I can't get my wlse to discover anything...
originally i had wlse 1.3.1 and 1220s, 340s, and 350s. i got the wlse to discover all of the ap's and i was a happy man.
now i have upgraded my 1220s to IOS. the 340s and 350s haven't changed. and i upgraded the wlse to 2.0. now i can't discover anything. i get snmp unreachable to everything i try as a seed device. i have set the snmp strings correctly.
what is going on?

It's in the on-line help. Misconfigured Devices group contains IOS APs that do not have an ISO view configured on them. You can create this from the device CLI or using WLSE. Doing this via CLI need the commands in the order listed:
snmp-server view iso iso included
snmp-server community view iso RO
snmp-server community RW
Devices that do not have an ISO view will be placed in the Misconfigured Devices system group after discovery and fault will be generated. The fault refers to a dot11mib problem.

Make sure you actually have a 2nd Generation Apple TV and that it's on the same Wi-Fi network as your iPad 2. Using your Apple TVs on screen menu, go to Settings > AirPlay and make sure that it's turned on.
On your iPad 2, double tap the Home Button to bring up the App Tray/Switcher. The screen should slide up and you will see some app icons there. Slide them to the right and you should see a Speaker icon, a brightness slider, some iPod music control buttons, and a button with a square and a triangle at the bottom. This button is the Airplay button. Tap on it.
You should see two choices. iPad and Apple TV. If you choose Apple TV, there is a switch that says mirroring. Slide the switch and your content on your iPad should now be mirrored on the TV through the Apple TV. (Some apps don't allow mirroring but most do.) -
Is there anything I can do on my own to get this fixed? I have tried shutting down and restarting and it does not help.

It is recommending backing up your entire system or have a current Time Machine Back up which includes your iPhoto
Then rebuild your iPhoto library as recommended:
hold the Command and Option keys down during the complete launch of iPhoto. -
My ios7 didn't upgrade all the way. Now I can't get online or do anything. It says I'm not connected to any server. I took it to my local Sprint store and they laughed at me and trhew it back at my telling me my iphone is now junk. Please can someone tell me what I need to do to get it working again? I reactivated an old phone so I have something to use but want the iphone working so I can go back to it.

I can't get my phone to sync anything.
In iTunes I have all my apps updated, I have over 7.7GB left of space, and I can't get my selected playlists, music or apps to sync. On my computer screen it shows that it should be syncing. Hoever, on my phone it is not adding anything. The updated apps are fine on my computer. My phone still says they need to be updated. It says it is syncing my music, shows that I am using up my phone's memory, but then when I go to play the music on my phone there is no music there. Any hwlp, suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Have you used this computer and only this computer to sync the iPhone previously?
Are you sure your Apple ID and password on your iPhone are the same as you're using on iTunes on your computer? Are you sure you have "authorized this computer" in iTunes for that Apple ID and password? -
I was able this morning to turn off my alarms and even download a few podcast. But after that I just can't get anything to happen. I've even connected it to my iTunes and still nothing. Has it died??
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Can't get "VCAST Apps" to load ANYTHING
I just activated my LG Revolution two days ago, and when I try to open "VCast Apps," I can't get it to load ANYTHING. It just keeps loading, but nothing happens. Is there a solution? Can I uninstall VCast Apps, and then reinstall?

It's definitely frustrating to not be able to access applications on your new phone.
Do you happen to get any type of error message when you try to load V Cast Apps?
Are you having problems loading any other applications on your Revolution?
Please follow the steps below
1. Press MENU> SETTINGS> APPLICATIONS> PLACE A CHECK BY UNKNOWN SOURCES.
2. Open browser and enter following address. http://mobile.vzw.com/VCASTApps3 It is case sensitive.
3 .Download the application and if asks to replace the application, then do so.
Once you go thru the set up it should start working again.

Can't get iPod Classic to do anything!
My iPod classic has always seemed to struggle with connecting to my computer/iTunes but I usually put that down to it being the computers fault. Occasionally my iPod would freeze up and the only way I knew how to fix it was to let it drain it's battery and then once recharged it would again. Just now it frooze again so I let the battery die out, but now when I'm trying to charge it or connect it to the computer, I'm just getting an error saying "www.apple.com/support/ipod" with a picture of a red cross. I tried looking on the help site but can't find anything to help me.
Can anyone help me? Why is it coming up with an error? Why does it keep freezing up? Why won't my computer or iTunes recognise it?

When I go to download and save a file with an .ashx extension, after downloading a pdf format file I accidentally clicked the "save all files of this type in this format." So now every .ashx download gets saved as a pdf, even though I have unclicked the "save all files of this type"...etc box, and actively choose a Word or PowerPoint or other format: they all get saved as pdfs and I can't open them! I tried going into the options menu and selecting "ask every time" for format of .ashx files but it has not helped. I have cleaning my cache and restrated my computer several times and it still refuses to download .ashx files as anything but pdf's. HELP!!!

Can't get the keys to run anything...
Yeah, so I've literally spent the past two days trying to figure out how to get the keys to make stuff move in my game. I've already gotten the computer players to move around, implemented a collision detection system of sorts, and written the methods that will facilitate movement in the main person when called.
Here's my problem. I've been looking at several tutorials, and I see two primary ways of doing this. One, key binding, which I've been persuing more heavily, apparently requires use of a component. As of yesterday I didn't know what a component was, and since I've discovered that this method, in fact, requires an object that is a JComponent, which I don' t have in my program (I have a JFrame, but that's just a component). I was considering just slapping some random one in there, but I don't know how to set the key reading thing to do stuff even when the component is not selected. And I also think it would be sort of stupid to put superfluous stuff like that in my program.
The other method had tons of parameters and I really had no idea where they would all come from.

Can't get Browser Lab to do anything!
When I try to access the Browser Lab (locally) I get a message that reads:
"To preview page in Browser Lab you need to create a site. Would you like to create one now?"
What have I missed?
This has been going on for 2 weeks. I stupidly answered yes once and had to recreate EVERYTHING on my local site. I can't find anything close to this in the forum.
I'm running DW CS5, on a MAC OS 10.6, I just updated the mac, dw, cs live, emptied my cache. . . . .When you get that message in DW, it means one of two things is going on:
You don't have any sites defined in DW, or
You have one or more sites defined but none of them are currently selected.
If you open the Site menu and choose Manage Sites, do you see a list of one or more defined sites? And if so, is the page you're trying to test saved under the root of one of those? If so, then you should be able to click on the site your page is stored in and click the Done button in the Manage Sites dialog to make that the active site. Once you do that, you should be able to click Preview (Local/Network) in our BrowserLab extension and see your page in BrowserLab.
If that doesn't work, does it work if you switch from "Local/Network" to "Server" and click the Preview button?

I am at a loss .... I can't get my printer to do anything
Here is the scoop:
I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8600. I purchased and installed it in February 2012. It worked fine (printer, scanner, copier) until about a week ago. I did all of the troubleshooting I can think of, plus sent data to HP website requesting help. After which I received a troubleshoot HP installation patch. I stepped through all 7 items on the patch today and still can't use my printer. I then deleted the printer setup and driver software - then reloading them but that did nothing. The printer can be seen on the wireless network and so can the laptop (same ip network) but I can't print or scan from the 8600. Key components:
HP Pavilion DV6 Notebook
HP OfficeJet Pro 8600
Windows 7 64bit
Verizon Fios
If anyone can help, I am open to suggestions.
MarybethUPDATE: I figured out the issue!!! There was a disconnect between the eprint account and the printer. On the printer side it showed an error connecting to the internet. The printer stated to update the firmware. I reset the printer to the factory default settings then reconnected the printer to the HP eprinting website. Everything is working fine now.
Just an FYI should anyone else run into a similar situation .... factory default settings is another option to consider.

A small screen tells me firefox was shutdown and windows was looking for a solution. I deleted Firefox and downloaded another Firefox program and installed it. The same thing happened. What do I do. Windows said it could be a DEP problem. I have no idea what that is. I can open Windows Explorer and use but I don't really like it. Help!!!

I can't get Xcode 4 to display anything in the console...help!
I'm running a simple "hello world" program just to test xcode 4, and when I build it, xcode says the build succeded but not a thing shows up in the debug console....it's throwing me for a loop because i've had no problems running xcode 4 on my work computer. Any ideas. Here's the code:

Is there a setting issue I'm missing or what. I even reinstalled lion, and xcode 4...Foothill1, would it be possible for us to get on the phone? Can't restore, can't power off, and pc can't detect iPad. Error code 3014 when trying to upgrade. Can't even restore to original settings. Opened Hosts files and I did not see 127....gs.apple.com, or other suggested files. Pls help.
Did you see the very end of this about not having enough space left on your computer specific to therror code 3014?
Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.
Error 3002: If you experience this error while updating an iPod touch (2nd generation) or iPhone 3G, please use the standard update or restore process in iTunes (click Update or Restore).
Error 3014 may indicate that you need to free up more disk space on the computer before trying to restore again.
