I'm having problems with my spry menu in firefox and ie

The menu in firefox shows the menu for the board of directors correctly on the right side while in IE9 it shows on the left side. Is there a fix for this or do I have to live with it?

ok for facetime and imessage go into settings turn them off make sure to make an icloud backup and then go to settings general erase all content and settings and then set it up from the backup it should activate your imessage and facetime

Problems with Vertical Spry menu bar in Internet Explora

Hi I'm new to Dreamweaver,
I having trouble with a new site I'm making in CS4. A problem with a vertical menu bar, in IE. Can anyone help?
1. The text is left aligned and should be centered.
2. The menu bar has moved left
3. My paragraph text has moved up the page and aligned itself to the to the menu bar.

Sorry, but your CSS is has been mangled beyound recognition.
The solution is to start with an untouched style sheet. Then add or modify the CSS testing in your browsers as you make the changes.
Have a look at the following where I have positioned the menu. All that is now required is the styling for font and the hover event.

IE problems with vertical spry menu bar

first of all: I'm aware that this problem has been discussed
before. but nothing I've found so far has really helped me.
the problem is that my vertical spry menu bar doesn't work
properly with the internet explorer. I've (clumsily) repositioned
the submenu bars, but that didn't seem to be the main problem.
I'm using dreamweaver cs3 on a mac and have checked for
safari and firefox, in which everything works fine. I'd be very
grateful if someone could have a look at

Is anybody else having problems with itunes (10.6.3.25) and ipod touch (5.1.1)?

Lately I've been having a ton of problems with iTunes and my iPod Touch (4th generation). Lots of error messages such as can't connect to itunes store, incompatible application, ipod detected but not identifiable, invalid response received from device, unknown errors [mostly (0xE8000001)], problem with audio configuration, etc. I've done everything I could think of. Uninstalling iTunes (with all the components) then reinstalling with the newest version (10.6.3.25), running diagnostics and such. If it does appear (about 2% of the time) then iTunes freezes and/or it won't sync. I also try to change some info (song title, artist, artwork, etc)(when it DOES come up) and it shows up on itunes but not on my ipod. My ipod appears on my computer but not in iTunes under devices like its supposed to. I've been to all the support threads I can possibly find and NOTHING has helped. I also had the latest version for the ipod touch (5.1.1). And I've never had any issues with iTunes or my iPod touch before. I know I should probably try restoring my ipod but I absolutely do not want to do that unless I have to because i have a lot of music, apps, movies, etc I'm not able to back up. Also, I'm using a Windows 7 computer. Please Please help if you can, I am frustrated because I can't do anything.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

Is Anyone Having Problems with the newer version of Firefox?

I still have my older Mac OsXv10.4 Tiger software. I wasn't exactly happy with Safari browser as it would block many sites and were considered incompatible so I downloaded the free Firefox browser (the 2.0 version) of which I STILL have. I'm aware that there is a much newer version and would like to download that, but I've heard a lot of people saying they have been having severe problems with it, but then they have PCs and not Macs.
So my question is for you Mac users that use Firefox, have you had major problems with the newer version? I'm real hesitant to download if I'm going to have the same problem PC users are having...like constantly crashing. Also would my old Tiger software be compatible? I don't want to upgrade to Leopard.

I also have had similar, but not as bad, problems with Safari 4. I never had these problems with Safari 2 or Firefox 2. It just seems that with each update, the problems increased for me. I have read the Safari and Firefox forums and tried many fixes with little improvement. I have come to the conclusion that there is some kind of compatibility problem between the latest versions of Safari and Firefox and Shockwave Flash and/or Javascript and OS 10.4, particularly on PPC Macs. I expect there are many who will disagree and I cannot argue or prove the point. This is just my opinion. And I recognize that my problems could be caused by my setup and not by the browsers. By the way, I do not use any add-ons with any of my browsers. Anyway, I got tired of dealing with it and installed the latest version of Camino about 2 weeks ago. I also did a clean install of Firefox 3.0.13. Camino is working out great for me. It is simple and it works. No problems at all. So currently I am using Camino as my primary browser and Firefox 3.0.13 as my backup. I hope this helps.

I have been having problems with YouTube functionality when using Firefox, some of them having begun with the latest Firefox update

After a fairly recent update, I began having the option to paste text disappear, I've had backspace cause the browser to go back to the previous page while in a text box, and other issues which are apparently a matter of Firefox not recognizing the fact that I am typing in a text box.
After the last update, suddenly YouTube video page URL links no longer translate into links containing the title of the video, and also things like the use of bookend asterisks in order to have text appear in bold typeface no longer work.

i have the same problem with the above..firefox is running too slow with the games in facebook..but it runs good when browsing my updates, msgs, photos...firefox is totally opposite of IE..IE is faster with the games and slow while browsing..i love to use mozila but when i do games it really pisses me off...hope you could help me..

I updated the ITunes on the computer and that went ok, but when i went to go and update the IPhone 4 it went to restore it to the factory settings and then something happened where it wouldn't let it update and now the phone is stuck in Limbo world with the apple symbol showing and a status bar, but nothing else. also the phone is not showing up as being plugged in while in this limbo faze.

Problem with Horizontal Spry Menu

Hi,
I have trawled through the forum to see if I can find an answer to my problem, but couldnt locate one, so this is my first post.
I recently built this website for my wifes business and was using a simple menu bar without any dropdowns, just to get the site up and running (healingthreads.com.au). Am now looking to do some enhancements and was looking to use a Spry Horizontal Menu Bar. All was going well in that I was able to insert the menu bar and get it in the right position, however the dropdowns below the top level items (ie. Item 1.1, Item 1.2 etc) are getting hidden behind one of the other DIV's and despite trying changing z-index values, am still not able to get the dropdowns to display in front of the main DIV. Have run out of ideas and am hoping the wisdom of the forum will be able to assist. I have the same problem on the Index page as well as the other pages on the site. The website is fairly basic at the moment and is simply promoting her courses and products.
Unfortunately am not able to post live code to a server for you to test on, so best that I can do is post the code for a page and for the CSS sheets. I have left the standard Spry code in place in the source code to show that the problem exists without and fancy changes that I have made to the Spry code. I have also removed the z-index properties that I had been playing around with. So, what I am attaching is the basic code that has the problem.

Re your response. When I preview the page in both Safari and Firefox, the dropdowns are not visible, just the top layer Items.

When I try to insert any of the spry widgets, I get the HTML code for the widget but none of the javascript or css code and I cannot figure out why. Also, The Spryassets folder never get created. Is there anyone that help me figure out what I might be doing wrong. If all you got is "Spry is no good, use Javascript", then don't bother responding. All other useful suggestions are greatly appreaciated,

I'm having problems with the tool menu dropdowns in Flash.

When I hold down the mouse button and slide my cursor over the dropdowns, they dissappear before I can select. This function works fine in other Adobe softward and I have done the most recent updates for the software which is CS5.0.

I having problems with it switching on my macbook and then it automatically switches off

i have had Yosemite for a while and it was working perfectly, and the suddenly is froze and automatically shut down. I tried rebooting it it would come up with the apple logo and a loading bar e=underneath and when it loads the bar fills in with grew but a quarter from the start it it shut downs again. t is not reopening how do i fix my problem? help!!!!

Try booting into Safe Mode. If that is successful, but then a normal reboot fails, you may have some third-party software installed that is preventing boot up. If you have any ideas what it might be, we can help you uninstall it.

The other thing to try is boot into Recovery and use Disk Utility to repair the drive:

Finally, you can try just reinstalling the OS using Recovery. It won't erase any of your data, but you should still have a backup.

It sounds like an app you installed is not functioning correctly. I recommend starting with these steps from the article named:

Restart the app
Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
Update your device software and your apps
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
Update your apps:

If asked, enter your Apple ID password. The updates will download and install.
You might need a Wi-Fi connection to update some apps.

I am having problems with downloading files, what is wrong and what can I do?

When I try to download a file (ex: file from mediafire) when it gets the windows that lets me choose where to save the file, the window closes and FF automatically downloads the file to a certain place...(last place file was save too)
