I always get an error message in the middle of writing mail if I pause.

When I am writing an email in Mail, and I pause to think, I get an error message. I can click OK, and it will let me go on as I was, but I am unsure as to why this is happening. Please help.

While composing a message, in the background Mail temporarily saves the message in the account's Drafts mailbox.
What type of account is this - .Mac, IMAP or POP?
If a .Mac type or IMAP account, are you storing Drafts on the server and if so, any reason you need to do so?
If yes to the first and no to the second, deselect store Drafts on the server under the Mailbox Behaviors tab for the account preferences which should resolve it.
