I just bought a used and restored 3G iTouch. I've never had an iPod before. When I turn it on it goes to the picture of a usb connecting to iTunes. When I connect to iTunes it says 'could not connect because its locked with a passcode'. Help?
Is it screwed or is there something I can do to fix it?
Plae the iPod in Recovery mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes.

My Ipod Touch is disabled and when I connect to Itunes to recover it, it states that itiTunes could not connect to the iPod touch “iPod touch” because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPod touch before it can recover.
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -
My iphone 3gs will no longer let me try passcodes and it only says "Iphone is disabled connect to itunes" well, when I connect it to my laptop, itunes says "could not connect to phone because it is locked with a passcode. you must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes" Please help!!! When I try to install iTunes.. I get an error saying: "Could not access network location %PUBLIC%\Desktop.. I tried some tutorials on YouTube to try an fix this problem, but none seem to help.. So does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Please help ASAP.

I have a used iMac, HD wiped clean, OS 10.6.8 freshly installed w/Rosetta, Photoshop Elements was installed but won't start saying "could not complete because of missing or invalid personalization info." is previous owner's name somehow still there preventing initialing? How do I remove and install my own? I don't understand as HD was completely wiped with no OS when I got it.
I think Adobe allows their software to be installed on 2 computers only. However, if say you buy another computer and wish to install PSE on the new computer ( effectively a 3rd computer as far as Adobe is concerned ) PSE needs to be properly uninstalled ie not simply by uninstalling using the operating system's uninstall process. It needs to be uninstalled using the Adobe uninstall process that is contained within the software.
You should then be given a prompt as to whether you will be reinstalling on the same computer or if you wish to remove altogether. If the latter, then all traces are removed and the software can be (re) installed on the new computer.
If, unknown to yourself, the software had been installed on 2 computers and although you or the previous may have wiped the hard drive clean, as far as Adobe is concerned the software is still ' registered / assigned ' to 2 computers.
If the previous owner bought a new computer and installed their PSE on it, wiped the hard drive clean without properly uninstalling/removing PSE thentherein probably lies the prblem.
As Allan Jones said, it 's probably worth your while to purchase your own copy.

That was hard for us to guess, from your post It might have helped to mention the iPad.
How are you trying to save the song to your PC? Are you sending the song to iTunes? If yes, as a project or as an audio file? Make sure, you select "AAC" and not "GarageBand", when you share the song from your iPad.

I've just bought an album and downloaded it,went to sync it to my ipod shuffle and it doesn't appear in the album list to sync, yet it is in the music library? why is it not available to sync?
This sounds similar to the problem where new purchases will appear in playlists, but not the main music source, suggesting that iTunes is making a hash of the indexes. Somewhat bizarrely the solution for that one seems to be to download the current free Single of the Week, maybe it will help you too.

i brought a iphone 5c from ebay, when i recieve the i item its loked with i cloud, and also had a tmobile sim card in the slot...now i cant access the phone because its locked with i cloud,i do not have the owner details to contrac him....but i called to tmobile, they said this phone is not a stolen one,,thet told me to contrac apple.....is apple can unlock the icloud?
Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off. -
I found an iphone over one year ago. Its locked with a passcode. I kept waiting for the owner to call it. They never did. I went to an AT&T store today, they put a new sim card in it. and told me to go home, log on to itunes, and restore the phone to "factory settings".But itunes says the phone is locked and it needs the passcode to reset it to factory settings.
Any workaround? Or, am I doing something wrong here?

JoeSounds like you may be the owner of a new phone! If you don't need or want it and no one claims it you probably can sell it. Check eBay to see what the going rate is.

You can restore the iPhone from backup on the last computer your iPhone synced with, this will allow you to reset the passcode http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414. If you do not have access to the last computer the phone synced with, you will have to force the phone into recovery mode & restore as a new device, all data on the phone will be erased http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808.
