I just wanted to download a movie but it keeps telling me Error 8008. How can I go on?

I just bought a movie on iTunes and it loads for a time and then it tells me that this file might be broken and that the Errornumber is 8008. I tried to do every step that iTunes told me to do to sove this problem but it still does not load. How can I go on now?

and if it's not set to the UK, change it and try the download again.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

With the kernel panic your Mac is suffering I would suggest that once you get the DVD for your Mac that you boot with the first one in the set in your Mac with the D key depressed. This will start AHT. It will test your hardware. Kernel panic are generally caused by hardware problems.

5GB is typically not enough space to download a movie. Often, movies take from 3 - 5 GB to begin with. The only option you have is to delete more things from your iPad. You can remove unused Apps, pictures, music, text message (messages with pictures can take up a lot of space), email messages, books, magazines etc.

Did you sync the film from your computer to your iPad and/or iPhone, or did you download separate copies on one or both of them ?
If the former then depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the film from your iTunes library and redownload it by clicking on your account name at the top right of the iTunes screen and clicking ‘Purchased’ on the popup.
