I'm having serious trouble syncing my 4s with iTunes now that I have iOS7
So... I've tried most suggestions I've come across in these forums, a hard reboot of the phone, turning Itunes on and off, changing cables, restarting the computer, without success. I tried adding music to the device in the left hand panel, but that doesn't work either. frustrating to have a broken phone. And the last time it was able to to an icloud backup was on 9/17... not sure if that's related.
The only thing I haven't tried is a complete re-install, and I'm very reluctant to lose all my data since I have no backup.
Any help would be appreciated. Hope there are one or two programmers at Apple still working on 4s bugs.

Well, I have it turned on, if that's what you mean. On both the phone and the computer (when phone is hooked up) I have the message that the last time I synced was 9/17/13. Every once in a while, while charging the phone overnight, with wireless on, I get a message saying that in order for iCloud backup to work the phone must be plugged in and connected to a wireless network. Apparently there is a failure to communicate with the mother ship, despite my following instructions.
My suspicion is that this failure is related to the failure to sync with iTunes, but I'm just guessing.

Trouble syncing iPhone 4s with iTunes (sync won't start)
When I plug my iPhone 4s into my computer, both my computer and iTunes recognize it and nothing seems out of the ordinary until I try and sync the phone with iTunes. After pushing the sync button, the top of itunes says "Syncing iPhone (step 1 of 7)", and under that "waiting for sync to start", but after a minute or so a pop up box appears that says the sync could not be completed because it failed to start. I've tried all my USB ports, multiple cables, both my phone and itunes are completely up to date. Any idea what could cause this problem?
Is 10.6.6 the current 10.6 version?
If not, update to the current version.

Update to the latest version of iTunes and Install software updates on your Mac.
If no change after that, try reinstalling the Apple Mobile Device Service.

I can't sync iPod classic with iTunes Match since I have updated to iTunes 11
When I open iTunes (11) and connect my iPod (classic) it does not recognise the device. I am using iTunes Match. My question is how do I transfer the music from PC to my iPod? I just bought a new PC and thought getting Match would be useful and save time transferring from my old PC. It was fine to begin with until the iTunes 11 update.

Probably the former.
FYI it is only iOS devices that cannot be synced via USB with iTunes Match enabled. -
I have upgraded my ipad2 to the latest ios. shortly after this message came up: "ipad is disabled, connect to itunes". I have never synced my ipad2 to itunes and don't have any backup. Is there any way to bypass this without restoring the device? I have many articles on "iAnnotate" that can not afford to loose.
You can't bypass it, you will need to connect iPad to a computer's iTunes, and you may need to put it into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad, which will remove all content from it.
You haven't been backing up to the cloud either, and/or keeping copies of important documents/files elsewhere e.g. on your email account, Dropbox etc ? -

I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes ... I've restarted my ipod nano a few times ... for some reason, itunes is not syncing with the ipod ... and when I eject the ipod from the computer, it resets itself ... I don't know what to do ...

You need to do as provided. If no change after restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.

How are you trying to do it ? If you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you may want to enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S if you are using a Mac, control-S if using a PC.
To sync books, connect the phone to your computer and select it on that left-hand sidebar, and on the right-hand side of iTunes select the Books tab :
You should then be able to select which books/PDFs that you want to sync to the iBooks app (and/or which audiobooks to sync to the Music app).

I am having trouble syncing my iPhone5 with my PC computer. It is only syncing and transferring 50 contacts were as I have over 350 contacts. I have followed the step by step procedure with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve otherwise I will have manually load each number individually please help.

I am having great diffivulty in 'sync' my IPOD4 with my PC. I have purchased some new music with my PC and I am trying to 'SYNC' the IPOD with it so that they can both have the same music on each. I used to be able to 'sync' from my PC I TUNES menu but the 'SYNC' in the file menu is greyed out so I am unable to use it. Please help me.

each time i try syncing my ipod with itunes, it freezes itunes and i end up having to shut down my computer. This started happening after the latest download and my latest purchase. The latest purchase doesn't show up on my iPod and itunes freezes at synching step 2 on 2. Any suggestions?
You should Reset your iPod, by
1. Press Menu and Center button simultaneously for about 10 Secs till the Apple Logo comes ON.
2. Disconnect the sync cable.
3. Check the iPod Welcome screen, select language, go to menu (if you are lucky, your music are still on the iPod.)
if your iPod doesn't show the Welcome screen, bring it to Apple Store.
If the above is okay, (can see Menu but no Music)
4. Close iTunes and Reboot your PC.
5. Start iTunes
6. Connect the iPod to the Sync cable.
7. if iTunes ask to Restore, please do so.
8. Sync your iPod. ( I would advise you to disconnect from Internet and stop the Antivirus program when doing this.)

Without knowing exactly what your issue is (more details would be helpful) - try this - quit iTunes, restart your computer and the iPad and then try again.
If that doesn't work - it is just a first step type of thing - report back and explain exactly what you are experiencing when you attempt to sync. -

Before connecting your device to iTunes to sync, double-click the Home button, and close all open apps by sliding up on the thumbnails until all open apps are closed. Then try the sync again.
