there's a particular video that i want saved as a document so i can view easily when I'm ready without visiting the website & searching 4 it or bookmarking it & risk my daughter viewing the video. thanks in advance I love Firefox!

Unfortunately iWeb cannot read or import previously published files, only generate them. You'll have to recreate your site from scratch.
However, Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the recreation of the site.

Thanks Alex, but sadly I already tried that. Neither .docx or .xlsx files show up in the content list. They both show as a Chrome HTML document so changing how Firefox addresses those doesn't help since it thinks its the same type of file. I don't think I can manually add files into the "Content Type" left side nav.

pdfs to printer and it keeps coming back as "low resolution" 200pi, I have been changing the settings in Preferences at both Printer and at Quark levels, but keeps coming out too low res, what am I doing wrong?
Help required asap as I have spent three days on this pdf document and it is getting very frustrating

Are you Exporting Layout to PDF or Printing to PDF writer?
I have found in the past that printing a pdf gives better control and results. In the print dialog select Properties and make sure you have High Quality Print selected.

i tried adding user macintosh hd/users/your_user/pictures/"photo booth" but still photo booth is not working and even images in photo booth cant be deleted they keep coming back

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. Save it on the internal HD then copy it from this safe location to the external device.
iWork applications can't apply their save process on devices which aren't formatted as HFS+.
But it may also be that for some reason, an external device formatted as HFS+ is set to Read Only.
If it's this case, you will have to change de setting before moving the file on it.

If the iPhone is still working and the photos are in the Camera Roll (i.e., taken on the iPhone) then, when you connect the iPhone to your PC, it should be recognized as a Camera and Windows should start AutoPlay.

When trying to save a page, I can enter file name etc, but don't see the SAVE button to click SAVE. It's like it's below the screen or something. How do I fix this?

I was in a webpage and was trying to save it. I selected SAVE AS from the drop down menu. Then I entered the file name, and selected TEXT ONLY as file type. Only thing left to do was click SAVE, but there was no SAVE button.

You can check it DTA or another extension isn't causing this problem.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

Trying to print one page of a document in duplex - help!

I've done a fair bit of work generating postscript from an OpenVMS COBOL system in the past, and while not an expert, have usually managed to produce something that works. This time I'm failing. Can anyone assist.
The problem: I have a document which has to print from 2 trays.
Tray 1: (Headed paper with blank background)
Tray 2: (Special paper with writing on the back)
Up to now it has been a simple simplex job, printing one page on headed paper and then page 2 (and more) on the special paper

You need to alter the page orientations independent of the duplexing/tumble commands. you may be able to do this in setpage or setpagedevice, if not then reorient the specific pages using "moveto" and "rotate" PostScript commands within your pages.

If any of the music files didn't come from Apple, then you will need to seek the advice of another Mac website, like MacRumors or Apple Insider, to inquire about the latest third party software that can place ALL the files back onto the Mac.
Supposedly there is a way to reverse only iTunes purchased music back onto a Mac, it excludes the music from other sources.
