does anyone have any ideas how to get it to work ????

Please help my iphone got wet and i dont know what to do. its sitting in rice right now but idk if its broken or not becuse i mad a call off of it and i tried turning it off but it wouldnt turn off. it would turn black then the apple sign would come back on. so i just left it in the rice over night. i woke up to my alarm an it had ben going off for probably 30 min. it finally died. what do i do? should i continue o wait and let it sit in rice or should i try to use it.
Let it sit, my iPhone got water damage, and it costs $200 to get a refurbished one (4S), so that's an option. There is no harm in letting it sit in rice though.

i cant imagine that we are facing this kind of issues with Apple, it is the 2nd time i am writing to you with no reply. i bought my iPhone 6 from Dubai on March first then it stopped working on March 12th, i gave it to you authorized re-seller here in Egypt and they replaced it in 24 days ... after another 6 days the new phone ALSO STOPPED working, i went back to them they said sorry we will replace it again.
i really cant imagine that i paid more than US$850 2 months ago and until now i didn't use the mobile for more that 2 weeks.

Yes, but you will be using it in China with the international roaming feature.
There are no unlocked iPhone 5's being sold in the US at present so you can't use it with a local nano sim card. There will also be LTE frequency compatibility issues too. -

ThanksWithout contract is not the same as unlocked. The update to iOS 7 relocked
the iPhone to the wireless carrier to which it was originally locked. You must
contact that wireless carrier to see if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
If you used jailbreak or other hack to unlock the iPhone initially, the method
used may prevent a legitimate unlock from succeeding and may render your
iPhone unuseable. -

when you start using iCloud on any iOS device and enable find my iPhone, this prevents a new user from using it, and also prevents anyone from using the phone
as it is locked to previous owners account ,this is also the case if when a phone is lost or stolen.
the only way around this is to have the previous owner reset their apple id by going to @ applied.apple.com
if they are unable to do this, then the only other way around this is to have the previous owner get a copy of their original receipt and call apple support who can then lift this lock if they get a copy of the receipt
unfortunately there is no quick fix -> the below link explains what you should do before you sell or give away an iPhone

and restore my iphone .. Now do not be in use for not having ID and password ... Owner apple owner just gave me a serial number how do I want to continue to use this ... Their telephone help me: (I am having same problem . i can not use the phone. my Carrier ROGERS checked the phone its not stolen or lost phone but after restoring always ask for apple ID of previous owner and seller is not responding to any mails or phone if some one can help me out than it will be great.

I bought an iPhone 5 from the Apple store with a new Sprint contract in Sept. 2012. I would like to know if I port my number to T-mobile and pay off my Early Termination fee with Sprint, will my iPhone 5 will be unlocked to use with T-mobile network?
As Ethmoid says, it is still a CDMA phone as I told you earlier, and it will not work with t-mobile. Even if Sprint unlocked the phone, it would only unlock the GSM side for international use. They will not unlock the GSM side for domestic use in the US.

The phone looked great with no problems and I even got the box with the accesories, so I knew it was his... I then did the reset on the phone (erase all data... from settings) and it went through and activated and everything was good... I used the phone for about a month with no problems at all, even had my apple ID in the icloud and everything... well ios 7.0.6 came out and I used my computer to restore the phone, because I feel that the cord and computer gives it a better restore, it did great no problems, and when it went to the part where I went to activate the phone, I get a enter your apple id and password to complete activation... Wait... why is this up i thought, I thought I did everything like I suppose to to succesfully switch it to me, the new owner... but now its asking for some C******@yahoo.com.... I only have @gmail.com emails and none start with a C... The guy sold me the phone because he was switching to Verizon, and I tried to call him, and now the number is disconnected... I guess he switched to Verizon with a new number... Now im stuck with a paperweight that costed me $200.00... What can I do at this point... Please help me...
