I am not able to access the sharepoint:80 site using the local IP address.
I am able to access the Central administration using the Local LAN IP address and the port number, but, I am not able to access the sharepoint:80 site using the same local IP address without the port for the central administration. I tried adding
the local IP address in the Alternative Access Mapping to no avail. Any ideas, where I should look, is much appreciated.

Only able to access MBAM Helpdesk site using FQDN
I have an SCCM integrated MBAM setup using MBAM 2.5 on a Server 2012 R2 box. Everything is working fine except I have to use the FQDN in the URL to get to the Helpdesk site. The SPNs and delegation were set up for both FQ and host name. What staggeringly
obvious thing have I missed?I only get the error using the host name, it worked fine when I was using the FQDN.
The SPNs were set to the service account for the app pool and both the Host name and FQDN were set and are listing properly when I just checked with SetSPN -L
Just to let you know, if you don't hear back from me over the next week, it's because I'm going on leave at the end of today, but I'll be checking back once I'm back in the office. Thanks for the help so far. -
The apple id I used to set up my ipad no longer exists and it is the same id for icloud and itunes. I have changed my apple id but can not access my icloud account to change the id. I am hung up on "verifying" and have tried everything. It does not send any emails verification even though it says it has sent it. I have trie the security questions and it says wrong birthdate but it is not the wrong birthdate. I can not delete the account without a password and when I enter the password that was originally with that id it says wrong password. As a result I am not able to update twitter, facebook, etc and basically unable to do anything until I can delete and reestablish this icloud account.

please try if it's the same when you launch firefox in safemode once (then it might be an issue with an extension hiding this setting) or else try a reset of firefox.

I think the SAPSSLA. pse" not found, is not the problem as the parameter icm/HTTPS/verify_ client = 0 is set, it means that no ssl certifiacts are required.
problem is coming when the system is being accessed from externally using other secure domain name.
the system is being accessed ok from web urs which is internal, but not external.
for example in strust tcode the domain name is *abc.com, which is running fine when accessing the system internally.
but when the user is accessing this sytem from other secure login from *xyz.com, which is also the same companys domain, then the user not able to login, its showing errir. -
Not able to access secure web sites
I have a satelite modem that connects via WAN port to my Airport Extreme which then is connected via LAN port to Netgear ethernet card on my PC. After just getting the broadband last week, I noticed that I cannot access certain secure sites such as my bank or american express site on my PC but I can do it via wireless from my PowerBook G4. When I bypass the Airport extreme and connect the modem directly to the PC ethernet card, I can then acess the secure sites on my PC.
Can some please help to solve this so that I can acess the secure sites on my PC as well when using the Airport Extreme?
After taking to tech supprot at the Hughes.net they say that the router is somehow blocking the sites into the PC- something about a MTU or something like that?

My knowlede of computers in very shameful. I am not aware of any software on the PC that has the wireless port more restricted. All I have is the AVG free Anit-virus and the Free Microsoft Fire Wall installed.
If it is a software blocking the ports; how can find out which one it is and what can be done to fix it.
Are there some settings on the AEBS that can be adjusted for it to communicate better with the PC to all the sites to pass through.
I did find some thing on the appple web site about restricted website but I don't understand what it means and wether it really applies to my situation. See below:
Restricted address ranges
Using AirPort Admin Utility or AirPort Utility, check the "Public" or "WAN" IP address. If this address starts with a "10" or "192", your ISP is using restricted address ranges. This may affect the ability of the base station to share the Internet connection among computers. If you have difficulty connecting to some websites when the base station has a public IP address beginning with 10 or 192, use AirPort Admin Utility or AirPort Utility to turn off connection sharing for the base station. Only one computer will be able to connect through the base station. If you have a broadband modem, you may need to unplug its power supply for a few seconds to reset it. If that resolves your issue, contact your Internet service provider. In this configuration the base station is serving as a wireless bridge between your computer and the ISP, rather than as a wireless router. To connect more than one computer, your ISP would need to assign additional IP addresses to your account.

Not able to create a database link using the database gateway of oracle 11g

While trying to create a database link to SQL server from Oracle ,using the database gateway provided with 11g, i am getting the following error while making use of it in selecting columns from tables :

Is there any issue with the set or definition that I get the above error?What is the version of the Oracle database in which you have specified/and use the database link?
If it is for example 10.2.0.3.0 you need to apply the mandatory patch for RDBMS bug 5965763 first before being able to use an 11g gateway. Have a look at MetaLink note 457808.1 for details about this patch.

How to access a sharepoint site via the REST API in Python?
I have the following site:

When I access this from the browser, it prompts me for the username and password and then works fine. However I am trying to do the same using the REST API in Python. I am using the requests library, and this is what I have done:

We cannot only access Microsoft Websites through ISA 2006 on web proxy clients and even on ISA itself. We disabled all the rules but still cannot access. ISA server cannot access Microsoft websites even if we use direct connection to internet without using
proxy.

Please make sure that those websites are not added

I have a user who is a Sharepoint site owner (of the site in question) who just received a new machine, but every time she opens a document from our SharePoint site and then tries the "Save As.." option it hangs trying to contact the sharepoint
site. The specific message is "Contacting: (insert sharepoint site). Press ESC to cancel."
Sometimes when you choose ESC it allows you to save do what Save As should have done, but other times it will hang at Not Responding and freeze the application. I have tried repairing Office reloading IE and even gave the user a new profile, but nothing
has fixed it.
She can do this without any issue on other machines and I have found that even when I log on with my administrative privelidges I have the same issue. I have one co-worker who was able to get things to function normally however which makes this even
more frustrating.

Disable the component of Microsoft Sharepoint Foundation Support via Add/Remove features in Control Panel.

Not able to access desktop version of Yahoo email ...
I have been trying to access Yahoo email thru the Browser on the Lumia 800 phone. Every time I access the www.mail.yahoo.com website and enter my login name and password and submit, I repeatedly get the same page again and again which asks me to verify my password. There seems to be a software error in the Lumia 800. I have contacted the Nokia helpline which was unhelpful as usual. This time, they informed me that this error IS possible while accessing Yahoo email thru the browser and that no solution is possible. The only suggestion they had was to use the synchronization method to access the Yahoo mailbox - but this solution is not feasible for either accessing the older emails and or for sending file attachments.

I was able to access my Yahoo account using the desktop version of their service, the only error message I got was that the screen size was smaller than they recommend, but I still got through to the mailbox. So, check your browser settings, especially that you allow cookies on your phone and that your preferred website version is desktop. Also, delete your browsing history in case some old cookies are causing trouble.
As for the disadvantages of using the synchronisation method, it is only possible to add attachments in the synchronisation method as IE9 does not allow you to upload files (thus add attachments via the web interface). When you set up the synchronisation, you can set Download email from to any time, which should fetch most of the emails from your mailbox.

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you opened a SharePoint site from the report builder to save the report.
SSRS does not support anonymous access. You can disable anonymous access or extend the Web Application into another zone that does not have anonymous access enabled.
For disabling anonymous access, please go to SharePoint Central Administration->Manage web applications, select the web application that you used, and click Authentication Providers->Default, unselect ‘Enable anonymous access’, click Save.
