This happens only when you are sending forms.
For example, imagine you are sending an order, if you refresh, you will be potentially re-sending the order, causing you to have 2 orders.
Of course, this might be bad because it means you'll potentially pay 2 orders.
It might be also good, because it's useful to refresh when an order doesn't go through, effectively re-sending everything.
So the warning is just so you know that the form will be re-submited. It's a warning, it won't stop you from doing anything.

P.S.: The answer above applies to all default firefox installations that try to resubmit a form. If the warning happens everytime you refresh, in any site without a form, most likely this is a warning not caused by Firefox but by an addon.

Each time I try to open a web page it says 'server not found' so I shut it and try the same page again and it opens

What do you mean ''shut it down'' ? Did you close Firefox, or that window.

I have an HP-Pavilion Vista PC with MS Office 2007 and Service Pack 2. Each time I try to save a Word or Excel document I get the “Not Responding” message. The “Word is saving……” bar at the bottom does not show any progress. On clicking the document I get a faded version even when in Safe Mode. Somehow the document appears on the Desktop where I tried to save it. On trying to open the saved document, even as administrator, I get the following ”File in Use” message:
“The ….docx is locked for editing by….” and I am asked three questions including:
“Do you want to open a Read Only copy” yet on clicking “Yes” I am able to edit the same document.
On trying to save to a different location I get the message:
“Your autocorrect file MSO 1033.ad could not be saved. The file may be read only or you may not have permission to modify this file.”
The same message stating FILE12\1033\MSO.ACL MSO 1033ad recurs with new Excel documents.
How can I correct this problem?

Worse still, the HP Advisor icon that appears on startup does not load successfully while showing the message: “Access to the path Hewlett-Packard\HD Advisor is denied”.
What can I do about it?

I'm having the same issue, allowing guest access on the share did change the logs I'm getting in Samba. Earlier on it was giving errors on the inability of guest access to the share.

Is the same true for using the App Store with a desktop machine? Someone installed a program on my machine (the IT department) and I would like to install the updates but it was installed under a different Apple ID. This anyone know how to change, or work around this particular issue?

Hold the power button and the home button down until the screen goes black and the apple logo appears. This will do a reset and you should be able to update your apps then.

I tried using the downloaded update. It still didn't work but at least I did not have to restart my computer. The message was a little different too: "The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."

Run through this list of fixes, either something is corrupted or you have malware that's blocking the update.

Make sure to backup your users files to a external storage drive first (not only TimeMachine as it may fail to restore) and disconnect, because if' it's a drive corruption/failing then the entire thing will either have to be replaced or a wipe and install done.

I can open Google Chrome and IE without any problems. My new version of Thunderbird won't let me see messages.
