I need to log into a remote Linux system using LabVIEW.
I can get in using the FTP protocal to get my data, but I need to execuite a shell command to start data processing. I have tryed Telnet but it wants to be interactive and I jest cant seem to mane it work Has anyone done this. (please note that this process will be done about 300 times during the process and I would like to automate it.

Some ideas:
1. Internet Toolkit from NI - as far as I remember, Telnet is included
2. Using TCP functions (and some documentation about Telnet protocol) you can implement it.
3. Use a Telnet application and try to send "commands" to it (there are available some VIs to communicate with other apps this way, especially for windows)
4. Try to implement a little server application (on your remote machine, capable of triggering those processes) and connect to it using TCP. You can find an example in Labview.
If one of these sounds interesting, I'll be happy to give you details.

If you are trying to connect to someone else's Mac (a family member, or friend), then you can use iChat (older versions of Mac OS X) or Messages to initiate Screen Sharing.

You could also use TeamViewer.com which is very good at connecting to a remote Mac (or Windows, as it is cross-platform) across the internet and navigating through home routers.

It can't be tracked with Find My iPhone if it wasn't enabled, and even if it was it can be tracked if it's turned off. All you can do is physically look for it.

Is it possible to configure EBS authentication that allows users to directly authenticate against the EBS database? I see some documentation/threads on this but it seems to be for setting up a link "within EBS" to use EBS credentials to log into OBIEE. Can I find the OS of a remote system using LabVIEW?
I wish to be able to start an application on a remote system using
LabVIEW. To do this, I need to know what the OS of the remote system is
(Windows, Linux, etc). I can ask the user to provide this information
for me, but is there any way I can get LabVIEW to automatically
retrieve this information? I know I can use the application node with
the OS sub-section to get this information for the local machine... is
there any way I can remotely run this? Would VI server allow me to run
this, if I turned it into a VI, on the remote system such that I could
retrieve this information for the remote system? Or is there a neater
solution I'm missing?

The problem with my case is there's any number of users on the network
that might be using this, and it could be running on a Windows or Linux
box, depending on user circumstances, so trying to get a VI Starter
type application put into the start-up of all machines just in case is
a) overkill & b) more than I want to bite off So basically I
need to have the VI running on the machine in order to use VI server is
what I'm hearing & reading from the help, which essentially my idea
of dynamically firing off labview & loading/running any VI on the
remote system just ain't possible... hmmmn.
Back to the drawing board then, it looks like...

I setup a Cisco Home Network and Need help Logging into It
Hello, I have four 2521 routers and three 2954 switches. I connected my ISPs modem from the ethernet port and plugged it into port 24 of one of my switches. I also configured the switch for VTY access and gave it a login password. I would like to log into the switch to configure it and telnet into all the other devices from a remote location. But I am unable to ping the public address assigned to me by my ISP. So I can't even telnet to the switch. Help
With help from elsewhere, I have learned how to change the colors and figured out a few other things. I have another question, though.
I want to put a Twitter widget and a comment box on my website. I have the widget code from Twitter, but it is HTML and javascript or something. Can I just put these codes into the modules of the flash template? If you look at the template, you should see that it has modules that have editable HTML text areas, but I don't know if it is limited to text or something, or if it will function correctly if I put other HTML codes in it such as script codes, etc in it.
Also, if that works, does anyone know where I can get a code to put the comment box in one of the modules? I don't mean a contact box, I mean a widget where people can leave comments and the comments display on the page, like on a myspace profile. Just something simple that allows a visitor to leave a name and a text-only comment. I would also like to be able to selectively delete comments in case of spammers, etc.

Need to log into portal usign a different User-Agent(SPS15 issue)

we are having an error trying to log portal. We have an application that logs into portal to get the MYSAPSO2 Cookie.
This applications have in the header the User-Agent "ExtApp".
Apparently due to changes in SPS15 the page builder becomes more restrictive on the range of browsers that can access portal.
We´d like to add our own User-Agent.
Any thoughts on how can this be done.

If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device -
My iphone App Store indicates that I need to update my Backup Assistant. I have tried about 30 times to log into my Apple account using every login I can think of and it continually tells me it is invalid or incorrect. I have changed my password/ID at least 20 times. What can I do?

For 1 1/2 years I had been able to log in to my work Remote Access site using Firefox, but I no longer can--it just sits there and does nothing. I have tried deleting the Firefox browser in case of corruption and reloaded from the Mozilla website, but that does not help. I prefer not to give the URL of my company website, but it is possible someone can help me. Might the problem be java, or something else?
