I download all the updates and some websights still say I'm running an older version and need to upgrade. How do I fix this?
Every time I download an upgrade, it downloads fine, no errors and seems to work. Then I go to some sights and it says I'm still running older version.

when opening a pdf link on a web poage the process stalls and there is a message that Adobe acrobat reader is running. To the best of my knowledge I do not have the Acrobat reader. To the best of my knowledge I have deleted the reader program. I have an older version of Acrobat Pro. The problem occurred before I did the deletion and continues since then.

App Store shows that I have 9 updates but all Apps are up to date I have tried re downloading all the updates. All Apps show the correct version number post update.
I have the same issue with one App in the App Store. The app is installed and current. But the App Store says I have an update. I tried restarting. No help.

I tried getting the update for my new iphone and now it is asking me to activate it again but won't let me, how do I fix this? I had started using it for a few hours and tried getting the update and now it won't let me activate the phone. I also can't call the helpline because it won't let me leave this screen on the phone that says "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes." What it says on iTunes after I fill out the activation info is "There was a problem activating your iPhone. Please contact Verizon Wireless at 1-800-922-0204 to have this iPhone added to your account. Click Continue to be able to explore its features and the App Store." Please help this is driving me nuts!

Why can't I open and retrieve my files from iPhoto and my Address Book after importing the files from my Power Mac G5 to my new Mac Pro? I get a warning that says the new OS on my Pro doesn't open files from a Power Mac. Any idea how I can fix this?
For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process. What are you talking about? If I'm not not mistaken the iPad was released in April 2010 so there is no 2009 iPad version.

Some have reported success simply by reinstalling the update.
