On October 11th I started an EDGE agreement for the NOTE 3. I make a $92.30 payment over the phone (which is listed above). The lady said it would arrive two days after the phone comes out. It didn't show up two days after it came out and my little Droid X went dead on me. I called customer service and asked if the phone has been shipped yet. They said it has not. I asked if I could pick it up in the store instead. They said yes. They said they would cancel the shipment so I can pick it up in the store. I end up going to the store at Torrance Crossroads and I was just about to get the phone. Then sales rep was trying to force me into buying the case and charger package that was a deal with the phone for $100.I said no and he got hurt and quiet over it. 5 minutes later he comes up to me saying the edge agreement is not cancelled and they can not give me the phone. I asked if there is anything he can do or call customer service and verify because customer service told me it could be done. He said no and walked away.
I call customer service and they say that they stopped the order and told me to go back to the store and try again. I did not wanna see the sales rep at Torrance Crossroads so I go to another Verizon store on hawthorne blvd in Torrance. I try the same process and the same thing happens. I tell them to call customer service and verify what is going on. I wait for 2 hours while they talk to customer service and the financial department. They tell me they will start another edge agreement on my girlfriends line and give me the note 3 so I can use it on my line. They said they waved the fee through some promotion since I went through a lot of trouble getting the phone and I should be getting a check in the mail for the $92.30 I paid on 10/11/13.
Ever since then I have been paying for two edge agreements at $29.16 a piece. I have also been paying an extra $8 for insurance on a note 3 that I do not have. I have not gotten reimbursed the $92.30 I paid on 10/11/13. I have been calling customer service since December and have not gotten any where. Today was the last straw when the guy put me on hold and I ended up getting transferred to the sales department... What should I do? Is there anyone that can actually help my situation out. I already suspended my line and will do so for the next 5 months until this is fixed.

    Download/install an app is a know possible solution.

    If that iPhone was orignally sold in the US, Out of Warranty replacement cost
    will be

    Replacement will be an iPhone of the same color and GB. There is no option to upgrade
    using Out of Warranty replacement.

    You will have to put your phone into recovery mode and restore the phone as new. Since you don't have a back up, you will lose all the data on your phone but you will be able to use it again.

  • It's been months and there is not even a hotfix for the issues introduced by 4.3 yet

    It has been months since the 4.3 update, and there hasn't been a single hotfix or update to fix any of the issues introduced by 4.3, and let's not even mention the lateness of 4.4 in comparison to other brands. This is unacceptable.
    So many users reported issues, as basic as some of the Sound options not working, or abnormally high amounts of RAM usage, or even the **bleep** bug with the non-working camera button, making you miss important moments you wanted to photoshoot. Literally NOTHING has been done to remedy these very basic and (some very old) problems. I'm not even going to mention Xperia Facebook connectivity - it has become apparent that there are no plans to ever have this option work. And don't even pretend that we have forgotten about the touchscreen issues, which have also received ZERO RESPONCE from Sony. This is terrible.
    What is really sad is that they will probably 'rush' 4.4 (funny, as it's going to be an year late or more) and it will probably also have TONS of bugs, also left to decay for months or years before getting fixed.
    It really looks like Sony are so cheap that they wouldn't hire a second developer, because so far it seems that there is one person working to develop these updates, and probably 1 more person to test them.

    I have been waiting for some news of 4.4, but nothing seems to come out, still waiting expecting... However there was a leak from a carrier that the Z1 4.4.2 update will be released in April (for that carrier), hoping sony will release it soon..:')

    My guess would also be a failling connection between your logicboard and your GPU. See 2011 MacBook Pro and Discrete Graphics Card
    For most users it starts with some random crashes and freezes like you describe it. And then it just gets worse and worse. There are still no "good" solutions, sadly. This is a hardware problem from the production.

  • Over the past several weeks/months,multiple problems have emerged with this phone withich I have had for 2 years.

    The first to go was visaable voicemail.  After 2 support calls, it still doesn't work.  This was an app I considered "critical" when I purchased the phone - I am out of the office the majority of time, and need quick repnse to my clients' calls.
    Then, there seemed to be battery issues...wasn't holding a charge as long, takes loner to charge.
    Text messaging- frequently get "can't send"... powering down/back on doesn't resolve the issue.  It sometimes send the text, but no pattern as to when or why.
    SIM card error....message is that SIM card does not exist or is damaged and a message that I can continue to make emergency calls.  The error generally just disappears and I can continue calling, but lately, the error often causes the phone to power off.
    Any suggestions or other than 2 hours support calls?
    It's interesting that I'm having tese issues now that my contract has ended and I can get another phone ...with another 2 year contract.

    indoors and outdoors. my zip code is 07094. i know this issue is specific with this device only. if i hook up my galaxy s3 or bb device on same line with same sim card i have zero issues. I do get service when i am in and around my house but i drive a few blocks down it goes down to no service (circle with the line through it). most of the time i can't regain service by switching airplane mode on and off. Sometimes it works but i should not for any reason have to do this to use my phone.
    Things i have done to troubleshoot.
    -a replacement phone
    -new sim card
    -hard reset
    -activated other devices with this line and sim.

    I was trying to find what files I had sent someone a couple of months ago.  I thought it had been by email but I realise it must have been a CD.  I can't remember what I had sent them.  Does the Macbook have any history of CD burning?

    That depends on how the server sends the file.
    If this is a MIME (content) type that is supported by other software then you can open the file automatically.
    If the file is send with a generic content type like application/octet-stream or as Content-Disposition:attachment then you can only save the file.

    Unfortunately you've discovered too late how important it is to maintain an up-to-date backup of your iTunes library (and all other data of value).  You could, before wiping the drive, have considered making use of a commercial data recovery service that could (albeit at considerable cost) have extracted your library from the hard disk, even if virus infected.
    In the absence of that option, you will need to restore the content of your library from its original sources:
    Depending on your location, you may be able to re-download any iTunes Store purchases that are still available on the Store
    Likewise, most digital purchases from Amazon (including auto-rip copies of purchased CDs) should be available from the Amazon Cloud and via the Amazon Music application - the same may be true of other commercial sources for digital downloads
    Content imported from your CDs will have to imported again
    The specific situation that you describe regarding the music imported from your friend's external HDD suggests that either the source is badly organized and/or originates from a source other than iTunes (other media players may use alternative tags for information like artist, title, album, etc. that are not wholly consistent with how iTunes handle these).  Without details of the issues you're seeing it is difficult to suggest a remedy other than going through the media album-by-album, track-by-track, and correcting the inconsistencies.
    In the absence of a backup or access to the original library data there is no option other than painstakingly recreating your library as described above.  As you do so, you'll now realize how important creating and maintaining backups are - in my case I have at all times three separate duplicates of my library, in two different locations, where none is ever more than a week old compared to the content of my master library.

    I have the router that my ISP provided and that is connected to a airport extreme base station wirelessly
    That....will not work. The AirPort Extreme must connect to your ISP provided router using a permanent, wired Ethernet cable connection.
    Once you reset the AirPort Extreme back to factory default settings, make the Ethernet connection, and then reconfigure the AirPort Extreme to create a wireless network.......then......the Time Capsule will be able to wirelessly extend the AirPort Extreme wireless network.
    If you do it this way, you will not be using your ISP provided wireless network at all, so you might want to consider turning off the wireless on the ISP router.....unless you really need a second wireless network for guests, or the kids, etc.

    I keep getting installer package error messages, I uninstalled the previous version to see if that was the problem to now find that I cant reinstall it as the new version is the only one available.
    Im using Windows 7, I'm assuming Im not the only one with this problem.
    Would a complete uninstall and reinstall of Apple software be of any benefit or is that just a cure all solution when nobody has an answer?
