I need to change the input level and I can not open the track info pane in the new garageband. Can you help me?

I have tried the help menu. It only shows how to open the track info pane in the old garageband. It shows the info button, which is not in garageband anymore. I need to open the track info pane to change the input level. If there is another way to do this please tell me.

Open the "Smart Controls" for your track, and then press the Info button .
The "record level" slider is at the top of the Info panel below the track heads.

If you don't know the passcode but have synced with iTunes before while the passcode was set on it, you can back it up then restore it in iTunes on the last computer it was synced with.
If you haven't synced it while the passcode was set on it, or if you don't have access to the last computer it was synced with, you'll have to force it into recovery mode and restore it as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808. Then restore to an existing backup if you have one; if not, you'll have to restore it as a new iPhone and start over.

iOS 5.1.1 is the last version an iPad 1 can run. If you need to run iOS 6 or later, you'll need a newer iPad.

I am having problems being able to sign out of everything that requires a sign in and password can you help and some games only show have the page

That issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted. 
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

In System Preferences>iCloud: Sign Out, reboot and then Sign In with your ID and password.

Believe it or not, anything on the Desktop uses 3 times the Resources of the Mac than if stored elsewhere, I can note a slowdown from just 30 items on the Desktop on a really fast Mac, so the less the better on the Desktop.

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...

At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.

Sony pc companion back up and restore can you help please?

Right, I have a sony xperia U and I have spent 8 hours!! Yes 8 HOURS! trying to restore contacts and call logs etc,.on pc companion using the facilities of which I thought was trust worthy and reliable to use. Basically using PC Companion I backed up all I wanted onto my computer from my phone and it is not restoring back onto my phone. I am not getting any futher than clicking restore phone. Nothing. I have lost EVERYTHING. How can it be retrived?
Is there anything that I can download onto the computer that reads dbk files and I can retrieve my contacts at least. NOT ARMAK phoneminder- I have tried that.
Before anyone refers me to other threads on this site I have read them.I have tried repairing-installing-shutting down-NOTHING works. Even blaming my computer-firwall and anti virus off!!! And to be honest the explainations have not been entirely clear. And telling people that they should have used the back up app on their phone is not useful when people that have already used the Sony service and have failed. The problem has occured on this software and it's not working, could someone clearly and consise- a step by step- 1,2,3 list to help in resolving this reoccuring problem. Maybe I might actually mark the enquiry as solved!!! So it will not have to be asked again.

I know that this has been a long time coming for you but you're still fortunate as i already found the solution for your problem. I myself also experienced this problem when i tried to restore my backup files from my xperia ion to my new xperia z. Whenever i try to click migrate,i always a get a "sony pc companion not responding" prompt. What i did was i created a backup file from my new xperia z and since it was just new,the backup file came with a size of only 110mb. I then tried to restore it and again came up with another "sony pc companion not responding" prompt. I was so frustrated but instead of closing the program,i chose the "wait for the program to respond" option that windows asked. After several minutes,the selection for which files to restore came up. That moment i realized that the problem is that windows is stating that the sony pc companion is not responding which is actually false. It's just that when you're trying to restore a backup file that is too big in size,the program will take a long time to start the restoring process. After that,i attempted to once again restore the backup files from my xperia ion to my new xperia z which is quite big due to a large compilation of videos amounting to a total of 5.9GB. As expected,windows stated that the program is not responding but i decided to wait. It took around 10 minutes before the restoring process started. I was really after my important contacts that's why i never gave up till i finally solve this issue. I'm actually waiting for the restoring process to finish as i am typing this reply. Don't believe what mr. johan said that you're backup file may have gone corrupt,you just need to be patient. Always remember that perseverance is the key to success.

Need to recover old playlists, old iTunes library will not open because it was created by a newer version?

I have a Mac mini, have installed iTunes on it and want to find some old playlists that were lost. I have several 'iTunes Libraries' with different dates but I cannot open any of them becauseit says they were created with a newer version of iTunes. Please help!

Somewhere in your process you ended up with an earlier version of iTunes than was used last with the library. iTunes 10.6.3 is the highest version that will run under OSX 10.5.8

If you had an earlier version and still want that version I am not sure how to go about this. My iTunes library file does not say it was created with a particular version, although I admit I have not looked at the .xml copy to see if it is buried in the file itself. Apple only has a very limited number of iTunes versions openly posted, though you can still find just about any version if you look in the right places. You would have to kind of start low and work your way up to where you want to be since once you open a library with a version it cannot be reverted to an earlier version (make backups first).

I am trying to do something that is fairly easy in Excel, but I can't get it to work in Numbers. I am trying to use a function that will return a monthly fee in a spreadsheet if the month associated with that cell is equal to or greater than the inception date (absolute reference) and equal to or lesser than the end date. I can't get the function to work.
For example, if a fee starts in Sept 09 and runs for 3 consecutive months at, say, $100, the cells for Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec and Jan would read: 0,100,100,100,0,0
Can anyone help with this?
