I cannot log onto one specific site, firefox says it has timed out. Happened after downloading forefox features.

This happened all of sudden, I can no longer log on to this site. all other are fine.
I have no problem reaching site from my cell phone or other pc's

Your above posted plugins list shows the Flash Player Shockwave Flash 10.0 r45 plugin, so Flash should be working.

"Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Try temporarily disabling your firewall and see if you are then able to access the iTunes store.

I keep getting a message that I have logged into the server maximum times or server has timed out

I had an upgrade to my system and it changed my logging into the server to every 10 minutes. Can you reset it on your end so I can use my email again. We fixed the logging into the server so that will not happen again. I cannot send or receive emails on Thunderbird and I also get a connection to server has timed out when I try to send an email. I can't download firefox. It keeps saying the session has timed out and that download failed?

when i click download it starts to download the file. But then when it hits 99% i get another box that says that it was unable to download Firefox 3.6 and the session has timed out. What is going on?

We want managing your media to be easy! It saddens me to hear that this is not occuring. Do you receive a specific error message when the browser times out? Have you tried using a different browser?

I cannot log into one web site on main computer.

I have a weird situation which the company that I'm working with can't provide an explanation.
I am trying to log into the following web page: http://www.methodintegration.com/solutionproviders
but it says that it doesn't recognize my username/password in Firefox, IE, Opera, and Chrome browsers.
However, in a virtual machine with Windows 7 32-bit (same OS as main computer), I am able to log in successfully. I have tons of programs on my main computer so I can't figure out which one is blocking it. I have Avast! antivirus on both machines, so I know this isn't causing the problem. I tried uninstalling Spybot on my main machine (since this is not on the virtual) and that didn't solve the problem. I also tried renaming the hosts file to hosts.old and I tried removing all the Spybot entries in the hosts file but this didn't solve the problem.
Is there any way to run a log or determine what protocol that web page is using that something else is trying to block? I have already tried removing all web browsing history, cookies, cache, etc. and it does not fix the problem. Could this be something that visiting the site for the first time was put in the registry with a different user name/password?

I don't have the firewall turned on for both machines; I only have a firewall through my router (which would affect all machines). I thought it might be caused by Spybot, but I uninstalled it and I still had a problem. Avast is installed on both machines, so this is not blocking it.

When in Facebook, I get a Mazola firefox window pop up and says it has timed out. I can browse fine. I can't look at my friends list while playing Cityville.

I'm using Win7 64, the latest Fire Fox upgrade, I can't find which version it is. And where did the refresh button go? Fire Fox was fine the way it was, now I have to waste time tweaking all this.

The refresh button is on the far right side of your address bar as you can see in the screenshot as for Facebook it appears to be a new problem (last few hours) and I will post a solution as soon as I find one.

My previous experience is that if you use a different log on name it is recorded and then you choose the correct one to use? But in this case I am given no choice

I registerd with another site and recieved an e-mail in which I had to click on web address to confirm registration and came up with an error message, tried a few times and same thing happened?? The webmaster of this site had no record of my registration details?
Finally I had a phone call from a company called NERD-I.com
offering to solve various computor problems at a fee. I did not take up their offer, but hope they do not have anything to do with my current problems??

However I need the lower case version for some sites and the upper case version for the site in question? To make matters worse this site does not allow you to change your log on name unless it is in the form of an e-mail address
So what I need is Kostas for this site and kostas saved for other sites and allow me to choose which one I want to use

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If your device is timing out, I would try restarting the iPhone and attempting to connect again. If the issue still persists, try resetting as well. You can find instructions here:

Cannot log on to my sites

i updated firefox now when i go to my sites i cannot log on to anything except face book i cleared cookies, cache, history. cookie and third party cookies are ticked. I uninstalled firefox 4 and now and running fire fox 3.6 with still the same problem. Help i'm trying to apply for a job on seek and cannot log in. no error comes up it just has done on the left hand corner.

Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

I cannot log onto website using Pluck server blog software.

Pluck is server software from pluck.com. It is used on blogs and forums websites. It manages these websites. I am unable to log onto one of these websites as the log on hangs with Firefox. If I change to IE, I can log on. The log on is inconsistent in that the process stops at different points when different subsites in the domain are employed.
By simply closing Firefox and opening Internet Explorer, I can log on. Pluck is described at www.pluck.com .

Could be a third party app preventing you from being able to login.

Quit the MAS if it's open.
Open a Finder window. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left then open the Library folder then the Caches folder.
Move the com.apple.appstore and the com.apple.storeagent files from the Caches folder to the Trash
From the same Library folder open the Preferences folder.
Move these files Preferences folder to the Trash: com.apple.appstore.plist and com.apple.storeagent.plist
Same Library folder open the Cookies folder. Move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the MAS.
