I am having a problem when I try to select a photo or itunes song in Imovie or other programs. I get a window with grey lettering that says: "Open Itunes to populate this list" or "Open iphoto to see photos from your iPhoto library in this list. I have tried relaunching programs and nothing appears. Seemed to start happening a while back after one of my system upgrades.
After a a lengthy conversation with Apple Tech. ($20), my problem seems to be solves. The Iphoto problem solved by trashing the plist file. The Itunes was more involved. We had to create a new Itunes folder and import the files into the new folder; and then import the playlists.

It would appear that you are destined for the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum since your question is related to Photoshop Elements and not Premiere Elements which is the focus program where you have posted.
But, while the arrangements are being made, here are a few things for you to think about if you have not already
1. Reset Tools - Select Brush Tool, then
2. Delete Settings File
Go to Full Editor/Edit Menu/Preferences/General and click on the option "Reset Preferences on Next Launch".

My laptop was updating itunes and turned off and every since when i try to load itunes it brings up a window that says
The itunes library.itl fie cannot be found or created. The default location for this fie is in the itunes folder in the Music folder.
an I cant figure out what to do to get itunes to load so I can't use itunes at all which ***** since it also means I right now I can't add music to my ipod or apps or anything. So hopefully someone can tell me what happened and how to fix it or solve itHi pgarard1,

I downloaded the 09 version without deleting the 08 (didn't know), and now I am having some problems : when I open a document, it opens with 09, and then when I try to re-open it with 08 it is not possible ! I have a message saying tha "the fichier index xml is absent" (my computer is in French. I want to work with pages 08 until I get familiar with the 09 version. What shall I do ? What does this happen?
Once you open the files in the new version you can't open them in the old version. Pick one version to use (have to be 9 now as you already have converted files)

I have photoshop CS5 Extended but my motherboard flashed over so I have now purchased a new computer and of course wish to download another copy, I have my Serial No from my account and I have downloaded a new copy of the program, the problem comes when I try to install it as I cannot seem to find an unzip program that will do it as they are asking for file names etc which of course I don't have until I unpack it !! can anybody please advise what program will unzip this automatically bearing in mind there are two files with the download. Or is there a way that I can download without having to unzip?

I am having the problem when trying to take a panorama picture.
It may only take the first frame or doesn't even start at all when I press the shutter button.
even though when i hold the phone straight up and down, so that camera is at the top on the back and the home button is on the bottom on the front.
This problem is irritating me....?To take panorama
- ensure that the panorama option is on
- press the shutter button once
- you will see a line with an arrow
- move around in a circle ( I keep the camera steady and turn myself around in a circle)
- as you do this you will see the arrow moving across the screen as it captures pictures
- at the end of the capture, you will be able to see your panorama picture

When opening the Calendar app, I am greeted with a box that says "This calendar can not be refreshed," and after clicking ok there is another box saying "The server responded with an error." How do I get rid of this. The calendar functions all right, but just have to close both of those boxes after doing any action in the calendar app.
Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved. Back up all databefore making any changes.
Step 1
From the Calendar menu bar, select
Calendar ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts
Choose the affected account from the list on the left and uncheck the box marked
Enable this account
Then check the box again. Test.
Step 2
Make a note of the account settings, then delete the account and add it back with the same settings.
Step 3
If you can't add the account, the settings may be invalid. Verify them. How you do that depends on what kind of account it is. If it's a Google calendar and you've activated 2-step verification, you need to generate an application-specific password in your Google account and enter it in place of your old password.
Step 4
Quit Calendar. Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Calendars/Calendar Cache
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a file named "Calendar Cache" selected.
Move the selected file to the Trash. There may be one or two other files in the same folder with names that begin in "Calendar Cache". If so, delete those files too.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return. -

A 2003 iMac cannot support Snow Leopard 10.6; you'd need an Intel processor and that cannot be retrofitted to your Mac. What does "About this Mac" in your Apple menu say for your processor speed? What does it say about how much RAM you have?
If the processor is 1ghz or faster, you can run OS 10.5; otherwise, you are maxed out at 10.4.11.
Also, are you running any commercial ("pay for") anti-virus or security software? They are notorious for slowing most Macs to a fraction of their speed potential.
A too-full hard drive can drag down performance, especially if you don't have a lot of physical RAM installed. If you single-click your hard drive icon and then do command i, you'll see the disk usage. Looks like this:
The value for "Used" should be no more than about 90 percent of "Capacity." In the example image, that drive has about 34 percent of its space used and 66 percent free--more than enough. Please post what you see for your Capacity and Used numbers
There are a few more things we might check but this is a good start.

Hello, I'm using a PAP2T and I'm having a problem when I dial into a menue, I can dial perfeclty but when I dial into a menu my phone will not send the digits pressed. In other words press 1 for so and 2 for so, I can press either and nothing happens. Recently I rebooted my PAP2T and since then I can't figure out what the problem is. Can anyone help. Thanks.

I recently had to swap out my iphone 4s and I am having problems restoring photos and videos from icloud. When I restored my phone from icloud, half of my pics and videos have been deleted, the pics that were restored on my phone are very blurry, and the videos won't play. I get a message on my phone that says " the URL you are requesting is not found on this server". I have erased and reset my phone twice, but every time I do it, more pics and videos are deleted. I have backed up to icloud and iphoto, however, some of the pics are no longer on iphoto either. Is there someway to get the videos to play on my phone again? Make the photos not as blurry as they are now and to restore the pics and videos that have been lost? I really would love to have them back, this phone is supposed to be the best and right now it doesn't seem to be. Please help if you can.
I too have noticed that once i restored from iCloud. Pictures blurry and videos wont play!

Problem when I try to download the IOS4 for my iPod Touch 2G

I am from Bella Vista, Buenos Aires, Argentina and I have the following problem:
I have an iPod Touch 2G, I installed the lastestversion of iTunes and every time i connect my device to my pc via usb, iTunes opens and a window apears telling to me that I can update it to IOS 4.0. I clic on Only Download (I want to download the new firmware and update later).
The download starts correctly, but in the middle of the download a error message appears. The window says that a problem occurred with the download, try again later. Error number: 9006 (Unknown).
Questions:
a)- if this error occurs in the middle of the download... Why does not iTunes prompt me an option to continue the current download when I try to do it the next time? (I have to start a new download again when I try to download the firmware again. The firmware size is 300 mb. The error window only shows me an OK button and the transfer is interrupted. When I try to download the firmware again, the download should continue from the part where was interrupted, no start all again. Apple should fix this issue). I have to tell you that I tried several times downloading the firmware and I always got this error window and I really HATE it. Please, gime me a solution for my problem and try to fix the issue that I showed above. (When I'm downloading a firmware version from iTunes and the download is interrupted by a "X" problem or error, when I try to download it again, the download should continue from the part where it was interrupted, no start all again). I will be hoping for a good solution. Thanks and I have to tell you that you manufacture very amazing products. Ipod Touch, one of my favourite Apple's products. If an error occurs with the download and we want to try again, the download MUST continue from the part where was interrupted, no start all again. We have to protest for it. Please, Apple Inc, try to fix it. It's very easy to do. If I am downloading a firmware version from iTunes and an error occurs with the download , you should put a button that reads "Continue the download from the interrupted part", no only a "OK" button that finishes the download and I have to start all again when I want to retry. Solve it, please. -
I have a MacBook Pro and have problems using my Facetime. Last time I used it without problems. Now I am trying to use it, and it is asking that I enter my Apple ID. Hi, this is my first post, and I hope you can help me with this problem...Im using cameraUI.launch for open the camera app and take a picture without problems, this works fine, but when I try to open gallery from iPad using browseForImage this open a little window to select a folder rigth? but when I try to select any folder this cancel all operation and I cant upload any picture from my gallery..please help,,,Im working with FB 4.7 , apache 4.14 and adobe Air 16.0.0.272, on Android devices and iPhones I dont have this problem just on iPad.

cameraRoll.browseForImage();I have te same unfortunate problem. Only happens in iPad. cameraRoll.browseForImage() opens a new window but wherever I touch (on folders, or anywhere on the window or out of the window) it dispatches a Cancel event and closes window.
I tried to dispatch flash.events.Event.DEACTIVATE, from nativeStage and from cameraRoll, before and after calling cameraRoll.browseForImage() , but still it was behaving same as above.
I tried setting displayState as:

But no help neither.
It doesn't show any error, I don't have any other solutions to come up with. I feel that somehow I need to invoke application to deactivate, to let my touches focus on CameraRoll window, but I don't know how to do this actually (I tried to dispatch DEACTIVATE event from various sources but I dont believe it is an effective way of doing it).
I use AIR 16.0 with Starling, test on iOS 8.1. -
