I am trying to to set up my iMessage and when I get to the screen with my email, it goes back to the previous page. Help please.
Can someone please just help me? I just got a new iPod touch and all I wanna do is use the messaging and I can. I tried turning te thing off then back on and it didn't work. Help!?

Your Device is in Recovery Mode and needs to be connected to the Computer you Usually Sync with.
Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...

Want to play tv shows purchased on iPad on Apple tv. When I touch icon for apple tv and choose "apple tv" it asks for an apple tv password. We have never set up any password and can't get past this screen. Does anyone know how to find this password?
You can remove the Airplay password from the Settings menu on your AppleTV.

I have tried the following:
I resetted my phone. Still doesn't work.
My iCloud works. So there's no problem with my apple ID.
My sms and text features work. It's green and not blue.
I have iOS 7.0.4 and I have been informed my software is up to date.
I recently went into apple to get my phone replaced set up my icloud from previous phone absolutely fine the only thing that I can't set up is the iMessage and FaceTime I've tried everythingsame thing is happening to me. each time i tried activating imessage it would display the error message. i contacted apple support and IMed them. One thing that they said was to got to settigns and "reset all settings". no data from your phone should be lost (I'm quite sure it even tells you this when you press the button). It will then say "waiting for activation" and then they said give it 24 hours, leaving the phone on, to see if it works. since i reset it it now says "waiting for activation" but has not yet activated.

It's a network issue, not an account balance issue. Troubleshoot your network or just restart your iPod and/or router, try connecting to the Store a bit later, or try the download in iTunes on your computer and then sync the purchase to your device.

Right click on your desktop screen and select "Screen Resolution"

Now Connect your projector and make sure that the display is now on your projector.
under Display: Set it to your projector
-Change the Orientation: to Landscape View then hit Apply.

Have just tried to open iTunes, and I get a blank window (no dialogue, just a blank window) with an OK button. When I press OK, it closes down (not having opened anything) and shuts down. I've tried opening while holding down the option key, as I would to open with a new iTunes folder, and I"m getting the same empty window with an OK. Very frustrating, has anyone seen this, and can anyone help? Thanks in advance, Kate
so, I called a friend who's more experienced than I am. He walked me through some steps, checking iTunes and we got the same dialogue -free window with the OK button. We then uninstalled iTunes, downloaded it afresh, and it opened with no problems. Seems to all be there, music, tv, etc. Not sure what the issue was, but it has stopped this problem.

I recently purchased a tv episode from ITunes. It shows that it has downloaded. When I press play it starts to load then immediately returns to the episode page. I have tried rebooting several times.
Basics from the manual are restrt, reset, restore.

I did the back up as instructed... Installed a larger hard drive and followed the restore instructions... Now I get a white screen with a folder icon and blinking question mark. When trying to set startup with new drive I get a bless tool error... Help!!
If you have installed a new hard drive , you will need to have formatted it in Disk Utility correctly. This may explain your problem.
Boot into your 10.6 Install disk again at the top menubar > Utilities > select Disk utility and in there select your new hard drive, and select the tab Erase and choose to make the format as Mac OS Extended Journaled. When that is finished look in the main window to make sure that the partition map scheme says GUID Partition Table.
Now go to the Restore tab and reinstall from your backup. -
i've jail break Iphone 3GS. i tried to restore setting (erasing all data and media) without connecting to computer/itunes. When it starts it freezes by showing apple logo only. what is the solution. please help me out. Here i don't have iphone service center too.

I am trying to install itunes for my mobile, and I keep getting the message "You do not have administrator rights, please contact the system administrator to preform an update." I have it set as adminstrator as the user. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate. Help please?
Thanks, but I've done that several times & it still says I need administraive privileges. I had itunes installed with no problems until I did the latest update. After that it just disappeared, so I tried reinstalling. Now I can't sync my phone. This is so frustrating!

I am trying to set up a mail account but I get a warning that my password cannot be sent securely to the server. How do I correct this so that I can set up my email account?
1. If you haven't tried this already, just delete the user account entirely, and then try setting it up again.
2. To find the permissions file:
a. hold down the option key
b. go to the Go menu in the finder
c. scroll down to Library and open it
d. in Library, go to Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Preferences
e. drag it to the trash and restart.
3. if that doesn't work, go to Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access. In the Keychain Access menu, do Keychain First Aid, and repair.
This should keep you busy for a while. -
I have trial version of Hulu. Tried to set no renewal option and will not come up on screen after clicking renewal options or box with subscription price.

If you get an error that says can't backup, try moving the existing backup file to a safe location and thry again. again. You can find the location of the backup file here:
