I had firefox4.0 installed in my PC. There was a glitch in the browser so I uninstalled it and now when I am trying to re-install any version of firefox, I am unable to.

This is the message that I see when I try installing any version of Firefox:
Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous uninstall of Firefox. Do you want to reboot now?

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Unless you use the steps on this page when creating a new account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
then you will need to enter credit card details before the account can be used to download any item from the store.
If you don't have a credit card then you will need to create a new account, and follow those instructions. If you want to use the same email address then you will need to remove it from that account first e.g.by logging into it via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com - you should then be able to use it on a new account.

I created a site column at the root of my site and I have publishing turned on. I selected the Hyperlink with formatting and constraints for publishing.
I went to my subsite and added the column. The request was to have "Open in new tab" for their hyperlinks. I was able to get the column to be added and yesterday we added items without a problem.
The problem arose when, today, a user told me that he could not edit the hyperlink. He has modify / delete permissions on this list.
He would edit the item, in a custom list, and click on the address "click to add a new hyperlink" and then he would get the error below after succesfully putting in the Selected URL (http://www.xxxxxx.com), Open
Link in New Window checkbox, the Display Text, and Tooltip:

and I saw in another post, below with someone who had a similar problem and the IISreset fixed it, as did this problem. I wonder if this is resolved in the latest updated CU of SharePoint, the April 2014 CU?

Again, if I update my SharePoint 2010 farm to April 2014 CU is this going to resolve the issue I have?

We had the same issue after applying the SP2 & August CU. we open the case with MSFT and get the same resolution as you mentioned.
I blog about this issue and having the office reference.
Later MSFT release the Hotfix for this on December 10, 2013 which i am 100% positive should be part of future CUs.
So if you apply the April CU then you will be fine.

Yes. You can't update or restore any GSM iPhone without a valid sim card installed in the phone. The sim card need not be activated, but it must be valid & present. If you want to update, you need to get a sim card.

The songs being synced to my iphone would get corrupted and then everytime i plugged in my ipod or iphone itunes said they needed to be restored but that didnt work so i uninstalled itunes and now when i try to install it it doesnt install.

My phone was working fine and at the same time the samsung logo came up saying there was a software update, the screen went green with lines and static. Help?

I spent time online chatting with reps from Samsung who tried to get me to do a factory reset even though I'd already told them I couldn't access the screen at all. They ended up suggesting I just send it in for a warranty replacement as the phone was only purchased in the summer. I'd like to see if there are other options? I had CS3 installed on my windows 8.1 pc. There was an issue with the printer so i uninstalled and tried to reinstall. Now the Acrobat is removed and i cannot get the install to run any longer. It says setup already running.

I am running Windows 8.1, CS3 appears to be installed but when i go into the programs they will not work. I have attempted to remove thru add remove programs but it does nothing. I have tried to reinstall and it says there is already an instance running. HELP!

restart your computer and check your programs (x86) directory to see if cs3 is installed.
if it's not, install it. if it is, open one of your installed programs.

First, regarding the virus issue, although I cannot promote any specific 3rd party software, there are plenty of FREE and very good anti-virus apps out there. You can Google 'free antivirus" and a good list will come up. You may want to look at a few reviews before you try. I don't know if you use Mac or Windows so you may have to do a little research on which is best for your computer platform. You can run the software and it will help clean off your system if there's a virus.
Second, regarding your Elements sync to Revel, you may need to disable and then re-enable the Revel sync agent from within Elements, which you find in Preferences. In addition you may try signing out and then back into Revel via Elements.
Let me know how that goes. If the disable/re-enable doesn't help, I'll get an Elements team member to see if they can help.
