I Need Help Adjusting Command Prompt Directories

I have the satellite L505D---S5983 and I need to change my prompt from C:\Users\Brandon>. I have tried every search I can think of but nothing is working for me. Please help. I need this to be fixed ASAP, I am a app developer for android and I need to get back up and running.

I need to change my prompt from C:\Users\Brandon>.
Brandon, make a shortcut to cmd (%systemroot%\system32\cmd.exe) and name it Command Prompt.
Right-click the shortcut, click Properties, and put the folder you want (c:\, for instance) in the Start in: field on the Shortcut tab.
I find it's a good idea to open command prompts in elevated mode. To do that, click the Advanced button on the same tab and set Run as administrator.

I have been told to use the Convert to convert a string to a double. I'm ok for writing the class method but I have no idea how to use Convert and why I need it in the method.

I need it in the method. Do you understand you need to somehow convert each String to a double (step 2.1)? Since Convert is unknown to me, maybe you should just take a look at class Double. It can help you do step 2.1, the rest should be trivial enough.

Need help with command - trying to target selected html in document

I am very new to working with JS. I can do simple stuff but when it comes to manipulating the dom, I don't know very much. So, I am trying to develop this command for Dreamweaver that will find all occurances of an abbreviation. Ex. GOC (Government of Canada) and wrap the text with <abbr> tags that include the title attribute. I have been using the change case example on the web that details how to go about setting up a DW command.
My JS file looks like this:

In it's current state, it will do a replacement of FSWEP anywhere it shows up in the document. What I need it to do is only replace those occurances that are part of the selected HTML block and are part of a text node.
If there is anybody out there who can help me with this, I would really appreciate any assistance you might provide. At a very minimum, could you point me to some helpful resources that will help me figure out how to target chuncks of code in a DW HTML file.

Need help in creating prompt for Month To Date Report.

Hi All I need to create a Month To Date Report using month(Start date & End date) as prompts, By default it has to run on the previous month data or if user selects his own range of dates then it has to bring the data for that range of dates ,one more thing is i am not showing the month and date columns on the report.Can any one help me how to create prompt for this in DeskI XIR2

Could you clarify some things? You are saying you are trying to transform the xml output of a webservice with an xsd, but an xsd is a schema that describes the allowed format of a xml file. If you want to transform xml from one format to an other (from one xsd to an other) you have to use a xsl file. You can make and test this with JDeveloper. Are you calling the webservice from esb or bpel?

Need help adjusting colors in Photoshop (CS2)

I'm not a neither a novice nor a pro when it comes to Photoshop. (Just somewhere in-between) . . . So don't understand why I''m suddenly having problems with colors in my photos looking accurate on my canera, but almsot completely red and yellow in Photoshop. Initially though the camera was at fault, until I switched cameras and still had the same problem, so figured itmust be Photoshop.
Since Photoshop CS2 has all the features I need, I've never bothered to upgrade. . . which turned out to be a problem when I tried to follow the instructions for creating new adjustment layers. (Was OK until I reached the last step, when my menus were different than those in the guide.) Have spent most of the last 2 days trying to manipulate all the options under the Image Adjustment menu, but am running our of patience and luck.
The problem seems to have been increasing in recent weeks (or months), but this is the first time I've been absolutely stumped and unable to come up with a usable solution.

But I just had a new thought on the problem. While reviewing a story I received from another website, I noticed that the photos attached to the article looked a lot like what I described in my message. It made me wonder if I have a software problem at all . . . or if it's the screen on my Mac that needs recalibration!
It only took 2 minutes to find a website that discussed it — with sample screens to help determine if that was what I'm dealing with. Since a screen supposedly showing a mix of numbered, grey boxes looked totally white to me and I could only see the white numbers on a screen that supposedly contained boxes in varying shades of black, I think I might be on the right track. Just not sure, since I had to reach the bottom of the page before spotting the pitch for a product that supposedly will recalibrate for me. I'm not sure I want to tackle recalibration on my own, but may call the Mac Geniuses at our local mall and see if my hunch is right . . .and if so, what they would charge to do it for me.
BTW, if it sounds like a calibration problem, do you think moving my computer from one desk top another (just 5 feet away) could have caused it? I'm not sure, since it wasn't on my mind at the time, but I think that's roughly when I first started to notice discrepancies in color.

Need help adjusting formula on time sheet

I am using this formula to show OT hours worked based off N21 being the total hours for the day. It needs to use the DUR2HOURS or it doesn't work properly.
=MAX(DUR2HOURS(N21)-8, 0)
I have another cell to calculate double over time, which is anything after 12 hours.
How can I adjust the above formula to show the OT hours but not the DOT hours?

Standard Pay...

OverTime...

Need help in designing prompts

Hi All,
I have three columns in dimension 1. is organization 2. asset 3. production .Organization has lot of assets which can be production or non production.If asset is production then production column will have Y otherwise N.My requirement is to have organization and asset in prompt but asset should be constrained to organization(depending on the org selected it should give list of assets) and assets displayed should be only which have value y in production column.I tried to design the prompt when I select all value for asset then only constrain option comes otherwise its not coming.If I select all value and constrain I am not able to filter the asset which have only Y in production column.Can someone please help.

I want to see only those Assests where Production_Equipment='Y' .With constrain I am not able to use sql results in show values.Is there a way to hide column in prompts?Then I can use Asset with constrain and also add production equipment column and add condition to this column.
Regarding the suggestion of adding teh condition to the reposrt itself this is not required becoz in dashbaord we have 2 tabs 1 production and 1 non production we wnaqt only produtcion assets to be shown in production tab and non production in non production tab

Hello, I am currently using Business Objects 5.1.3 to build reports using Excel as a data source. Recently, I had an error message and it shut down. When I started it back up, I noticed the Command Bar has disappeared: (top of page) FILE EDIT VIEW TOOLS DATA WINDOW HELP
I can't seem to get it back? When I right click in that area, I get "restore, close, minimize" options?
I have looked everywhere to find out if there is a keyboard shortcut that will make my command bar reappear. I do see the tool bar but no command bar.
Please help! Thank you!

Go to windows registry and delete the following link (its for 6.x version). Find similar link for version 5.x in your PC

Need help with re-prompting the user for input .

I am trying to wright a code the re prompts the user for input if they enter anything but an integer but I keep getting a "char cannot be dereferenced" error when I try to compile.
Here's what I have got:

Help please- need help adjusting logo before cutting out

hi all, im after a little help.
I had a logo created that all looks okay, until i opened it up in illstruatvoe adobe full version.
Some of the lettering over laps so when cutting on a vinyl plotter, it would all go wrong.
So i got the rubber out to try and sort it out although the rubbers too big to correct it.
What do yuo all recommend?

If under the File menu there isn't an import option and you cannot open
other file types, then you are just up a creek. If you can, then get the
AI file in a format that it can read. You may have to upgrade your Stika

Need help adjusting code which allows button activation

Hi,
the basis of my problem is this. I have inherited some code
which is a matrix of buttons which give a score of 1-7 depending on
which button is pressed. The matrix consist of 6 rows and 7 buttons
and once all rows have a button pressed the final score is
calculated and a submit button becomes activated (it is de-active
until all rows have a score). This works fine, but I have added a
function in which you can press a button which de-activates one row
and activated another, so there are now 8 rows instead of 7, even
though I want the total score to still calculate when there are 7
scores to tally up the total. The code I have now works with the
first 7 scores, but when you add the 8th row it won't tally up the
score, and activate the submit button. I am attaching the code I
currently have to do this. I think part of te problem, is that I
don't actually understand every bit of the code. I know what it
does, but not exactly how it is doing it :-).
Anyway attached is the current code I have:

any ideas on this? I also tried adding a zero button to the
de-activated rows, but this does not work either as a score of 1+
is needed to activate the function.

Need help adjusting audio pan on interview...

I have several interviews that have the mono mike on a1, and need that to be stereo mon... and silence a2 - camera mike.
The clips were brought into FCPx from FCP7.
I can open them in rimeline, and make adjustments; but when I go back to the main timeline, one side seems louder than the other... can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Any advise?

For some reason, that didn't work. I used the razor tool on the first portion of the clip, and then realized if I expanded it, it showed me the original shots from the timeline I started within FCP7.
This first portion is the one I can't get stero mono working... everything else sounds pretty good.

Need help adjusting audio on imported video and/or cpvc to cptx presentation

I inserted a video into my cptx presentation that I created using captivate but the audio was too low. I went back into the cpvc (captivate video demo recording) and increased the volume and republished it and imported it again. However the sound will not increase and is still low. Can someone help me figure out how to increase the volume within the cptx or how to make the cptx recognize the updated volume that was increased? Really running into brick walls on this one...
Appreciate any help that someone can provide.

Vista bootmgr compressed VISTA - need command prompt!

I am at wit's end and even though my 8 year old bought his HP G60 with his own money, I am about to hurl it out the window as I wasn't "consulted" and would not have condoned this unfamiliar to me Vista O/S.
All I wanted to do was reset the computer/system to factory defaults. He is gaming now a few years later with nothing important and seemed the quickest way to clean up the PC. I create recovery disks, a NICE LITTLE PROCESS that took 3 entire days. NO JOKE. I had to place every few hours COLD PACKS under and on it because this thing from day one runs hotter then heck.
So voila, it's done. And reboots. And I hope there is some other bored GEEK reading this because I can't find ONE POST on the entire Al Gore Internet that gets me to a command prompt without using install disks. This HP shipped with no install o/s disks. I created the recovery as a safety net, and it's starting over AGAIN and personally, I don't have 3 more days and hot pack maintenance in me before I just buy a new one. PLEASE HELP. It seems simple enough to get to a command prompt and uncompress something I never even intended to compress nor did in any keystroke of my imagination.

I would right click on 1.jpg. Select Open with... Select Choose default program... Pick Photoshop and make sure you check "always use the selected program to open this kind of file."
D:\1.jpg
Would then open photoshop.
