I get license expired on webpages and access denied. Seems to be mostly on ads. I am unable to reach many webpages

I get the message "License Expired
The trial license on your device has expired.
After 30 days,your device will stop working.
To apply for a platform license,please contact your equipment vendor.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please reenter your URL and continue your web experience." It began two days ago. I am in China. The messages often shows up in advertising boxes, then replaces the entire webpage.

EDIT: To try to work out what those two midden volumes are do I tried this in terminal, gave me this:

I presume those ghost type volumes, net and home, are the ones showing up there with names as . and .. and run by 7 root admin. Shouldn't technically I be the user admin since only I use this machine? No idea why i'm listed as gary staff ... Soz for all the questions, I really wanna learn

Mysql, JDBC, Linux and Access Denied

I have just installed a MySQL Connctor/J 2.0.14 (JDBC) to be able to connect to a MYSQL-database on a Linux-server from a java-program on the same server. But I keep on getting an access-right-error. I would be very thankfull if someone could help me.
From the linux-shell I can connect to the database with mysql:

shell vs. what you have in yoour code are not the
same. they need to be the same.

But what you said about my user accounts might be the
problem In the mysql.user tabel I have 3 instances of
the "speciale" user, each with a different host: "%",
"dat" and "localhost".

yes. it is possible that the passwords are not the same. so the password for speciale from localhost is not the same as from % or dat. why don't you delete the dat and localhost ones and just leave the % one.

HT1923 Reinstalling iTunes, but unable to delete C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\. I have admin status, but I get an error saying "Destination Folder Access Denied"

Following instruction to reinstall iTunes, uninstalled iTunes and related components, verified all deleted. Need to delete C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\ manually, but am getting and error that says "Destination Folder Access Denied". I do have admin status on my user account. What's next? Many of the files in these directories are Mobile Me and iCloud, should I uninstall those too?

I have the same problem and it looks like others do too. I have spent far too much time trying to find a solution but nothing has worked so far.
Does "end windows explorer for the processing menu" mean to end explorer.exe in the processes window in Windows Task Manager? Does "start new task" means File-New Task in Windows Task Manager? If so, the solution does not work for me.
Any other suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

I am trying to install software. I keep getting error message: 1008:9,-5000 Access denied Error. Plus: "You don't have enough access privileges for this installation." I have Administration privileges on MY machine. So, why can't I install software on it?

The machine I am trying to install on is a MacBook Pro. The software is for an IRIScan express 2 scanner. It says (and provides a disc containing the software) it is compatible with Mac OS.
In System reqirements it states the following:

a Mac OS computer with a G3 processor.
the operating system Mac OS X version 10.2 (“Jaguar”). Earlier ver- sions of the Mac OS operating system are not supported!
110 MB of free hard disk space.
I have no idea what (nor where to find out if it has) a G3 processor is. My machine has Mountain Lion. Is this "above" or "below" "Jaguar"?

Err... Try VueScan first. VueScan have one-for-all software, Silverfast - lot of modules for specific scanners. If they not have version for your specific scanner - no chances.

Get-WmiObject to remote computer fails with "rpc server is unavailable" and vice versa "Access denied"

Still learning PowerShell remoting.
Can access with remoting 2 computers (XPProf/SP3, Workgroup) perfect. Powershell2.0 (running as Administrator).
Using Firewall ZoneAlarm not Windows Firewall (stopped).
But when using Get-WMIObject always run into
"rpc server is unavailable" in one direction and "Access denied" in the other direction.
Searched the forum but didnt find infos.
Switched off Firewalls: Still the same.
So I'm stuck.
Any help is appreciated.

License expired despite downloading new version of WLS 6.1

Trying to run the server for WLS 6.1 sp1 after downloading sp1. I had an
expired license prior to downloading and these still seems to be present
on my PC despite reinstalling everything.
My understanding is that BEA are happy for us to download the server
again when the evaluation license expires - is this the case?
How can I replace the old expired license with the newly downloaded one?

The license file for WebLogic Server 6.1 shuld have release="6.1">.
If you have a license that says Release="*", this is a WebLogic Server
6.0 license.

your description is a bit confusing. You get the error message when you try to add the other DC to the DNS management console on one machine?
Both DCs belong to the same domain according to your description?
Please post an unedited ipconfig /all from both DC/DNS servers here.
BTW: PDC/BDC concept is gone since the start from AD with Windows 2000 Server. All DCs are the same, difference are only the FSMO roles, still that can be held from any DC in the domain according to some rules.

Getting Access Denied error when try to deploy metro app from VS 11 Beta

When I try to deploy metro style app from VS11 Beta, i'm getting following error.
Error : DEP0740 : Access denied. This may be because the application state is locked. A possible cause is "RuntimeBroker.exe" retaining a lock on the storage data for your application. The workarounds are (1) Wait for the "RuntimeBroker.exe" to quit. This
may take up to 6 minutes. (2) Kill the "RuntimeBroker.exe" process and redeploy. (Note that option (2) may cause loss of data.)
Error 2 Opening file from location: F:\...bin\Debug\AppX\AppxManifest.xml failed with error code: 0x80070005. Access is denied.
Any idea, why?

Double check the connection settings. That error means that the connection is not setup properly and either a username/password is wrong.

Access denied on CNN video

I can no longer view video news clips on CNN. The player still loads and the advertising video plays fine but before the news clip loads I get a stop sign with an Access Denied message. I haven't changed anything (other than the security updates). I did try repairing permissions without results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I've tried Firefox, Internet Exporer, Safari, and Camino; CNN video will not play, I get an error message sometimes that says "Access Denied", other times it just continues to load and never finishes. I get this with my OS 10.4 laptop. With my OS 10.3 eMac video plays just fine. I think its a 10.4 issue.

Access denied icon when booting from techtool CD

The DVD drive on my imac will not allow me to boot directly from the techtool pro 4 CD. You think its starting up then i get the spinning wheel with the access denied icon (circle with diagonal line through it).
I've run the hardware test from the original imac installer CD, everything appears fine (this also shows the imac can boot from a CD). I've tried zapping the P-Ram before booting from the CD and also have tried the verbose boot and still nothing. Im slowly running out of ideas, can anyone help. PLEASE!!!!!

TechTool does have a proper version of OSX to boot from as I have tried the CD on a friends G5 tower, same operating system as mine and his boots fine.
