In that a particular font has been given to install in system , i installed that in windiws font folder and its working perfectly with IE. bt in FireFox its not ... so please guide me about how to install a new font in firefox ... thank you :)

i was trying to update my Firefox, but i was unable to do so.
according to your documentation i created symbolic link at the place you said.
still it opens old Firefox.
then i found out there are many more location which holds Firefox old backup, i replace them with new path and hence i lost new as well as old installation.
Then I removed total installation and tried to install again, but its unsuccessful. Then I tried with add/remove software.. it shows Firefox 3.6 which is outdated.
How do i install now?

The new version of Firefox does not allow me to block sites from displaying media that I don't want. Many site advertisers trigger unpleasant animations and pics and I refuse to use a browser that does not allow me to block those. Because of this I have uninstalled and deleted Firefox from all my computers, including programs, settings, and registry entries.
If I get a reasonable answer from Mozilla on the settings I am missing then I will re-install Firefox, and if not then I'm never using Firefox again.None of the solutions above allows me to block display of all images on a web page or to prevent scripts from running. Preventing pop-ups does not cut it. I want to see a web page that, without my explicit permission, displays nothing but text on every site. This has to do with regular content on pages, not advertisements. So far, it seems, the new Firefox is unable to provide this security.
These days so many 'advertisers' (so they call themselves) are competing more and more viciously to hijack web pages that I need to access by using auto-linking and animated images to get around ad-blockers. I need to be able to block everything except text on a page unless i give specific information to allow it for a particular site - some sites do not allow those ads and I can release the restrictions on those sites.
I am not using Firefox, and also have some complaints about other browsers; I am considering doing all my work on the Tor browser. -

In Snow Leopard you update Java from Software Update (in the Apple menu). You can check your version by opening Terminal and typing
java -version
(don't get creative and type anything else)
The latest version is 1.6.0_65. -

We have been told by our timekeeping system provider that the latest versions of FireFox, Chrome and IE are not compatible with their websites at this time. I was told that it was because of the use of HTML 5 by the more recent versions of these web browsers. I need to download the most recent version of FireFox that does not use HTML 5. Can anyone tell me which version this would be?

Unfortunately, HTML5 is a large specification with a lot of parts that has been implemented in pieces over the course of several years. It would be really helpful if your vendor could indicate what EXACTLY is not compatible and then it could be researched. Otherwise, you'd have to use trial and error. Either way, you would end up with an older browser that isn't safe to run on the internet. It could be time to consider other vendors... -

If you did not set up Find My iPad, then there is no way to track it. Contact the police and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPad (the iTunes Store, for instance).

I was able to log into zoho's zmail and retrieve my mail but I could try opening it 20 times but I got nothing, not even an error message. I went into my settings on zoho & couldn't find anything that would cause it. So I logged in on my laptop and no problem opening. So I tried finding an answer on your troubleshooting site but the only thing I found was the reset & I tried it but same problem I didn't see anything else wrong with it but I dont always use all the abilities of firefox.
The 1st time was on my desktop with Win7, and firefox v.20. I removed it and put v.15 back in (Icouldn't find a v.17 anywhere) 2nd time was on my laptop with Vista and firefox v.15. (I installed this version after I changed the desktop's. I am a very big supporter of mozilla & Firefox. I absolutely hate IE - any version. It would kill me to go to that extent but this is enough to make seriously consider finding something else. I am half way to crazy on a good day so its not that far to go if I'm driven crazy.
I also find firefox wont close fully unless I go into Taskmanager & ending process, on both systems.Update your firefox to latest version or Download from mozilla
