I accidentally purchased a $20 icloud storage upgrade for my iphone. Unable to find any way to cancel this order on my phone or online, I was left with no option but to call Apple. The first 20 minutes of the conversation with Ayesha in retail has required my phone serial number, my apple id, my apple security questions, my Visa expiry date, my visa number.... with multiple request that I stay on hold. I asked for an incident number for my call so I would have a record of the call in case the return did not go through. No incident number was provided by Ayesha. I was then put on hold and transferred to Andrew who then transferred me to Monica. Monica in icloud dept asked me to give all the same information over again because she said there was no record of my security verification. Forty minutes in total for a $20 refund! It would be easier to drive to a store and return a shirt! The inefficiency cost is enormous to both Apple and myself. Profit margin must be HUGE for Apple to offer such poor service and still stay in business.

I just bought the new MacBook Air a few days ago and my Internet connection is so slow. My iPhone's connection works fine when connected to the wifi but the MacBook connects for a few seconds then drops completely. What do I do? I tried connecting it to my phone's hotspot and it works perfectly. I'm a new Mac user so I have no idea what to do. I have Comcast xfinity cable and Internet. Thanks for the help.

You can cancel an iCloud storage upgrade but only within 15 days of buying:
Apple seem to have made this as difficult as possible. You may be able to do this using http://expresslane.apple.com - click 'See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'iCloud', 'Account and setup' then 'This topic is not listed'. Explain the situation in the box provided and wait for a response - include a phone number. However you may find you cannot proceed without entering a hardware serial number which is still eligible for AppleCare.
In that event you will need to phone them directly, using the Apple Online Store number given at the bottom of this page. The first person you speak to may tell you to do it from the iCloud website but this is not possible. Politely insist on escalating the issue to a more senior person and eventually you should be able to get through to someone who can deal with this (you may have to wait for them to call you back) - you will be asked security questions and for part of your credit card number to identify yourself. -

Here is my file. Seems to be corrupted. No Auto Save was made eventhough AE is configured to save one. Seemed to happen in the middle of things, while I was switching between Premiere CC 2014 and After Effects CC 2014 (Dynamic Linking). Was working perfectly fine until randomly the program crashed and Dynamic Link in Premiere lost access to the upwards of FIFTY COMPOSITIONS I had worked on.

I never do anything without saving files in versions about every 10 to 20 minutes. If your files are getting corrupted every time you save them then you got to analyze your project and figure out what you are doing that is causing the corruption. Work for 10 or 15 minutes, save the file, open the file, save it as a different version then start again when you're having problems. Here's the most important part of business advice I can give you. As soon as you have any indication that there may be something wrong, contact your client. Don't make excuses, don't blame the software, take full responsibility and just explain that you need more time or something in the project needs to change. I have never had a client refuse to give me some leeway or refuse to make adjustments to the project that would allow it to be completed on time.

Are they going to replace it with a new one ?Most likely yes. There's a manufacturers warranty against defects for a year. I'd contact your place of purchase and talk to them about it.
