I have OSX 10.6.7 and Firefox 4 and I can't print from a web page to an HP Photosmart C5200

on a Macbook Pro

I found a thread about the HP Print & Scan Doctor software tool. I downloaded and ran it.  It detected a conflict with the D2680 driver / software, so I uninstalled the driver / software.  I then reran the software install, and now everything works fine.

  • Running Firefox 8.0.1 on Mac OSX 10.7.2 & can't print preview of web pages.

I have a MAC desktop running OS 10.7.2 and Firefox 8.0.1. and can't print preview of web pages. On my PC, it's there just fine. (Firefox 8.0 on Windows XP). What can be done to get print preview of web pages for the Mac? Thanks. C Baher

Firefox 4 versions and later '''do not run on a PowerPC Mac''' and require at least OS X 10.5 and '''an Intel Mac'''.

    1. Download a new copy of the Firefox program(3.6.27) from the above link
    2. Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install.
    3. Install the new version that you have downloaded(3.6.27).

  • I have no Canon toolbar so I can't print from the Web on my printer

I have a Canon MG5120 multi-printer and when on Firefox the only thing that prints from the web is the time and date border, not the main body of whatever I'm trying to print, like an email or online article. I'm running XP, and I have the Canon toolbar on IE.

Try to reset the print prefs. See:

  • Firefox 3.6.3 will not print a full web page. IE will print with no problem.

Firefox won't print a full web page. When I check the print preview, it only shows what will print and the whole page is not displayed. I tried resetting my printer in about:config and that never helped.
I am stumped and need help to resolve this please.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
    == After I download Ver. 3.6.3

No...I tried the reset option as I mentioned above. It didn't work.
But I think I just figured it out.
The page margin was set up to something like 7000 in to the right.
really, I have no idea how it got like that.
So I was printing a blank page. Go figure...................

  • Passing username and password to Forms Application from a web page

    Hi,
I have a web application where the user needs to login and browse some web pages. One of the links on this page
calls a forms application. How do I pass the userid and password from the web application to the forms application
so that the user doesnot need to login once again.
    Thanks,
    Vikram

I have one problem with that. The password of the user
should not show up in the URL or the user should not be
allowed to view the password by clicking on
    "View Source" on the browser.
How can I call the forms application in such a way so that the user password doesnot show up?
    Thanks for your reply.

  • Detecting and displaying images inside SWF from same web page its embedded in

Great forum and appreciate the great help I've been getting
here. I am getting a bit more used to Flex now - the collection of
    controls is pretty amazing.
I am trying to create an ImabeBrowse.SWF which when embedded
on a web page, it would then automatically show thumbnails of all
the images from that same page. Has anyone done anything like this
    in AS3?
From documentation, it sounds like I would need to write some
Javascript which would traverse the HTML's DOM to get all image
URL's, and then pass these into the SWF?
If one of you experts could share some code, that'd be
    greatly appreciated!!

    Asking for more.........
Yes, I do agree there is no need to create an additional DAD when we want to call a procedure from infrastructure database (iasdb) because giving grant to public or portal_public schema is enough.
But why is it that even after following the right way to create a DAD for HR schema in infrastucture database fails to call a procedure?
The error which I get is:-
    Database Log In Failed
TNS is unable to connect to destination. Invalid TNS address supplied or destination is not listening. This error can also occur because of underlying network transport problems.
Verify that the TNS name in the connectstring entry of the DAD for this URL is valid and the database listener is running.
    The details for rajhr DAD
    Database Connectivity Information
    Database Username : HR
    Database Password : hr
    Databse Connection String : <blank>
I have left database connection string blank as the infrastructure database is local.
Is it that I cannot have two DAD for a local database eventhough they point to two different users?

You have selected your default printer as the Microsoft XPS Document Writer. To solve this, go to Devices and Printers, right-click your printer of choice, and select 'Set as default printer'.

  • I can't print from firefox

When I go to print an email or webpage in Firefox all that happens is that a page goes through the printer and comes out blank. When I try to print the same pafge from Safari it prints fine.
I'm on a Mac and running Firefox 3.6.11

Also can't print from FF 3.6.12, but it doesn't crash. There's no error message, no job gets queued to the printer. Other applications (including Safari) print without a problem.

  • I can't print from my Blackberry....when I select "I know my printers address" and I type this

I can't print from my Blackberry  9900 to my HP photosmart 5510 (but have wireless printing from my iPad working fine). In the BB I select the "my Printers" option and then go to "I know the printers address" option. I then type in the customised email address that I used on setting up the printer (that ends in @hpeprint.com)  but it then comes back saying "Printer not found! Please check the address and try again". What should I do ? Many thanks.

I would try setting the account to allowed senders only first, and then add the email you registered the blackberry eprint app with to the allowed list. This should hopefully resolve the issue.

  • Envy5532 - both PC and printer connect to WiFi router/network, but can't print from PC : (

I have a new Envy 5532 and I want to print from my Windows 7 Pro PC via my wireless network/internet router.
The PC is connected wirelessly to the internet through the router. The printer connects to the router/network without any problem. The printer also connects DIRECTLY to the PC wirelessly, and I can print from the PC if I disconnect from the router/WiFi network.
So the router comes up as a network on the PC, and the printer comes up as a different network. But I can only print through the direct connection, which means I can only print, not scan. Also, it means I have to disconnect from the internet in order to print.
I have run all diagnostics, installed the drivers, etc. but it seems to be a dead end.
    Any advise? Many thanks.

    Hi @DrivenDementet,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that you cannot print from your PC to your HP Envy 5532. I am happy to help you with your printing!
    Please see the following guides:
'Printer is offline' Message Displays on the Computer and the Printer Does Not Print: Windows 7. (This guide will help you get online and printing).
Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection. (This guide will help you maintain the connection).
On top of the guides, I would also recommend this website, HP Wireless Printing Center, as there is some good information on wireless printing.
it is also very important with wireless printing that the PC and the Printer are on the same wireless network, otherwise they will not be able to talk to each other.
Hope this information clears things up for you, and have a great day!
