Your forums suck as much as your new client. Nothing works as it's supposed to. When you need help, it's nowhere to be found. Was looking for an email address or live chat to ask help with my problem but right now I can't even remember what the problem was... I'm so pissed at this thing you call "help" on your website. It might be worth reading if you haven't tried turning it off and on again. Other than that it's worthless.
So... after trying to find a proper answer to the problem I was having with Skype, I came here and tried replying to an "official post" about this version of Skype... No dice! "LOL YOU CAN'T REPLY TO AN OFFICIAL POST BUT YOU CAN START YOUR OWN, MMKAY?! =8-D"

I have what would probably be the same problem.  While I can read official threads just fine, the big green "Reply" button is greyed out.  Made a forum account just to post my suggestion, too. >.<  Anyways...
Could someone post this next bit in the "7.0 and your feedback on the new chat UI" thread for me, please, since it won't let me even make a reply there?
"I would suggest adding a toggle for Classic and Enhanced modes to the View menu.  Classic mode is the old interface, Enhanced is the new one.  Text formatting is available in both modes, and new features are added to both modes as they're introduced, in the style appropriate to the mode.  Enhanced mode keeps the new 'compact' settings, and allows you to play around with them more to further customise the interface, possibly even going as far as allowing you to rearrange each pane's features as you see fit.  Overall, enhanced is designed more for mobile and/or touchscreen systems (but gives you room to play around with the interface and customise it for any system), while Classic is intended for desktops & laptops."

  • Can't reply to the post about my not being able to reply

    I had a problem with the reply button not working after I tried to reply to a solution to an earlier posted question about Final Cut 7.
    I got an excellent reply from ChitlinsCC describing the problem with possible solutions, basically adding automatic reloading tabs to my browser, Safari or Firefox. Unfortunately the downloads led to deadends although I appreciated the description of the problem. I wanted to offer my reply, made within two minutes of receiving notification in my Mac Mail. Unfortunately there was no reply button when I clicked on the link to take me to the forum. However, I did log on to the forum all over again to reply to Chitlins only to discover that the reply button once again had no effect.
    Is this happening to anyone else or is this just a case of my astrological good will being mucked up by that spaceship that landed on the comet. :-)
    Any ideas about how to reply to a post?
    And in any case, this is my attempt to thank ChitlinsCC for the help even though the solution appears to be beyond the browser add-ons that didn't seem to work. :-)

    wasn't ME the thread was broken for, but the OP of this one (#2 continuation)
    broken = Cannot post - User ' ' is banned from posting. -- it was about asafhan (or whatever the name is)... remember, only broken for user 'CBFilms'
    I do not know what efforts CBFilms made to solve the issue, BUT it has happened to me as a replier on at least two others. It is clearly associated with the user AppleID.
    Another anomaly recently is 'disappearing posts' - one gets an email notice, navigates to reply, shows the post as "last post" at the top, but no post present. I have had this twice today. And yes, not being my first rodeo, I tried all clearing, restarting, etc. - still no joy. As a Guest, post is present, as ME, it is gone. The solution I found is to post any reply to any other post and voila!... missing post magically appears! I think the JiveCoders have fixed some things and inadvertently caused some new ones. As a coder from way back, it is not uncommon for that to happen.
    I, like bob, have come to the conclusion that we are stuck with a system so 'seasoned to Apple's taste' that it will never work completely right. JiveSoftware provides enterprise community solution to lots of big outfits, in a much more robust way (the way it was designed) - as we are not privy to their communities, we'll never be able to compare.

Now I downloaded the basic program and so I need the plugin for the Informix Dynamic Server. But when I click on the radio button to agree the terms ant then click on the link, I get a messagebox with the words, that I should accept the rules.

    Because a big problem ist, that the admin, which take charge of the server is in holiday at the moment and no other one from the company can help me.
    Now I copied the plugin for Informix 7 into the 'plugin' folder and so I can make a step forward to this other problem with the driver. Because when I want to type in the server data there is an other messagebox with the text 'No suitable driver' ... The second problem is, that I have to use the User "Informix" but I only know an indivudal created user and password. Is it possible to change the loginname?

    Although the top of the forum page on the right shows me as logged in, I can't reply.  The page doesn't seem to recognize that I'm logged in several lines further down on the left. See png:

    Clicking on this Login/Register option seems to have caused your server a problem.  It was reset during the download, and then gave me a not properly loaded page. This has happened a few times.

    Not sure what you might be seeing. The login in the uppper right corner of the page is for Adobe.com. You also need to be signed into Forums (upper left side, just below the black Forums Banner). I'll check on the insert image button. It should be active.

    Process MIGO w.r.t. return PO- Material document generated.
    Process: J1IS - excise invoice other movement create.
    --> Now I want to print the document --> I m trying with T-code J1IP --> entered all the required data --. Used out put type - J1I0
    But I am not getting the list of document for printing and even print is not coming.
    There is no print document getting for a printing.
    When I checked in an above said table (mentioned in question), I found that for transaction type OTHR, there is no number ranges defined for official document no.
    And because of this reason I m not getting any document in the print.
    Can you Pl extend Ur help and Pl suggest me where (path or transaction) the number ranges can be maintained for the official excise document No.

  • Can't reply to email in Webmail

    My host uses Webmail and I get domain email on it.  I can receive, delete and file but can't reply.  The windw seemingly opens but you can't move down text; return does nothing. I type text but nothing shows up.  This is causing headaches.  I have my domains/emails so a  regular email client can't handle the different From fieds. If I'm wrong and one does, please refer me to it.
    I'd love to be able to get all domain email in one place, then choose the return address for each reply.

    What account, IMAP/POP, etc? Without these details it is impossible to help.

    The line below is not that necessary in the order of priority, which for all intense and purposes is quite useless. I don't really care about how long ago something was posted or where it was posted but an indication to show 'updated' posts and by who is vital.

    Why do we even need 'Dreamweaver support forum'. We already know that's where we are! I guess a selection of posts from other forums may appear in a 'general' postings list somewhere, but who really cares - if I'm asking a question related to DW that's the forum I'm going to, not a general list as I don't care a monkey knackers what's been posted in Fireworks or InDesign or Illustrator. If I did I'd go to those forums.
    If you are tracking several postings it is going to become hugely annoying for both the person who has asked the question and the people helping the original poster as many replies will potentially go unnoticed and not resolved.
    And what's with the silly horizontal scroll bar being created for long lines of text? That's annoying too.
    Plenty of teething issue you need to get your head around over the next few weeks.

    I get way with just updating the reference image every time?  I have heard there is a Max number of times you can do this before you have to rebuild.

    Also will this apply to 8.1?

    When I reply to an email that was sent to multiple people, I want to be able to see the original email header that shows the date, time, everyone who received it, etc. In other words, I'd like to see the original header that way it shows when I forward an email.

    Could you try to edit the question information as you have displayed personal information such as email addresses. This is a google searchable webpage and so the whole world, including spammers can see the email addresses.
    If you use Reply or Reply all the info you describe is not inserted because the person(s) receiving it already know their own email address as they sent the email in the first place.
    If you use Forward then you are sending the info to another person. They of course will not have received any email, so will not know who has received it, hence the inclusion of email addresses.
    So it is all logical.
    i'll have a look to see what if anything can be changed.

    First off, Apple doesn't support downgrading and it can potentially brick your phone. With that being said, if you created a back up in iOS 7 Beta and are trying to restore it to iOS6, you wont be able to. You need to upgrade first then restore from your backup. Don't be suprised if it doesn't work. There is a very real possibilty you may have to start from scratch.

    No. Snow Leopard comes on a DVD which you can buy from the Apple Online store. However, I can't find a store for Russia. Do you have access to Amazon? They're available from there also (usually). Around €30, R1250.
