I lost my music but still have my old playlist, is there a way to see what songs were on that playlist?

Pretty confusing but here we go.
My old mac hard drive died taking the music with it. I have a very special playlist made from that music but I don't remember what tracks were on it. The playlist still exists on my iphone and as I re-add songs to my computer, then to my phone they go right the old playlist on my phone so I know there is a memory of these tracks SOMEWHERE, I just need to figure it out. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

If they are the same nef files that you were importing into your PC, see if the reason is an error message like the thread above this one. Permissions issue.

If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then transfer purchases form your ipod.
Without syncing, click File>Transfer Purchases

there's no way for you to identify which machines have or had cs3 activated, and you can no longer purchase a cs3 license from adobe.
you can request an activation count reset (Contact Customer Care) and deactivate your cs3 on all your computers. you can then install and activate on up to two computers.

You can re-download from iTunes.
Go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Go through all the tabs to download again for free

You don't have iCloud set up? There would be a backup there if you enabled it.

Apps won't open after IOS5. Re-synced but still won't open. Is there a way to delete them and then reload them again?

I had no problem in downloading a free app after updating to IOS5. I thought everything was o.k. but when I tried to launch an app, it just blinked and nothing happens. I had a notification before updating to IOS5 that I should back up my app purchases. All of the apps I had were free so I ignored it. Well, that appears to be my problem. Now, my Ipad shows the apps but they don't work. Is there a way to delete them so that I could reload them again?

Did you try syncing with iTunes again since you update the software? You could try that first. connect the iPad to your computer and sync again - not WiFi sync - traditional, old fashioned sync. You will have to turn off WiFi sync in iTunes and then hit the apply button.
Or you could try these basic troubleshooting steps.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Syncing music but still have to download from the cloud?

I have purchased and downloaded music to my macbook. After syncing my computer and iphone via usb, the songs show up on my phone as in the cloud. Is there anyway to add/sync these songs to my iphone without having to download from the cloud? I have very spotty Wi-Fi (songs can't download) and I don't want to use cellular data.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I lost my laptop but still have my synced phone. how do i get the new laptop to sync? i cant find any options on the phone to display the recovery key

the faq says to click options and tgen click sync option. i have a moto atrix and it seems it doesnt have those options, i can see that its currently synced but there are no options for recovery or add a device. i have passwords stored in sync that i do not know, is there some way to recover these from another pc? or maybe get a recovery code emailed to me?

Have a current account with zero balance...but still have my old phone...could I reactivate the old one?

Here's the deal...I have a current prepaid VZW account, but ran out of balance on it (exactly zero), but don't yet have the $$$ to refill it to make it active again. I have an old phone (same basic phone, except for older version) that is only about a year-and-a-half old. I was going to donate it to a charity or something like that, but I forgot all about it. I did the phone swap from it to my current phone a while back as well. If I reactivate the old phone, would I get the $10 bonus with a new number, and be able to use it as a temporary backup-type of phone ? Would VZW have a problem with that? It would only be a temporary situation, and would give me 60 days to try to refill the current phone. I would like to have an alternate number to use as a job contact number, and have no other number to use. Can I have two different online My Verizon accounts with the same name, address, etc. with two different phones with different numbers?
