I can't access my old computers backups..

I recently purchased a Mac Mini and used migration assistant to migrate all my files from a time machine backup associated with my older macbook pro. The migration went smoothly but now when I try to use time machine to access some older files it only displays the last few backups up the mac mini. When I open Finder/time machine and look at the sparse bundles there are two (1 for mac mini 10.8 and 1 for macbook 10.6). I tried browsing other backup disks from the time machine menu bar but it sill does not let me access any older backups. I know that the time machine has backups as old as a few years ago. I want to make sure there is nothing I need from them before I restore the time capsule to its factory settings. How do I access the older backups?

Yes, you need to do that. Then you can see or restore the backup, direct to a USB drive plugged into your computer.. just restore to a different location. Pictures stored in a iphoto library have to be restored before you can see them.. you cannot open pictures individually direct from the TM backup.. or not any more, depending on the version of iphoto you were using. He covers iphoto in particular.. but you should also know.. once you delete a file from the Mac TM will delete that file also from the backup.. the actual time period is not exact but the longer the file existed in the Mac usually the longer the file is stored in the backup.. but it will eventually be deleted. TM is not a store for old files you have deleted from the computer.
The easiest way IMHO to achieve what you want is to restore the whole backup to a USB drive.. 500GB or 1TB are $50 around about.. Then you can erase the TC disk and start over.
You can also directly archive the TC to a USB drive plugged into it. Although this is much less useful as the files are still wrapped up in the TM sparsebundle.
I would also note.. a Gen1 or early Gen2 TC (they are the only ones with 500GB drives).. is on a heart and kidney machine, and the days are ticking down. It is not going to be a reliable store for even your backups for much longer.
Backup for new mini is easy.. get a USB3 drive and use that. TM will be faster and more reliable. The backup is cheaper and easier to handle on external drive.

The people at the sprint store where I made my trade were supposed to transfer everything over from my old iPad to the new Mini once they backed up the old device to iCloud. Well, long story short, none of the data ever got transferred to the new iPad, but it all got backed to iCloud, eating up all my storage space. Here I am almost 2 years later, and I've never been able to back-up my iPad mini. What's worse, My iPhone 4 wasn't backed up that whole time, and now I can't back-up my data from my new iPhone 6 Plus to iCloud either. Trying to find creative ways to store and save my information and data between all my devices is getting to be ridiculous. I don't want to upgrade my storage space though...just want to clear out a great deal of what is already being stored. How can I access this old data to clear it out?

The only way to access data from an iCloud backup is to restore it to your device. You could, for example, back up your iPad mini to your computer using iTunes (by connecting it, opening iTunes, then going to File>Devices>Back Up and choosing to back up apps and transfer purchases when prompted), then erase it and restore the old iPad backup (as explained here: iCloud: Restore or set up your iOS device from iCloud), save any recovered data you want to keep, then restore your iTunes backup back to your iPad mini (by connecting it to your computer, opening iTunes, then going to File>Devices>Restore from Backup).
Once you're done with the old backup, delete it from your account to free up the space.

I did a factory restore and then restored it with iCloud back-up. I have been using lots of Apple products and i have used three different email adresses. Almost all apps restored perfectly but everytime i try to play a song in the Music app, i asks me for a Apple-ID i had no idea i have used.
Hence:
I lost my password for my original iTunes account
I can't recover it because the email address it is registered under is not longer valid
How can I access my old account?
Can't find a place to change the email address to my new one without the password which I no longer remember.
There is no way to just erase Apple-ID's on my device either.
What to do? Should i ju give up and start from scratch and delete 2 years of stuf?

If you can remember the answers to the security questions when you set up that account - I think that you can reset the password without needing email authentication. You can try it here. Read it and see if it's possible. But if you can't remember the answers to the questions it will not work.

If you have purchases on your iPod Shuffle that you want to sync back to iTunes, but are under the Apple ID you no longer have access to, you'll need to reset that account information. You can use this link to reset your password.

If that doesn' work or help, you'll need to contact iTunes support and have them walk you through the process of resetting the older account information. Once you know the email and password again, you can authorize your new computer and transfer any purchases from this account back to iTunes.
For all non-iTunes purchased content, you'll need to the assistance of some sort of third party software that is not supported by Apple. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

Do the following:
rename the old library to something other that iPhoto Library.
copy the library to the Pictures folder on your new laptop.
launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and select the old library to open it and convert it to the newer version.
Note: if the older version of iPhoto was iPhoto 7 (08) or earlier you'll need to download and run the iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1 on it before opening with iPhoto on your new laptop.
If you want to merge the two libraries into one library and keep the edited versions, keywords, titles, etc. you'll need to use the paid version of iPhoto Library Manager to do the merging.

You don't need an AppleID to access an iTunes library. An iTunes library is stored on your computer.
Default location is /Music/iTunes/ folder.

I have had to create a new Apple ID due to my old email being locked/out of use. I can not access my old email/Apple Id to change icloud and imessage to my new Apple ID. Any ideas?

I can't access my old emails anymore.
I use to have Outlook Express and contacted Microsoft.
The old emails are still there but I can't access them. Microsoft support couldn't help me to get them back and told me to contact you.
Can you help me with getting my emails back. Is there some software I can use to retrieve them?

In iTunes, Click your name/email that is directly to the left of the search bar.
Click account info.
Sign in.
Click this button where the mouse is:
(the screenshot is from an older iTunes on windows, but it is the same on the new versions)
Done!
You can only use that button once per year, so try to remember to deauthorize computers before you get rid of them.

Im trying to merge everything over to a new ID. I can't access my old ID because I can't remember my password. I try to reset by security question, but it won't recognize my birthday! And it won't send me the reset through email...it says it is, but its not going to that email (I checked all folders). Its possible its going to an extremely old back up email that is deactivated. Anybody know what I should do?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
