I cannot see my bookmarks toolbar - the gap is there for it and it is ticked in View and shows in Booksmarks drop-down menu but is invisible (or gone so far to left that it can't be got at), I think it happened after I added eBay sidebar for Firefox.

Any help welcome. I have tried just re-starting Firefox and I have tried adding bookmarks to it, but still can't see it.

This issue can also be caused by a missing "Bookmarks Toolbar items" on the Bookmarks Toolbar.
* Make sure that you have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" then click the "Restore Default Set" button

Did you edit the names to clear them or did you use other means like an extension or code in [http://kb.mozillazine.org/UserChrome.css userChrome.css] ?

"Bookmark toolbar" is visible as drop down menu but shows empty bar even though it is checked on in "view" menu

the horizontal "bookmark toolbar" is checked on in the "view" "toolbars" menu, but appears as a blank bar, without any entries. If I go to "Bookmarks" on the menu bar I can see the "bookmark toolbar" entries. How can I make visible the bookmarks saved in the horizontal "Bookmark toolbar".

Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar.
Make sure that all the toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"

On the website bar when i type a letter a list of websites atomatically appear as a drop down menu, how can i erase these website locations?

I have already used the erase history option but that does not erase locations just the history from search options ect...

Short answer:
Click Hide Song(s), it is what you wanted to do...
Long answer:
iTunes in the Cloud is a feature of your iTunes store account that allows you to redownload or stream your past purchases. When you delete a purchased track that is downloaded to your computer (like the first one shown here) you are asked if you also want to hide the song from iCloud. This would remove it from the computer and also stop it showing up with the iCloud symbol as the other tracks from that album (which are not downloaded) do.
If a track shows with the cloud symbol you can play (stream) it by double-clicking the title, or click the cloud symbol to download a local copy to your library. If you try to delete one of these tracks you get a slightly different message confirming that you want to hide the track. Clicking hide will remove the listing from the library and any other device that shows your past purchases.
Should you want to retrieve any item hidden in this way at a later date use Store > View My Account > iTunes in the Cloud > Hidden Purchases > Manage.
To hide all your previous purchases that are not downloaded to your computer use Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.

Drop Down menu, but with icons, see example

I really need to do a drop down like this:

Dreamweaver user, and I use MenuMachine on GL to do basic menus,
but can't find any quite that intuitive for Dreamweaver. Anyway,
can anyone more knowledgeable than me tell how the guy did that? Is
that Javascript? A extension of some kind?

Just to make it easier, I'm referring to the top 5 or so
buttons, News, etc., that start with a graphic rollover, then drop
down a text menu. I've looked at PVII stuff, but it does not appear
to allow me to start with a graphic rollover, then drop down the
menu. I could live for now without the icons on each line. Any

What you're describing makes no sense; it's a jumble of thoughts and supposed actions, but no concrete information to tell us anything.
If you downloaded Lion, that would not cause what you describe. If you had Snow Leopard running when you downloaded Lion, that also wouldn't cause what you describe. So you had to ahve done something to end up in this state. You say you reinstalled 105.1, but there is no such thing; more likely you mean Mac OS X 10.5, in which case you've answered your own questionn about having Snow Leopard installed anymore.
But if you did that, the question is why? Unless there was something catastrophic wrong with Snow Leopard, there would be no reason to reinstall Leopard. You also describe browsing with Yahoo, but that's not possible because Yahoo is not a browser. The Dock also does not just go "missing".
You're going to need to reinstall Leopard using the Archive & Install option, and then install Snow Leopard to get back to a usable state. If you have a backup from prior to when all these problems began, that's good. If not, then you will have to take your chances on losing all your data if this doesn't work.
Startup from your Leopard disc (if your system came with Leopard), choose your language, and then start the install process. Be sure to choose Archive & Install and Preseve Users and Network Settings before you start the installation. When it's done, let it restart and then check to be sure everything is in working order. If it is, put the Previous Systems folder in the Trash and empty it.
Then download the 10.5.8 Combo Update from the Apple web site and apply it. Restart and check to be sure everything is working.
Post back when you've done that.

On iMac Lion where are the fractions in Pages and Mail? They used to be under "characters" in the "Edit" drop down menu, but they aren't there anymore.

You could use the Auto Correction in the Pages preferences. There are several pre defined fractions. You have just to check them so you can use them in Pages. I can't help you with Lion as I don't have it.

TS3276 the images (attachments) are automatically resized (smaller) when I send them to a customer. My email screen does not show a drop down menu box where you can leave as actual size. Is there a setting elsewhere that can be set.

Any suggestions on problem I have. I receive images, say a file that is 3 mgs through email on Safari mail and when I try to resend it or forward it or any other larger file, when it sends the file is reduced by about 1/3. My screen does not show and drop down menu with a feature to keep actual size or reduce that is suggested when I looked up solutions to the problem. I can't find a setting anywhere in mail that I can change to make sure my files are kept at actual size. I figure a setting got changed -don't know how - but it happened about a month ago. Caused problems as I work in graphics can't send files to clients as they come out too small. Any suggestions on how to fix.

I can't find the answer....about drop-down menu's

This is my first post, but after looking everywhere for the
answer I decided this is my best option. I am trying to create a
drop-down menu with an option for SELECT ALL which would select all
from a table's field via a select statement via a URL parameter. I
have tried inserted the value's *, %, and -1 but none of them have
worked. Do you know what I would need to do in order to select all
the values in a table (this one lists zip codes)?

When customizing my Button Toobars I can't get the Bookmark Toolbar Drop down menu to stay, it simply disappears once I close the customization window

Ichat drop down menu from menu bar shows up in the wrong place.

I'm not sure how this happened, but for some reason, ever since I've moved to college, my Ichat drop down menu from the menu bar shows up on the left side of my screen, and you can only see half of the menu. I don't know how to fix this problem so if anyone could help me out that would be great.

Yep.
Go to the Buddy List Status Message and option the Edit option.
Delete that Status Message that you have that is over 42 characters.
Ones of about 60 or more will introduce the "Left Shift" (And the fact the drop Down may line up with the right hand edge of the Menu Bar icon on in-between lengths)
In Snow Leopard it is possible to have a Long Message that displaces the Drop Down Off Screen.
The other factor is the order of the Menu Bar Icons on that side of the Screen
The iChat one can be Dragged if you use the Apple (CMD) key.
If the Drop Down can not fit the message in before the right hand edge of the Screen it will displace.
Having a Second mac User Account and deciding to Display which mac User is Logged in can give you some extra "space"

Hi,
You can add New status to the Drop Down menu by defining a catalog,codegroups & code group profiles to that...... Once assigned assign them to the Subject profiles and assign this subject profile to the transaction type that is assigned.
This would populate all the profiles that u have mentioned in the subject profile.

How do I find the drop down menu on Safari?

I'm a total novice so apologies right now. I've only had my Mac for a couple of weeks and already I can't sign into ebay which (on my old pc) meant I had to clear my cache. I've searched and seen that I have to use the drop down menu but er, I have no idea what that is, where I can find it or how. Many thanks in advance!

Like I said, apologies! Obviously, I didn't make myself clear at all! Bodycalming, I can confirm that it isn't always possible to successfully sign into ebay. Especially if you need to clear your cookies.

I've been on ebay since 2003 so I know how to sign in there, I was just being bounced back to the sign in page each time I tried. As I said, I knew how to deal with it on my old pc but was at a loss on my shiny new Mac.
