Acrobat XI Pro is available for Mac and is an excellent tool for making PDFs. We can't say whether it will work with the scanner. It depends what drivers Epson provide.

That's not what Acrobat is for. It is for making PDFs. To make handwritten documents into Word documents, you'd just scan as graphics, and insert each graphic on a new page of the Word document. They will remain pictures of text, not something you can edit or copy/paste.

I tried to update my ipad air from IOS 7.0.4 to 7.1 on iTunes. I clicked download and update, it started to download normally but when download finished iTunes shows error that "The software for the iphone was corrupted during download".
How can I fix this error ?I had the same problem. In the end I downloaded it manually. Here's the steps assuming you are on a Mac and have an iPad Air (Wifi). If not you can find other restore links here.
In the terminal (it kept failing to download in Safari):

Can't install the software for the EPSON Epson Stylus Photo R2000 because it is not currently available from the Software Update server???
I am using mac osx 10.8 and now cant get print software for epson R2000 printer.After system update, my Epson Stylus SX 535WD was ''gone''. I tried in vain to add it as an IP printer (got the IP-address from the printer). The printer model is correctly recognized, software download starts -- but then the "software ... is not currently available..."
Resetting the printing system did not help. Downloading Epson Printer Drivers v2.15.1 from here
did not help either, downloading Epson Printer Drivers.
In the end, I re-installed the printer software from the original CDs. After that the printer showed up as a Bonjour Printer, and I could add it without problem.
But note: although the printer is installed now and working properly, I still get the old error message (...software ..not available...) if I try to add the printer as an IP printer !? -

Try force quitting the app...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down for a few seconds until a red slider appears, then press and hold the Home button until the app quits. -

I just had the same problem updating my iPhone 4. I found out by turning my Kaspersky virus protection OFF, then everything worked out, and I was able to update my phone.
Virus protection programs can cause alot of problems sometime, so it's worth a try if you haven't already tried. -

What did iTunes Support say when you contacted them ? If it's been more than 48 hours since you contacted them and you haven't had a reply then contact them again.
If you haven't yet contacted them, then to do so :

Why can't I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1? I have the sam problem just upgrading to iOs6.0.1. iTunes returns the following error:
Ive tried updating via my device (New iPad) and same problem.
I started downloading the update last week but stopped it for reasons I cannot remember. Now it seems that Ive clogged my system.
My iTunes is up to date. I have however not run any Quicktime or iCloud updates cause i do not use the software. Will it make a difference.
Also my Windows updates might be a bit outdated, say about a month or so.

Also sorry but while Im here I have another question. A while ago the brightness level of my iPad adjusted by itself (not Auto Adjust). Its like it dimmed via Auto Adjust and did not "un-dim" and now Im forced to run brightness at 100% and consequently is hard on battery life. Any ideas? -
How do I reload the software for the WIFI on my TX
My TX crashed. I had to delete the full PalmOne from the PC. Reload and got the TX back with a sync, except for the web. Every time I go to the web, the TX crashes and does a full reboot. Can I download the software for the WIFI into the PC, and at the next sync it will correct itself? He typed hopefully.....

Post relates to: Palm TXA Hard Reset will restore your device to the "out of the box" condition. The Wifi should be good as new. Don't HotSync yet!
If you've installed bad software that scrambled the Wifi, it most likely has been backed up onto your computer. When you HotSync, you reinstall the problem again!
In short:
- hard reset
- locate backup folder under palm desktop folder tree
- rename to backup_old
- sync, select old id. This will bring back PIMs (Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Memos) but no settings nor programs
- reinstall applications one by one AFTER making sure they are compatible with the target device.

Everytime i connect to itunes and try to update the IOS to IOS 5,
Get pop up box after agreeing to terms and conditions stating the below,
The Software for the iPhone was corrupted during download.
Disconnect and reconnect, then try again. Make sure your network settings are correct and your connection is active, or try again later.

It downloaded Safari 5.1.1 to my macbookpro but I hate it (no back button and keeps on crashing) - I'm on Snow Leopard - the initial message is that it will take 10 hours to download. I may try at work where they have a faster connection.
