edited. is it the same here or any other xml files need to be changed?

By default OC4J 9.0.2/9.0.3 is configured to listen for http requests at port 8888. Please look at http-web-site.xml.

HTTPS port Active in CRM server

Hi All,
Our client wanted to do SAP CRM and Outlook integration. for the same they required HTTPS port to be opened and activated......
Presently we can not proceed with issuing certificate on SAP Web Application Server, since there is no option on SAP server to integrate this certificate.
Please let us know whether SAP Cryptographic Software is required for above said setting or we can do the above setting without SAP Cryptographic Software .........

For an HTTPS port to be opened and activated, the SAP Cryptographic Software installation is a requirement.
What you can do is , install the SAP Cryptographic software from the following links:

Now, try to open the port for HTTPS and add the parameters to SMICM
Then go to MS Outlook CRM Calendar Sync. Tool Options and add the HTTPS port info in the host name field.

Error handling problem with outbound idoc status 02 and XML HTTP Port

I set up an ALE scenario to send master data out of SAP via an XML HTTP port. All goes well until the idoc receives error 02.
It looks like idocs in this error status with the use of an XML HTTP port can not be reprocessed via the standard SAP techniques. Program RBDAGAIN takes them out of the list for reprocessing (even though the connection is back up and running).
Is there any solution to still use the standard ALE error handling ?

Looks like based on note 701597, you can only reprocess these idocs manually via a workitem. I qouted the relevant text below:
3. Error handling with status '02':
An HTTP IDoc in status '02' should not automatically be sent once again.
Up to now, the RBDAGAIN report was used to resend incorrect IDocs.
However, this report was adjusted and now deletes all IDocs in status 02
to be routed to a HTTP port from the list of selected IDocs. IDocs to a
HTTP port in status '02' should only be sent manually via a work item.

ICM HTTPS Port Hung

Hi Experts,
We have activated SSL in our landscape and configured the PSE files. The HTTPS service is fine and is at active state from SMICM.
I 'm able to access J2ee using Direct HTTPS port. But when I try to access using HTTPS port of ICM it prompts me the correct certificate details but from there it simply hungs. The Progress bar in the internet explorer stays still .
I tried to increare the ICM trace level but still not able to find the exact solution.
When checking the active connections right from entering the URL . It moves from Accept connection --> Read Request --> Write Response and then hungs at the Write Response stage.
Even after closing the sessions I find the active session entry till I restart ICM !! . Not sure what can be the reason.

Dear Karthick,
if you want to see what the ICM does on a HTTPS connection, you will have to set the profile parameter 'icm/trace_secured_data=true', otherwise the ICM will not log anything for HTTPS connections. The ICM will have to be restarted to put this into effect.

I need to increase the size of the textbox in the .jsp page of Human Task.
I am showint some text in the textbox which are currently not editable, and as the length of textbox is small, the complete text is not visible.
If anyone know how to customize the jsp page of Human Task, please share.

Libraries for Human task in managed server

Hi All,
We are using SOA Suite 11.1.1.6 for the current project. I have a questions regarding the setup of the managed server for Human Task Flow. For specific reasons, in our domain, we have three managed servers: admin, soa and taskform. The managed domain "taskform" will hold all ear project for human tasks.
The question is while configuring the domain, which libraries should we install in the "taskform" managed server?

This is the 11.1.1.5 documentation I am sure there would be an equilivant in your version.
In theory the URL should be provided by the deployment process but you can check this
In EM click on the composite with the human task component in it
Under Component Metrics click on the human task component
In the Administration tab you should see an entry which is the URI to the task form
As I said I havn't got this working on our system yet and I would be intrested in hearing if you are sucessful

Can the CIM server listen on the HTTPS port 5989?

In the man page of init.wbem it is mentioned that it starts or stops the CIM boot manager.And at startup, the CIM Object Manger Listens for RMI connections on RMI port 5987 and for XML/HTTP connections on HTTP port 5988.
But 5988 is not the secured port and I want the CIMOM to listen on the secured port 5989. CAn we change its configuration to listen on the HTTPS port 5989? and if so how can it be done?

The current version of the Solaris CIMOM doesn't support https, which is usually found on port 5989.

We are finally updating our decade-old phone system to get VoIP phones. I need a 48-port gigabit switch with:
- QoS
- VLAN tagging (so a managed switch)
- PoEWe only have single drops to our workstations. I have never worked in IOS before, but I like the idea of a Cisco that meets our needs here and isn't crazy expensive, if such a thing exists. Or maybe Brocade? I've heard they are an offshoot of Cisco. Budget is "as cheap as I can get it."I've been looking at this switch, which has good reviews on amazon, but I've never heard of the brand, whichscares me. The last two switches I've bought are Netgear and I've been really pleased with them BUT we don't use the "managed" portion of the switches at all (not VLANs, etc). Suggestions appreciated...
