You can have one icloud account and a different itunes account on the phone. I have my icloud account and a shared itunes account. He does not have to use the new icloud account as is ID in itunes and app store. He can keep using the old one.

I have Windows Vista computer. I am trying to upgrade my ITunes so can share files with other home computer. (Just got the new IPhone). Tries system restore and redownloaded...NOW Itunes will not even open. Can anyone help?
I uninstalled Apple Application Support, opened iTunesSetup with WinRar, and went down the list of msi's. AppleApplicationSupport was an install, all the others I did Repair. Did not have to reboot. Works okay now.

You would need to buy a new operating system (Snow leopard 10.6.x, or higher).
Before doing that, it would be best to check to see if your Mac can run the higher operating system.
Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac", then "More Info..." Copy and paste the information into a reply here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present). -

You should be able to see two different tabs when setting up the email if you go to Other > Add Mail Account. Once you enter in the email address and password, you should be at the next screen to provide more details about the email as far as incoming and outgoing servers and at the top there will be a blue section to add it in as a POP or IMAP email account. Do your contacts exist individually elsewhere? If not, you're stuck. If you have the contacts elsewhere (email, Outlook, FaceBook), one of you can turn off your iCloud contacts and elect to remove them from the iPhone. Your partner needs to do the same so that the list of combined contacts ceases to exist. Have your partner dlete the current account (from the iPhone) and then generate a separate iCloud account. After that, you can each restore contacts from individual sources.

If you have an existing ID, but no credit card to associate with your account, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a NEW ID by following the directions here:

No, ON means "active". If you switch for example iTunes to "OFF" the icon will not be visible anymore. If app installation is switched to off, your app pane in iTunes will be greyed out.
Are you using the same account as when you bought the apps? Did you check the account info in Settings/Store/AppleID ?
