Hello,
Trying to create customer site using Hz_Cust_Account_Site_V2pub.Create_Cust_Site_Use API is returning an error.
Please set the Receivables system options for this operating unit and ensure that the MO: Operating Unit profile option is correctly set with an operating unit that is set
up in Receivables.
App - 12.1.3
Database - 10g

We get above mentioned error message at any point in WebI Rich Client.
DataSource: Teradata 12.0 (Local machine)
BO XI 3.1 Client installed on local machine
Universe (Secured connection)
WebI : desiging and creating in Standlone mode
WebI client version : 12.1.0.882
Many times above written error is thrown 2-3 times even when we click on OK button and lastly followed by new error message:-
Unable to get the first page of the current report - Web Intelligence will switch to structure view (WIJ 20003).
Flow: We create report based on locally saved universe. There are couple of scenarios for which error comes
1) After successfully saving the report, reopen and refresh causes this error (1st error and 2nd)
2) Droping a properly written variable on measure column, if done Ctrl + Z, report works sometimes (both or 2nd error message)
3) Draging out the mesaure or dimension from report (only 2nd error)
Report is simple and no other stuff except the cross tab table
Even if we start with simply dropping the dimension and measures on report, 2nd error comes at any time.
What we noticed is that if we do all desiging in structure mode and then run instead of in result mode, reports works for more time.

SAP BI 4.0 processDPCommands API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270) ?

I just installed BI 4.0 with SP01 Patch 04 on 2 different environments.
I tried to test the eFashion universe and some of the reports, but I am getting this error on the Interactive Analysis Web even when I tried to create very simple eFashion Universe. Connecting test is working on both servers, same problem in both servers. Please let me know??

ebi errors after installing SP01 Patch 4
Now I have a concrete things to say.
I installed SAP BI 4.0 on Windows with Tomcat
I tried to create the simplest eFashion universe, make the simplest Webi report from it and all work fine.
I decided to go a head and install the latest patch SP01 Patch 04. After installation I could not get any Webi report to work. I drag and drop my objects and once I hit Refresh (first time) I get this error (when I hit Refresh second time I get the next error)

Looks like you have passed data in wrong format to RFC input parameter.
Your format: DDMMYYYY (03042008)
Expected: YYYYMMDD
I would use a graphical mapping function "DataTrans" to convert date format from DDMMYYYY to YYYYMMDD.

I found that while selecting refresh checkbox in one of the query which is using .xls file from the local system this is showing above error while running from above link.
If it is unchecked it is running without any error.
while running report from webirichclient(where we are developing reports) it is running without any error.

It seems you are on SP3, and I assume the operating system of the BO server is Windows based.
Please cross-check that the Excel version you have matches the ODBC driver in the supported platforms document for XI3.1 SP3 [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/4079f8f6-2b49-2d10-d790-bc596012dc25]

I was trying to add a ssl-proxy server to a policy map when I had this error message "Error: Called API encountered error".
I'm running version A2(1.4a).

The ACE uses an SSL proxy service in a Layer 7 policy map to load balance outbound SSL initiation requests to SSL servers. The ACE acts as an SSL client sending an encrypted request to an SSL server. For more information about SSL initiation, see the Cisco Application Control Engine Module SSL Configuration Guide.
To specify an SSL proxy service in a policy map, use the ssl-proxy command in policy map load-balancing class configuration mode. The syntax of this command is as follows:
ssl-proxy client name
The name argument is the identifier of an existing SSL proxy service. Enter an unquoted text string with no spaces and a maximum of 64 alphanumeric characters.
For example, enter:

In Service Request no. 2744824, customer is 'WAYNE COUNTY (NORTH CAROLINA)'/Number 1605753/ Account 375554. However, serial no. BC512T0008 is attached with 'WAYNE COUNTY (NORTH CAROLINA)'/Number 32522/ Account 375554 in Installed Base.
Due to this, debrief lines are not submitted and error is coming as 'API Programming error (CS_CHARGE_DETAILS_PVT.Create_Charge_Details): &TEXT.'
I have checked for Doc ID 753240.1 and customer 'WAYNE COUNTY (NORTH CAROLINA)' with party number 1605753, but party number 32522 is attached with this customer and no customer is there for party number 1605753.
What should be done in this case to submit debrief lines with no error. Find attached screenshots for this.
I have tried by entering party number 1605753 in the customer standard form, but no result came for this.
SR has been created with this party number only, maybe this was attached with customer earlier.
What can be done now?

I am using weblogic deployment APIs to distribute my war file on weblogic 10.3.2 but it gives the following error on distribute

The DTD used in "web.xml" should not cause any issue ...though it's the OLD "web.xml"...Please try to run the Following command to Generate the New Deployment Descriptors from the Existing Application:
Step1). Open a Command Window and Run "setWLSEnv.sh" or "setWLSEnv.cmd".
Step2). In the Command Prompt move to the Current Directory where you have placed your Application and then Run the Following Command
java weblogic.DDConverter -d NewDDs jamagent.war
Here Above Command Will read the "jamagent.war" War archive and then It will generate the New DDs in "NewDDs" directory...Which we need to replace with the OLD DDs present in our WebApplication..

Have you also upgraded your 9iAS instance to 1.0.2.2? The WPG_SESSION API error commonly appears when you are not using the lastest version of mod_plsql contained in 1.0.2.2.

An internal error occured while calling 'processDPCommandsEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)

Hi ALL,
I am facing a wierd issue while opening/refreshing/broadcasting a webi report.
The error message scrnshot:
This error is not throughout the reports, but for specific reports only, when checked the Bex query definition it works fine, but gives error for Webi reports.
Recently we had upgrade of BO 4.0 SP7 patch 9.
The reports are directly built on Bex queries, Bex queries contains simple Structures and few CKF's.
Would be thankful for any help recieved in resolving the above issue.

( An internal error occurred while calling the 'processDPCommands' API. (ERR_WIS_30270) due to some scenarios.
Scenario 1:
Error occurs when try to refresh a migrated Web Intelligence report in InfoView, after entering a date or dates for prompts.
Suggested Solution:
Modify problematic report in Webi.
Change the prompt definition to be a constant, run the report in Webi, and save it.
Change the prompt definition back to prompt with required date definition. Make sure you are using the correct date format! (The report prompt should tell you what the format is supposed to be.) Re-run the report in Webi, and save it.
Re-open the report in InfoView and refresh.
Scenario 2: Error occurs when trying to edit the properties of a Webi report containing merged dimensions.
Suggested Solution:
Remove the merged dimensions and then re-establish them.
Scenario 3: Error occurs when the InfoView report has been open and idle for a long time.
Suggested Solution:
This error can be an indication of a time-out, based on the server’s settings. Make sure you save your work often. You will need to close and re-open the report when you get this error, and you may have lost any unsaved changes.

Add attachments using workflow api throwing error

Unable to locate the LMS's API Implementation-Error in Content Player

when I am playing the content in content player of Authering environment we get the following error "Unable to locate the LMS's API Implementation" ,
Should any API be implemented explicitly?
How can we resolve this error?

Hi Shamila!
As I mentioned, you need to consult your content developer to debug this issue. In the course content(i.e. flash file) there are references to the SCORM API. These when imported in to AE loose the reference. For instance, if you have something like this .. parent.api.<some scrom function> and the parent (window or frame) has the SCORM API. This reference might be getting broken when the course package is imported in to AE. The content developer need to make changes in the code to ensure the reference to the API is changed.

Defaulting Rules using PL/SQL Api - ORA error

Iam using the PLSQL api for OM defaulting rules. Based on the item in the Sales order line, Line type has to be defaulted.
I have put debug messages and iam able to see successful execution and the required Line type value is returned. No exception is raised.
Error ORA-06502 PL/SQL numberic to value error. Character to number conversion error is thrown outside the custom package.
