I have a brother MFC-J835DW printer and my ipad can not find it to print? They are both connected to the same wirelss network via a Linksys router. Any ideas?

I have a Brother MFC-J835DW wireless printer (which is on the list of supported printers for Airprint), and have both the IPad 2 and the printer connected to the same wireless network. When I try to select the printer to print fromt he iPad, it cannot find the printer. Any ideas?

The first thing to do is to make sure that your printer has the latest firmware. You can download the firmware updater from Brother:

Contnue to use the commpn ID/account for Settings>iTunes and App stores.

Just create a new AppleID for your work.
As Allan suggested, items purchased on one iTunes account cannot be moved to the other account.
However, you can put items purchased on on account onto the other iPhone.

Ipad and Iphone show offline on find my phone, but they are both on, what am I doing wrong

My iphone was lost and im trying to locate it using find my phone however it says all devices are offline!
I have my Ipad thats connected to the same apple id and the find my phone is enabled and im currently connected to my home wifi as well as hotspot, but, it says offline!

If the location of the device is unknown, then it will show up as offline. It's quite possible that your router has not been properly registered by your provider to show its location. Also your device has be be turned on and connected to wifi.
As for iphones, they shouldn't have this router problem, since they are also connected to cell towers.
Did you ever test all your devices before, at home, to see if they could be located. If they were found, then my hypothesis in the first paragraph is probably not correct. You might test your ipad at another location, like a mall to see if you can find it using the Find My iPhone app.

power everything off printer & router.
re-boot ipad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake
button until a red slider appears, then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake

When you change to the new router, did you re-run the CD to re-set the new SSID and password to the printer.
Otherwise your iPad will not be able "talk" to your printer.

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. I have two iPads and one iPod Touch and they are using iTunes on the same computer. I have not been able to backup the second iPad. Is there a reason this is happening? iPad one is an iPad 1 and the second is an iPad 2 not sure if this has something to do with it. I just tried to upgrade to IOS 5 and when it went to back up it gave me an error code (-5000). I tried to back up using iTunes and it told me that my backup was corrupted and to delete it and try to back up again. When I went into the device portion where I was instructed to go to delete the backup I found that there was no backup for my iPad just the iPad 1.
I have synced many times and all of the apps, podcasts, music, etc... show up in iTunes, and iTunes recognizes that is is the second iPad but there is not a backup for it.
Any Ideas?

Thanks Kurt! I had tried all that and had tried closing both programmes from the application monitor, but SyncServices Agent refused to close. I tried closing Launchd which is their mother application, but that just caused the screen go go blank. In the end the two programmes let themselves be closed next time I tried the installation process so all was well. Thanks for your help!
