If the iPod has cameras then it can be update to the current iOS 6.0.1

If the iPod only has iOS 4.x then yo have to update via iTunes. To go to iOS 6 yo need iTunes 10.7 or later on the computer. I would install the latest which is version 11

Purchasing more storage in iCloud does not give you more space on your phone. You need to free up space on your phone in order to update by deleting or syncing data off your phone. (You can check the available space on your phone by going to Setting>General>Usage). You could, for example, delete all your music, then update your phone and sync your music back using iTunes.

First of all, check that you are looking for your USB drive in the correct place. To do it, first connect the USB drive. Then, open a Finder window (press the left icon of Dock) and choose your USB drive on the Finder sidebar, under "Devices". Finally, just copy the documents you need to the internal disk.
If you want to show the USB drive in Desktop, open Finder menu (on the menu bar) > Preferences > General, and tick "External drives" -
I accidentally erased the URL for my homepage with safari in the preferences so can someone tell me what to put in there so when I click on the safari icon in the dock it will take me to the safari page it had when I first got my macbook pro?
Safari comes with the Apple website pre-defined, so if you want to use it as the homepage for Safari, open Safari menu > Preferences > General, and type "http://www.apple.com" (without quotes) on the homepage box. Then, close the Preferences window and Safari will be set up with this page

How can I get itunes to download on my PC. I just got an ipod classic for Christmas and can not get Itunes to download. Website goes to downloaded page but i never get a downloading popup. I even turned off my popup blocker.

Content acquired with an Apple ID is permanently tied to that ID.
There is no reason to create a new Apple ID, frankly that will just create more issues.
It is possible to load content from multiple Apple ID's onto a single device. If the content is in the computer that the device syncs with, simply select the content and sync it. -
Getting a 120gb ipod for Christmas, worried about it not working on xp sp2.
I'm getting a new 120gb ipod for Christmas, I checked all the requirements on the back of the box before we bought it of course. I asked the person who served us with it wether not having XP service pack 3 would be a problem, they said no. Anyway I am very reluctant to install sp3 due to the ammount of computers it's written off, I don't have the cash to sort it out if it ruins mine and I rely on my PC a lot.
Will I encounter any problems running it on XP home SP2? My PC is otherwise up to date and running fine. I have itunes 8 installed and USB ports at both the front and rear of the machine, I've heard it's better to connect ipods via the rear port?
Anyway I've done a lot of reading on the web and I've found some sites saying SP3 and some saying SP2 or later, so I'm confused to say the least.

Anyway, I've spent at least 3 hours already trying to get the &$^% printer working. I've tried several suggestions I found on the forum(s) including using Bonjour, but none of them seem to work. The Printer is an HP LaserJet 1100. I have the latest drivers for the printer, as well as Bonjour 1.05 and the latest stuff for the TC and AX. I just can't seem to get it going.

Trying to make my old 3G iphone an iPod for my 4 year old. I have found lots of ways to do so online. PROBLEM: It's been off for 2 years. When I charged it and turned it on it only flashes many different languages. Will only allow me to call emergency number. Any ideas how I can log on to it?
Im pretty sure what you are looking at is Set up Assistant where it shows different languages on the slider. If I am right then just slide to unlock and follow the prompts to choose your language, country etc.
