HUB issue on Z10

Hi,
I would like to seek for your assistance if you ever encounter issue below;
On BB Z10 device, I have configured an IMAP account. The email has been working well for many months. However, since yesterday I was not able to read any email related to this account. When I check the account settings, I was not able to find any settings related to this IMAP account. This is very strange as the HUB is showing the mail box.
I have tried resetting the HUB by using gesture (5 times swipes) and rebooted the device (removing the battery). The HUB still showing the mailbox. I have created another mailbox with similar settings - and now the HUB is showing another mailbox, instead of overriding it.
May I know if there is any way to totally remove the corrupted/effect mailbox without wiping the device?
Thanks.

Try also a restart and a reboot of the device.
Restart: Press and hold the top edge power button a couple seconds until you see the RESTART at lower right.
Reboot: Press and hold both up and down volume keys about 20 seconds (ignore the early "screenshot made" message) until the screen goes black and initiates the reboot.

  • USB 3.0 Hub Issue with W510 Please Help

I tried to search for this but no luck.  I just bought a Syba 4-port USB 3.0 hub to use with my W510.  After plugging in the power and then the USB cord, the drivers installed and everything seemed fine.  After restarting the computer I noticed that I had lost Bluetooth (even the LED was off).  I tried restarting again and using the Function-F5 keys but Bluetooth wasn't even an option.  I disconnected the hub, restarted the computer, and was able to see and reenable Bluetooth.  I repeated the problem, and now have resorted to hooking up the hub to my desktop.  To make sure it wasn't a "hub" issue I tried a USB 2.0 hub with the laptop and it booted up just fine, with Bluetooth still enabled.  Also, while I didn't confirm it, somehow I think plugging the Syba hub in (AC adapter) and then inserting the USB cable actually turned my computer on...weird.  Does anyone know why this USB 3.0 hub won't let my computer boot normally?  Can anyone recommend a USB 3.0 hub that can be left plugged in and doesn't have any boot or Bluetooth issues?  I couldn't find a BIOS setting that might be the culprit.

There appears to be a BIOS bug with the latest BIOS (1.34 for my 4318 CTO W510).  After the above failed attempt to hook up a USB 3.0 Hub I tried a different brand (Monoprice) and had exactly the same result.  You can't have a hub (with AC Adapter attached or not) to my laptop without it disabling Bluetooth at bootup (the radio is unavailable in Windows until you unplug the hub, restart the computer, and reenable with Function F5).  I've elevated the issue to Lenovo and hopefully they'll have a BIOS update...it isn't a driver issue (I don't think) as the Bluetooth gets disabled prior to Windows booting.  Has anyone else successfully been able to get a USB 3.0 hub to work, while mainting Bluetooth?  By work...I mean not having to plug and unplug everytime...you should be able to leave it plugged in, turn off the computer, turn on the computer, and everything still work.  Frustrating.

  • Open hub issues

    Hi,
open hub issues occured in the process chain. Some of the files didnt reach to the external customer directories. so i want to know where can i  insert the abap code 7.0 so that external tool picks up the files once all files have been reached to BWP/Interface in T-code AL11.
In 3.5 you can insert the code in infosporke using BADI. Only possibility i think of transformations but not sure where to insert it.
    Thanks in advance
    krish

    Hi Krish,
It is my understanding that the files would not be available on the application server until after the transformation step has
been completed. Therefore it would not be useful to create a routine in the transformation.
Maybe you could create a program that could be inserted in the subsequent step of the process chain?
    Best Regards,
    Vincent

  • Hub++ killed my Z10

I bought Hub++ for my Z10 (I had its predecessor for my 9780 and it worked flawlessly) unfortunately when I activated it, my Z10 went into a continual reboot loop necessitating in a security wipe to recover the phone. It is more than likely that something else is contributing to the obvious conflict, Toolbox perhaps.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any solutions? Or, is it just me?

Why blame Hub++, if you think it might have been Toolbox?
    Any android apps installed?

  • Issues with Z10 syncing with Outlook calendar

Hi, I am looking for help to resolve an issue I am having. When I add items to my calendar on my Z10 it never sends them to Outlook. I keep track of my workorders during the day on my phone and need to print them out at the end of the day and I have been using the calendar to do this with my curve but its not working with the Z10. When I receive invites for meetings via email and accept them they show up in my calendar on both the pc and the phone but nothing seems to be coming from the phone to the pc. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
    Todd

I had this issue as well until i realized that the items i was scheduling on my BB Calendar were going to a different Email addresses Calendar. For example, while my BlackBerry is a personal device, and my personal email is set up as the main address, I would attempt to schedule or accept meetings coming to my work email, which is also on this phone, and my work email calendars would not update appropriately.
My suggestion is to review calendars attached to other email accounts associated to your BB to see if Meetings you accept are going to alternate calendars.

  • File Manager Issue on Z10

Anyone else having this issue - my File Manager started appearing blank and I can not view any of the folder (files) and can't change between my SD card, Box accoutn and Device.  It was working no problem up until a couple of days ago. I tried resetting my Z10 and still no luck.
    Hoepfuylly someone can help.
    Thanks.

It appears that my SD card is corrupt - it was causing the issues.  I removed it and had no problems with it. So looks liek the OS is fine.

  • Multiple Hub Issue

I recently decided to use an AEX as my router and discovered an issue. My setup before the AEX was as follows: Cable modem -> Router -> 2 ethernet hubs linked together. When I replaced the router with the AEX nothing connected to the hub would connect and get an IP. The solution was to unlink the two hubs and connect each of them separately to the AEX. Now everything works but it limits my expandability due to where all the equipment is located. Is this a known issue? Is there a way to do this and have more than one hub linked? (Hubs are Netgear if that matters.)
    Thanks,
    Greg

My first question is, are these actually Ethernet hubs or Ethernet switches?
An Ethernet hub will "split" an Ethernet connection. Devices connected to the hub will receive the same signal that the hub receives. The problem that arises is when you use a hub to "split" an Internet connection. For example, when the router's DHCP server offers an IP address, all the devices attached to the hub will get the same offer. It will become a "first-come/first-served" situation where the device that responds first, gets the address. Also, hubs, unlike switches do not "remember" what device is connected to it, so all traffic goes out to all devices if even the device didn't request it.

  • IPad 2 iOS 5 Windows 7 USB hub issue solution

I thought I would post this message to help those running Windows 7 (or other versions of Windows) that might be having "USB Device Unrecognized" issues with their iPad when going to iOS 5.  In my case it is an iPad 2.
Long story short... When upgrading to iOS 5 using iTunes 10.5, if you are getting "USB Device Unrecognized" error messages or Windows has trouble installing the USB driver with your iPad (or maybe another iDevice) and that device is connected to a USB hub of some sort that may have worked previously under iOS 4.x or earlier, the solution for me was to connect the iPad to one of my PC's main USB ports (as in the ones directly connected to the motherboard). For whatever reason, Windows is not able to recognize my iPad 2 running the first release version of iOS 5 when it is connected to the USB ports on my Dell 2408 LCD panel's hub. Even though this was never an issue with iOS 4.x
    More detail...
I am running Windows 7 (64 bit) with all the latest updates and I had an iPad 2 running iOS 4.3.5 and I always docked it and my iPhone 4 to my PC using the USB hub on my Dell 2408 LCD panel.  I NEVER had any USB issues with either device until going to iTunes 10.5 & iOS 5.
The issue came up when I was doing a restore of the iOS 5 GM (which is the same as the final release of iOS 5) to my iPad 2.  When I started the restore, the iPad 2 gets reset to DFU mode (or whatever mode it gets in to start the restore) and at that point Windows complained about the USB Device being unrecognized.  After I gave up I told iTunes to do a regular restore back to the previous version (4.3.5) and Windows had no issues seeing my iPad and doing the restore connected to the same USB port.
So there appeared to be something about iTunes 10.5 or iOS 5 causes Windows to not be able to install the correct driver and have "USB Device Unrecognized" errors when my iPad 2 was connected to my Dell monitors USB hub.  I should mention that my iPhone 4 running iOS 5 has no problems being connected to my Dell monitors USB hub.  I tried all the suggestions that Apple has on their support section.  Restarting the Apple Mobile Device service, Uninstalling the bad USB device under the Device Manager in Windows and rescanning for devices, un-installing and then reinstalling iTunes 10.5 and the other Apple software etc... etc... Windows still could not find the correct USB driver and couldn't recognize the device.  Nothing worked or when it did it only lasted for a very short time.  One of the 4 ports on my Dell finally installed the correct drivers but then it stopped working.
The solution was for me to use the built in USB ports that are on my PC itself.  After I did that, Windows has no issues installing the proper driver for my iPad 2 and seeing it once I used the PC's USB ports.
For more detail see this post on the macrumors.com forums here...

Yes, Apple has caused people to go through massive panic, anxiety and wasted time by not coming out and telling us about this problem. They must know about it. How can we tell them? Now I understand why it took me 50 tries to upgrade to OS5. We all got the same crazy errors that caused us to reinstall iTunes, turn off our firewalls, buy new USB cables and basically waste tons of time and energy, when the solution was very simple. Plug your device into a USB port on your computer.
After years of using a peripheral USB hub successfully it's no wonder we all started freaking out and thinking it was a major problem. Yes, I'm blowing off some steam, but I've been an Apple fanatic for a long time and I'm not happy about their lack of response to this issue.

  • Problem: Intermittant accesst to remove DVR function from work, plus unrelated(?) hub issue

    Hi folks.
We have the DVR with media manager and multiroom and all that.  I love it, but two things are going on.
1: I can sometimes, but rarely, get to remove DVR functions from the webpage. When I log in I can see  the caberbox status that tells me how many hours of recordingI have left. However, I don't see an icon on the left that lets me record or delete things, nor can i see anything when I click the DVR button from the cablebox status page.  Whats going on? Sometimes I can see it, but not often enough.
2: When watching DVR'ed programs in the bedroom, occiasionaly we get a popup message that covers the screen saying something about losing connection to the hub or something like that. IT then stops us from watching the recorded program, and makes us go back again from the begining. Any idea what thats about?

There have been hub errors and other issues with HM DVR and I believe it is fixed with th 1.6.2 software that is being rolled out nationwide. There is a post about 1.6.2 that shows the remaining schedule of where and when. If you go to menu/ settings/ System Information, it will show you what version you have.
Here is a link to that posting.

  • New Mac Pro 2013 late version USB 3.0 hub issue during boot

Hi all, I just purchased a new Mac Pro 8 core with 32GB of ram and 1 TB drive. When I connect a USB powered 3.0 hub and turn on my Mac Pro, it gets hung on while booting. (Gray screen before the Apple logo appears on boot). If I pull the USB 3.0 hub out, the Mac Pro proceeds to boot normally. Once I am fully booted on my Mac Pro and I plug the USB 3.0 hub back in, everything seems to work fine. I have an enclosure that works off of lightening connector and the enclosure has a USB 3.0 hub onboard. I plug the USB 3.0 hub in that device and every thing seems to boot up fine on the Mac Pro. Any idea why when I plug in the USB 3.0 directly why the Mac Pro ha issues booting up?
    Thanks in Advance.

The Driver for the Hub does not get loaded until late in the Boot-up process.
It is common not to be able to use devices on a Hub during boot-up, as they will not be ready (and therefore not available) until the Login screen appears.
For devices you need during boot-up, attach directly to a built-in USB port on the chassis, not on a display or any other Hub.
If your issue is only that the device interferes with Booting in general, ask the guys at OWC. They select their stocked items for trouble-free, and train their support people to resolve remaining problems quickly. If there is a problem, they will help you get is fixed quickly -- often providing an advanced exchange if that seems appropriate.

  • Yosemite 10.10.2 and USB hub issue

    Hi there,
I got a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite last December and bought a USB hub (four-port) on Jan 3rd. I was using it for one month with
OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 without any problems.
On Feb 4th I switch to OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 and I started to have 2-4 times the following issue per day:
    - mac frozen (I cannot use the keyboard or the mouse) but I see that the clock is working. No other way that a hard reset.
I did check memory and hard drive and everything is ok
    - for one week I did use the USB hub and didn't have any issue
    - I started again and less than 24h hour later I got a similar issue !
I am not 100% sure this related to 10.10.2 but before with 10.10.1  I had no issue ! I am not sure to understand how a USB hub can crash a Mac.
I try to look a the Consol application but couldn't really identify a common issue a the time of the issue but maybe some messages like that :
    Any idea or suggestion ?
    Thanks
    Cheers

  • Hub Management on Z10

I select items to be inlcuded in my hub - various emails, texts & BBM. However they randomly change to off and I am always having to go back in and reset. Any suggestions?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Yes...it should go to a white screen with a message "resetting Hub" or something similar. If it does not, then try again. Try with the Hub itself up, or with the Hub Messages list.

  • Sudden issue connecting Z10 USB mass media storage to BMW car

For the past year I have had no issues USB connecting my Z10 to my BMW car (to listen to music) via the USB port. Ever since 2 weeks ago my Z10 has had issues connecting.
It would initially connect and the car display screen will show the connection as "read" but then when I try to go into the music folder/s nothing works. When I try to open a music folder (via the BMW display screen) I would hear a tiny-soft squeeling sound (2 tenth of a second) and then the car retries to connect to the phone again.
It's strange how it just suddenly happen. My ' USB mass storage' is switched on which allows the car to read from the phone's media card. I have cleared / formatted the USB card and put the music back onto the media card but the problem still arises. In my opinion it has to be the car electronics system that's causing the issue...unless someone can tell me otherwise.
    Any help?

Have you tried to connect the phone using the Mass Storage to a computer and to access the media files using the computer.
Also I would be trying another SD card in the phone just to see if it is not the SD card that is begining to be defect in some part of it

  • New issue about z10

    I have z10 stl100 1
My battery is going mad. It jump from 85 percent to 0 % level and screen shows battery level is below 10% show . Now when I am writing this post my battery was 44% discharged and it suddenly dropped to 0% with red green ( yellow) blinking of led light any solution? Why it is jumping to zero from different levels

    Hi tahabashir1991
Is it possible that you have any downloaded 3rd party applications installed that may be using up your battery life? If so, I recommend uninstalling any 3rd party applications to see if that resolves the issue.
If that isn't the case, I suggest trying another battery that you know to be functioning correctly to rule out any issues with the battery itself that may be causing this.
Please let me know the results. Thanks.

  • DELL 2713 USB hub Issue on MacBook Pro Retina 15

    Hello,
I have a new MacBook pro retina 15" and Dell 2713 monitor.
the Dell works fine with the MacBook with supplied DP cable.
BUT the USB hub doesn't work, the monitor is connected to the computer with original dell usb 3.0 cable.
Note: on PC & win7, it works fine
How can I find a proper drivers for this built-in USB 3.0 hub.
    thanks,
    Tomer

The Retina models are full of flaws. You have found one of them. For some reason the discrete graphic card is being shut off in Windows and you are now using the built in Intel HD Graphics 4000. Why I have no idea.
