I can't get on. It keeps saying WWF needs an internet connection. Why does it constantly do this? I can gain access for days at a time and then it kind of freezes. What do I do.
I can't get my IPad to turn on. It keeps saying 'WWF needs a WiFi connection' and it keeps spinning. This happens frequently. If it sits for a day or two, with me doing nothing, it will eventually correct itself. Meanwhile, what can I do to fix this annoying problem? Thanks.

I had the same problem. My phone wasn't finding it so I tried plugging it into my laptop and it said I needed the latest iTunes which I already had.... I unplugged my phone from my laptop and did a soft reset to my phone (hold down the lock button and home button at the same time until your phone turns off) once it turns back on you should find the update... Click general... Software update. Worked for me!

I tried to update my phone last night. When I woke up, it said it needed to be connected to iTunes. I restored my phone and now it won't turn on and keeps saying it needs to be connected to iTunes.

HP laptop says "no bootable device" for weeks at a time and then fixes itself

I am a college student. I have an HP pavillion laptop that I boughtin 2009- I do not currently know the exact product name because the IT center of my school has it. It crashed in 2010 and was found to have come with a faulty hard drive, and the hard drive was replaced. Ever since then, once in a while it will get a blue screen (the same blue screen I got the first time it crashed) and then whenever I try to turn the computer on it says "No Bootable Device." It will give me this error message for days or weeks at a time, and then all of a sudden it will start working again without having lost any information.
I have brought it to the IT center at my school twice. The first time they gave it back and said there was nothing wrong with it. This time, I was very insistent that there was something wrong and explained the problem in detail. I got a call today and they told me that they ran tests on the hard drive, and it's working fine, and they cant do anything else. They also said they could try reformatting it if I bring in the discs that it came with, but my dad told me that means I will lose everything on my hard drive.
I'm hoping there will be a simple solution that I can do whenever I get this error message but I'm guessing there won't be. I apologize in advance because I really don't know much about computers so I may have trouble understanding computer jargon..

You are correct there is likely no magic bullet if you are getting "no bootable device" other than shutting it down and trying to boot again. A 2009 laptop is now 4 years old and that is about the expected life of a laptop although this one seems to have been snakebit from the start.
Ask the IT Center exactly how they tested the hard drive. I am suspecting you have one of the ill-fated dv6000 or dv9000 series models which have heat related issues and high failure rates, but won't know until you provide the model number. -

You don't. the ipad is not a backup/storage device. it simply mirrors the selected content of your computer. The sync is one way - computer to ipad. The only exception is itunes purchases.
Did you fail to maintain a backup copy of your computer?
If so, not good.
You may be able to purchase a third party program, not supported by Apple, to get the other music. -
Honestly i really wanna like apple but i keep having these horrible seemly unfixable problems. i have a life and rely on my phone for social activties, school work, my job and relationships so i need it to work 95% of the time but im always let down...
Make the time and take it to the Apple Store. Make an appointment first. Or you can call AppleCare and go for a mail in replacement.

If I attempt to send a link to someone from a site I am visiting, ff starts opening one new start window after another. So fast i can't get it stopped. Even going into taskmaster which I sometimes have to try 3 or 4 times, it is impossible to get them all stopped they just keep multiplying. Only logging off or a restart will fix the problem.

I have just transfered over a 1000 lbums from an external device which was in the Itunes format and they did have the cover artwork. The only cover art is for Itunes purchased albums ani suggestions.
Yes, that would have been the Apple Hardware Test. Extended version. Before even touching your wallet. And after making sure alll the goods were in the box, including the software licenses AND the OS install media (if not Lion-native).

You need to Delete more content from your Device...
Pictures... Video... Music take a lot of Space.
After you have Updated... Re-Sync what you want back.

I can't get the "repeat" option to show in some events, though it does appear in others. How can i get it to show when I need it? (I read two "soluntions" that supposedly worked, but neither worked for me.)

I can't say I've seen that behavior before. I' be curious to see a screen shot of it in the edit mode where you edit the fields.
Beyond that I'll offer generic troubleshooting steps:
Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Language & Text > Formats > Region. Region should be set to the country of your choice. Do not have it set to "Custom" as this can have unexpected results in the iCal window.
If that doesn't resolve the issue:
1. First make an iCal backup: Click on each calendar on the left hand side of iCal one at a time highlighting it's name and then going to File Export > Export and saving the resulting calendar file to a logical location for safekeeping.
2. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
3. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
--- NOTE: To get to "Home > Library" in Lion: Click anywhere on the desktop and then click on the "Go" menu at the top of the computer screen while holding down the "option" key on the keyboard. You will see "Library" in the menu.
4. Launch iCal and test.
If the issue persists:
1. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
2. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
--- NOTE: Removing these files may remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
3. Launch iCal and test.
