Download VLC : http://www.videolan.org/
Use VLC - File menu - Streaming/Exporting Wizard
Choose 'Transcode/Save to file'; click Next
Choose 'Select a stream' & paste in the .m3u8 URL that you gave above ; click Next
De-select Transcode Video & Transcode Audio; clikc Next
Choose 'MPEG TS"; click Next
Choose a place to save the result, named something.ts; click Next
Click Finish
The Streaming/transcoding wizard should appear in VLC's playlist. Double-lcik it to start.
Wait until the progress bar has completed. Open the resulting file in Quicktime Player, from where you can easily trim & save as required.
**edit** you may not be able to save it after trimming, in which case use some other converter first.

Hello,
I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player : version
9,0,124,0 installed. When on YouTube, I can watch videos as normal,
but I'm unable to click in the upper right hand corner and
"Download This Video" to my hard drive. This option does NOT
appear, nor can I right click inside the screen and get a download
option menu. But I am able to do this with the Flash Player on my
other computer (I think maybe an earlier version of Flash Player?).
How can I download videos with this new version? Am I missing some
kind of needed software?
Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah its got to do with real media file types actually. Most
flash movies wont let you use the right mouse save as
function.

No, because iPads do not run Mac OS X. They run iOS.

If the app did not specifically indicate that it was available from the iTunes & App Stores then, as Diavonex indicated, you cannot download it.
The App Store has 2 free Heartmath apps for the iPad - Inner Balance, and HeartQuotes HD. You can click on your App Store icon and find them under Heartmath in the Categories search bar.

I tried to download video from RCA Small Wonder EZ201 to my new macbook pro. Macbook pro recognizes the device but then message appears that device was improperly ejected when it is still connected. How can I download these videos?

When I connect the RCA Small Wonder to my MacBook Pro, the device is recognized in finder as EZ201. I tried to copy the video files in the folder but within a minute or two, I receive a message that the disk was ejected improperly, even though the device is still connected. I was able to download the first few videos before it stopped working and was able to play them using Perian. However, when I tried to connect the device again, it froze my system and I had to force a shut down by turning the computer off. Why is the device initially recongized but then shows as improperly ejected when it is still connected? How can I download the videos if the MacBook Pro won't allow the device to stay connected?

This is the one that has the files for the backups procured by the Time Machine program. But it can't "connect"-- You 'll see int he sideways pic (sorry!) that the options STILL says "connecting"

Why does "Download this video" keep popping up when there isn't even a video on the page?

I just closed 3 tabs in a row and "Download this video" was on the screen even on the fourth tab until I moved the pointer down onto the page to close it manually, it went out before I got there. Sometimes I have to chase it until I can hit the "x", then it stays off for a while.

Sounds that you have an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Realplayer "Download this Video" doesn't work on the latest vesrion of Firefox

I upgraded Firefox from the latest to the latest. I have all the current flash plugins and reverted to RealPlayer 15 because I'd lost all my thumbnails in Windows explorer with RealPlayer 16.
Funny how RealPlayer 15 works fine with Internet Explorer and not Firefox. Everything worked very well up until this current cycle of continuous upgrades with FF and the addons. Two upgrades ago (on everything) everything worked perfectly. Now, everything is questionable.
Believe me, I have tried everything, every combination to fix this without something else going haywire and it can't be done at this point.
If I want to download vidoes in RealPlayer I use Internet Explorer 8, for everything esle I try to use Firefox, but quite frankly it's slower than Internet Explorer.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in Mac OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The Guest login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

noted that under IE realplayer plugin still works fine, button to 'download this video' comes on as before.....
from what I read retro install will pick up all your bookmarks etc. do no worries there

Sometimes this happens, because the camera is not properly charged. In that case connect the camera to a charger or use a card reader.

Can't play YouTube videos on Safari

Hi I can't play YouTube videos on Safari any more. I have noticed that I can play videos on Safari but not on YouTube. When atempting to watch a video on You Tube it won't finish loading. It appears to load at first evenutally stops before the video can play. I then receive the "Plug-in Failure" message.
I am using Safari 5.1.7 on Mac OS X 10.7.4.
I believe I am using the latest version of Abobe Flash Player, which I downloaded when I first noticed the problem.

Who is going to take ownership of "download this video" not working? Mozilla, Flash or Real???

Upgraded Mozilla Firefox to 3.6.4. Updated Adobe Flash to 10,1,53,64. Updated Real Player to 1.1.4. I am able to view videos but unable to see "Download this video" button on Youtube.
The download this video button will appear in IE but no longer in Mozilla Firefox.
There are lots of complaints/questions about this issue. Who is going to take control of this issue to resolve it? Is it Firefox's or Flashplayer's or Real's problem??? Some issues in this forum state that they have been resolved, but they have not.

Hmm. Mime type is correct, but if you used the new ffmpegx to
re-encode
Clown.flv, did you remember to upload the new file?
I ask because Clown.flv does not have the metadata that Flash
requires.
I ran it through the Windows only flvmdi program from
http://www.buraks.com/flvmdi/
and it works now.
I don't know Mac, but if you can run Windows programs on it
via Wine or
some other means, you may want to look into it. Or look for a
different
Flash Video encoder program altogether.
