You might have swiped it into another icon by error if you were moving things around. You can find these easily as they have a black background.
Also, to see if you rae running an active Safari, double click on your bottom button and all of the active applicatiosn will come up. You can scroll through these to see if Safari is running (and not lost).

Hi. I have just started using Adobe Photo Elements 11 and Adobe Premiere Elements 11. I have many pictures in my photo gallery that I would like to use in a project that I am working on. BNN, even though I understand what KT is saying, your thought resonates with mine. When it comes to building and maintaining my website, I see myself more as a photographer than as a web designer. Hence, even though Apple may not be actively developing (and we are guessing on this one, arent we) iWeb, the existing functionality should do plenty of good to me for next couple years at least.
That said, they released a point update a few days back and with the whole cloud thing building momentum and mobile me going for free, why would Apple want to pull the plug on such a fantastic product? -

I backed up my iPhone to the Cloud a few weeks ago and then deleted a video from my iPhone. I have since backed up my iPhone again....will my video still be in the iCloud? Does the iCloud when restoring, overwrite existing data on my phone?
If the latest backup does not include the video, then it won't be restored if you restore from that backup. Technically, there should be around 3 backups maintained in icloud, but many users find that they have one one choice to make (the latest backup) when they perform a restore from icloud.
Like photos, video should always be synced to a computer for archiving. If you've done that, then you should be able to find it on your computer. -

Will recent iCloud backup delete the previous backup
iCloud will keep your last 3 backups. The first time you back up, it does a complete backup (and takes some time to complete). Your subsequent backups back up changed files since the previous backup, and take much less time to finish.

I aquired my used MacBook Pro when entering college three years ago. When the IOS 7 iphone update came out yesterday I updated my iphone. After the update I attempted to sync my iphone to itunes on my MacBook Pro. When attempting to do this I recieved a pop-up that stated I would not be able to sync my iphone with IOS 7 to itunes until I downloaded itunes version 11.
I then visited the itunes site to download this version of itunes. When attempting the update, I recived a pop-up that stated I was unable to download this version of itunes because my MacBook Pro does not have IOS 6 installed.
I am not sure how to install IOS 6 or if my computer is able to update to IOS 6 since it was made in 2007. I occasionally have difficulties updating other programs because my computer is outdated and I was wondering if IOS 6 is the same.
Thanks for your help.It sounds like it is not allowing you to install the newest version of iTunes because you do not have OSX 10.6.8 installed. Click on the -> About This Mac and check the version number. If it is anything less than 10.6 you need to purchase Snow Leopard from Apple.

I understand that you have an album in your iTunes library that you would like to delete but you are curious if it would remain on your account. If the album was purchased from iTunes, as long as the content is still available in the iTunes Store, you can re-download that content at no cost. I have just started using iPhone 4s and cannot find how to delete photos. Have used iPhone 3 GS for last 2 years and not had this problem. I have iCloud for my Apple family and don't know if this is causing problem. Help please.
Log in to icloud.com with your Apple ID. Once you're logged in, click on your name on the upper right corner. Click Advanced and then Reset Photo Stream. This will delete all your photos in the album Photo Stream in your iPhone 4S so make sure you have backed up (copy to Camera Roll or new folder) all those that you want to keep.
This is the only way to do it with iOS 5 (not the beta releases)

I started using icloud a few months ago- I now find I have music on my iphone that my daughter purchased last year- I can't get it off as it does not appear on my Library on my pc. Any ideas- other than banning daughter from my account!
Add all the songs you want to burn the playlist onto the disk.

A lot of my songs, once put on the iCloud, will not download to my iPod. They are in my iTunes library, already downloaded, but will not appear in my library on my iPod. There is no common thread for the origin of the songs--many were ripped from CD's, others purchased in the iTunes store. Before I started using iCloud, all music in my iTunes library was on my iPod without any issues.
- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck
If they are still available and listed in your Puchase History then contact iTunes

I just upgraded to iOS7 and started using icloud with Outlook 2010. I dealt with switching over to only using icloud for my calendar, but now my calendar reminders are only randomly popping up which is very frustrating. They show up on my phone however. And under my calendar on my main page it doesn't show any appointments coming up. Any suggestions on a fix?

Looks like we found a solution, it's Mickey Mouse but it works. After talking to two Apple Senior Advisors, this is the fix they came up with:
The first advisor after exploring it for awhile, came to the conclusion the way to get my calendars back local On my Mac with the alerts as I had then was to import the saved .ics files with my my 'dangerous email alerts' being removed then me manually re-adding them. I said that was a no go.
The second advisor, after speaking with me for awhile and trying a few things that we'd tried before said he'd do some work on his end and call me back. A couple of hours later he phoned back with a fix that I guess will have to do, his solution:
I had to go into Calendar-preferencs-accounts and create a Gmail calendar, quit and restart Calendar, I created a calendar in the gMail account. Then I was given the option in Calendar under File-New Calendar to create On my Mac local calendars. Next was to create local calendars with the same names as my iCloud calendars. Now I had to un-check all calendars but one, put Calendar in month view, command-click all the events for the given calendar and drag them to the new local calendar of the same name. I then had to repeat this for each of the calendars and for all 12 months of the year.
I'm not done yet but it seems to be working. As I said Mickey Mouse but doing the job. It seems creating another online calendar account was the only way to get the local On my Mac option, active again. What a pain in the a** this has been, I will repeat it again

I just started using Safari, using Safari 5.1 on Win XP. Any place where there used to be a check box, there's now a little button with a triangle on it. The triangle changes orientation as I move the mouse cursor around, but there is no visible change if I click on it. Yet it appears that I must click on it to check, or uncheck, the box; I just can't tell whether it's checked. If I can't get this to work better, I'll have to give up on Safari. Please help. (Note: there's one at the head of this thing saying "Mark this discussion as a Question - this encourages people to answer for points and helps you track answers." I clicked on it, but don't know whether it's checked or not. That's a fairly minor example.)
Can you provide an SSCCE that demonstrates this behavior?

hello scarsman, i think by default all bookmarks are sorted by their creation date - however you can right-click each folder and choose to sort all currently available entries by name. in the bookmark library you can click on any column (name, tag, last visit date, visit count, date added, etc...) to sort them as you want...
