I get a message that tells me when I try to connect my Ipad 1 to the computer, that I have to download a newer version. The version on the computer is deleted twice, and a new version is downloaded, but it still doesn`t work. What to do?
Is there anybody out there who can tell me what I`m doing wrong? I`ve just bought this Ipad1, mostly for the kids to play with, but I still want it to work properly.
I first got the message that apple mobile device wasn`t activated. I did activate, and now I get the message that I have to download a never version of iTunes. The version on the computer is the newest, but what`s on my Ipad? No clue. But it`s updatet to the newest IOS 5, so i guess iTunes is updated too?? Or?
Anything I can do to fix this? It`s pretty annoying if I can say so...!

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are locked out of the iPhone. You haven't mentioned what part of the process isn't working for you. If you restored to a saved backup and the password came back you may want to see if you can restore as new without using the backed up data.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

It probably means you don't have enough available storage on your phone. It takes space to store the download - THEN unpack it. Best method is to use a computer with iTunes (This allows you to back up on your computer as well).
PLEASE: Do not purchase iCloud storage space - this will not give you more room for the iOS 7.1 installation. -
Hey Guys. I have a 1st gen dual 2.3 powerPC G5. I just recently upgraded my OS to Leopard 10.5. I cannot for the life of me, get FlashPlayer to work. I Downloaded and installed the archived 10_1r102_64 version, but it still doesn't work.
Everytime I click on a video it says I need to update to the newest version of flash, but my computer doesn't support the updated version. So I feel like I'm in a Catch-22.

I am getting an error message with my snap scan ix500 that says the Evernote is not installed properly when I try to transfer it. I have uninstalled/reinstalled evernote and the scan snap softward but it still doesn't work. Anyone know where evernote stores their files on a Mac? Or had this problem.

I have intermittent problems attaching files in Yahoo mail and this is usually the reason. I'm also using an iMac (10.7.3) and this is likely the problem.
It is generally a Yahoo issue rather than a Mac problem. -

If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. I reinstalled acrobat 8 on my computer but when I try to print to a pdf it states that the program isn't activated. I tried to install and reinstall it but it still doesn't work. It shows that it is activated. I tried to deactivate and reactivate but that doesn't help either. Everything else seems to work.

What operating system are you using, and what version? You may be running into a compatibility issue between your older version of Acrobat and the OS that you're running.
Please let us know a bit more about your setup, so we can get to the bottom of this printing issue.

cannot connect airport express to ipad
I keep receiving the message: "an unexpected error occurred" when I try to connect my Ipad to my airport express. Does anyone have a solution?I could not "see" my Express via my wireless router or via the Airport Utility until I reset it to Factory Settings by unplugging it then holding in the tiny reset button while plugging it back in, waiting for the flashing yellow LED signal before letting go.
Then I set it up to DHCP - "connect to wireless network" and DOWNGRADED the firmware to 7.3.x
I would tell you the exact Firmware but I can no longer "see" the Airport express............ AGAIN or still.....
BUT at least I am listening to music streaming from my MacBook Pro... Hmmm.
I log back into the router (Linksys WRT110) and it no longer shows the Airport Express as a DHCP client AND the Airport utility can no longer "find" any Airport Devices..
So if I don't move, or there are no cosmic events, or maybe my KARMA is effecting the device or my "VIBES" are good, but I'm not sure if will continue to work.. Sure would like to use this little device from hel*.
Since I have had this Airport Express I have spent many hours trying to get it to work.
It works just long enough to fool me and then takes a dump...

My computer was reimaged and iTunes was deleted, now when I try to sync my ipad it says it is synced with another library? How do I sync with the newly installed iTunes without losing all of my data on my ipad?
Copy all the content on your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes. Then go ahead and sync the iPod with your new library.

Plug and unlpug the headphone jack with some intention to get the mechanical switch to flip.
