I am trying to inport my efax number and it keeps failing what next

I just bought the new printer that has efax built into it. HP Photosmart 7510 e-all-in-one C311e, I have Windows 7 64-bit, I have a efax number already but the printer will not connect to the web server. I have also tried to in port the number and it keeps failing. my efax number is 1-408-762-2517. what next?
