I bought it but I can't use it - switching to Bluebeam

I just spent 2 hours on hold with adobe support to get my old computer de-activated (since the de-activate button in the menu is greyed out???) so I could install it on my new computer. Bad enough, but I had to listen to unbearable eardrum shattering shrill static filled on hold elevator music the whole time. The first number I called (I got it right off of the US version of adobe.com) connected me with an english speaking person who transfered me to my first hour of on hold. When I hung up and dialed the exact same number the only english the guy on the other end knew was "We only speak Portugese at this number". Go figure. So I tried the customer support number and after another hour of unbearable eardrum shattering shrill static filled on hold elevator music I hung up and bought Bluebeam.
All of this so that I could use a product that I paid good money for.
BTW Bluebeam is a vastly superior product with way more markup tools and a version specifically design for Cad users. Also, the installation file for Bluebeam is 65,344 KB while Acrobat Pro 8 is 327,740 KB. I'm just sayin', maybe that code is a little bloated. Maybe that is why it crashes so much, I don't know.
I wouldn't buy another Adobe product if my life depended on it. I swear the Adobe corporation couldn't be more screwed up if the Obama administration were managing them.

If you would trouble activating your copy of Acrobat on the new computer, the software would give you a special activation hotline that would help you with your problem. Part of the problem was that you called the wrong phone number. You do have two activations by default and might have had no problem activating the software on the new machine.
Everyone here will agree that Adobe CS and TS is not what it used to be. If you would like to register a compaint with the service you had the best forum to do so is:
