I have an iPad with iOS 5.0.1 that is not able to connect to cisco wireless networks at work.

Hi, I have an iPad that is not able to connect to any of the Cisco wireless access points at work. The iPad is on the latest iOS 5.0.1. I did a reset on the iPad and erased all content and settings. The wireless network I'm trying to connect uses WPA2 Enterprise encryption. I'm able to connect to a Verizon mifi device so I know wireless is working. It seems like it's just not getting the certificate. I'm able to connect to our wireless network from other iPads just fine except for this one device. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to troubleshoot the issue. Thank you.

I suggest updating using iTunes on your computer (current version: 11.0.3).
Update iOS first, then apps.

    If you want to use AirPrint - the buit in feature in iOS that allows you to print directly from the iPad without another app - you need to be using an AirPrint Printer. There is a list of those printers here.

    If your printer is not on the list, you may still be able to use your current printer, but will need to purchase a printing app for the iPad from the App Store.
    I don't understand you reference to iOS 10 unless you mean OS X10 for Mac.

    You will need to restore the iPad using Recovery Mode. Since you are using a computer that you have never synced with in the past, you will have to erase the device and will lose all content. You will be able to download your purchased content as long as you use the same Apple ID that you bought the content with in the first place - as long as the content is still available and the downloading of past purchases is available in your country.

    Try resetting your iPad:
    Double click the Home button. Slide up with one finger on ALL your apps to close them.
    Then, Press the Sleep/Wake button + Home button and hold 15 seconds or until you see the Apple logo.
    This will reset your device without erasing data, apps or settings.

    I've just updated my iPad to iOS 7.02 and I'm not able now to download new apps nor update the version of the existing ones. All of them are "waiting"... for ever.Even, when trying to download a new app, a "dratf" icon appears on the ipad, not the app's own icon...
    I've tried to switch off and on the iPad, disconnect and reconnect the itunes id... and nothing works. Even deleting an app, to download it again, doesn't work. It even doesn't ask for my password!!! (Stays with the small square with a circle around, the one that gets "bolder" while downloading... but it doesn't get bolder now. Just stay...).
    Any suggestions? I wouldn't like to reset the iPad, since I've got data in some apps that I wouldn't like lo loose...
    By the way, I can not either delete some apps with thos "draft" icons... even when the alert that appears when trying to do that is shown and select "ok".

    Thank you, Once_was_lost, but it doesn't work either. I tried it yesterday as an option (I think you're referring to the options of those apps in the settings app).
    The problems are still here... I've been able to update some apps using the PC itunes (connecting the app to it), but all the other apps are still "wating", and I have two new strange things:
    * I cannnot remove the apps that are downloading (at least those that are supposed to be downolading ) . But I could remove one from the PC... and now there is an "empty line" in the "to update apps list".
    * Stranger: though I cannot download new apps or music from the store, I can do in-app purchases!!! In that case, I'm asked for the password and the item downloads. How is it possible?????
    I can download with the same user in the PC, in the iPhone... but not in the iPad .
    I'm getting mad...

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

    Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

    Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

    Can't downgrade on iOS ...
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

    Well, you could install the drivers to the wireless printer in you other computers.

    If you choose but you need to be careful with your data plan and make sure you use wifi at home. This approach will make you pad a sole source so others in tying household will need to use your device. It's really your call.

    We are encountering an issue during creation of PO. We can create a PO with reference to a PR that is not fully released. The PR has not been fully released in the past.
    1. PR was created and was released upto web approval (PR is currently not fully approved)
    2. PO was created with reference to the PR that is not fully approved and also with reference to an RFQ. The PO was created even if the PR was not fully approved.
    We tried to simulated the steps above in development server and PO cannot be created because of the error 'Purchase requisition 168151, item 00110, not released for ordering'. However, in production, the PO was created and the PO created was fully released already.
    Any inputs as to why this happened? Your help will be highly appreciated.

    Hi Jessica,
    While creating the PO you might have entered the PR No. in PO Item overviewbut it might have happened knowingly or unknowingly the PR No. is deleted from Delivery Schedule tab  at Item details of the PO either during PO creatin or PO change mode.
    Generally system updates the PR status by validating the PR No. in delivery schedule tab of the PO.
    Though the PR No. is reflecting at PO Item  overview,.as there is no PR No. in delivery schedule tab it is not checking wether the PR is released or not.

    My guess is you have a very old version of iTunes on your Mac.
    Go to http://www.apple.com/itunes on your mac to download a more recent copy.
    Depending on how old your Mac is and how old its OS X is, you may not get too current an iTunes version.  The latest is 11.0.4.

    it finds the wireless fine but i connect and it makes me log in using my school info so i enter that and touch connect and then it wont log in but my iPhone works fine to do this so why the crap cant my ipad do this if i would of known this i would of bought me a 3G version. im considering taking back my iPad now.

    Do you have IT support at your school? If so, see if they can assist with any setup requirements on the iPad.
    If not, compare the wireless network setups on the iPhone to the same on the iPad. Maybe the cause will be apparent.

    What exact model/year is your Mac? Please post the model identifier by going to the Apple > About this Mac > System Info (or more info - don't remember the dialog on the older system) > your hardware. It should look similar to this:
    This info is needed as I don't think you can run 10.7 (as indicated in your profile) on a 9 year old Mac.

    Since the network obviously doesn't belong to you, we're not going to be able to suggest much you can do to fix it.  As for getting wifi in your home, do you not already have Internet access? Wireless routers are cheap if you already have wired Internet. If you don't, the "best" provider may not be a relevant question. You probably have 2, maybe 3 choices. Your cable company, your phone company and probably one other choice that is actually running piggyback on either the cable or phone company.  If you're in a high rise, the building may have their own service you can buy into.
