I own a used iPad and can't log in on some of my apps because the previous owner info shows up not mine
How do I fully remove the previous owner info. It blocks most of my log in apps, like google voice, etc...
Try deleting and reinstalling your apps that are playing up. But I would have to agree with above...in the end it's going to be better to start over as a new ipad. Using what someone else has left behind takes away what's great about making an apple product personal...

**** there,
If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

I recently bought a used iPod touch generation 5 and reset it (erased everything from it because the previous owner left a passcode on it) and I had to enter my language,wi-fi stuff, and then it said "Activate iPod" This iPod is currently linked to an Apple ID (c*****@k*****.net). Sign in with the Apple ID that was used to set up this iPod. The man who sold it to me said he bought it from another guy and sold it to me..So, I don't know what to do! I searched it up and it said you could go to iCloud and iTunes, but It's not working for me. Please help!!
A little more information:
You are running against the Activation Lock
iCloud: Find My iPhone Activation Lock in iOS 7
If you can't get this done
Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
you have a thin brick. I suspect your iPod was stolen or lost. I would turn it into the police since it is worthless to you if you can't get the previous owner to remove from their account -
Need help Changing the previous owners settings for the app store. I can't buy any apps. Because it asks for previous owners information.
I had this same problem, and it was erased.
For some really odd reason iPads sometimes retain the last user iTunes account on first visit to the iTunes store.
I am thinking it is actually the iTunes store recognising the iPad, and so 'helping' by showing the last log in settings.
So I would also recommend Erase All Content and Settings to start.
If that was done then what you need to do is log in, or create your own itunes account.
This is in Settings, Store.
create your own iTunes account (or log in with an old one).
Purchase something.
Then (as long as you don't have any app from the last owner on) it should never ask for the old account again. -
See above question for deleting previous owners acct. info, credit card info. As well as I can't get my iPad to update.
If the iPad is on IOS 7, you will need the previous owner's Apple ID and Password to:
1. Turn off Find My iPhone
2. Erase device
3. Reactivate device -
I cant activate my ipad cause i need the previous owners info what do i do because i cant get it
i bought an ipad of some person i met and it wont let me activate the account because its linked to the previous owners account ... i dont have any of that information so wat can i do
Consider it a lesson learned. The iPad was probably stolen and you got scammed. Never buy an iPad without starting the iPad, check Find My Phone, and ask the seller to turn it off before you accept the device.

I really want to order the refurbed Ipad 4 but I'm concerned that If I do I may get one that has the previous owners name engraved on it, now I heard that they put a whole new case on the ipads before they ship them bu I'm not sure if thats true or not?? So it it even a possibility that I could get one that someone previously engraved or something???
Hi,
You don't need to worry. They come with a new front and back cover, a brand new battery, and a full one year warranty, which includes 90 days of phone support. (And shipping was quick for us!)
We bought two last Summer and then one as a gift. They are great!
Hope this helps! -
I want to deauthorize an iPad and authorize it with a new Apple ID but I dont want to lose the apps that were purchased under the first Apple ID. Will this happen?
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
You won't lose the programmes, but you won't be able to update them as it will ask you for your old Apple ID to update -
For some apps the keyboard just cant show when i want to type the passcode, any solution? Or is this another flaw/bug?
RESET DEVICE
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost). -
Was it a mistake to buy a used iPad? Can I reset it?
I have a used iPad mini here, purchased for my daughter at what I thought was a great deal, but it's apparently disabled. Is this fixable like others have been able to restore factory conditions when they update to iOS 7? I maybe should mention my older daughter has an iPad 2 (also purchased used) that works perfectly so far as I can tell, operating ios7. We have never plugged it into our computer, so I don't think anything must be linked to itunes yet, except my Google account has synced via house wifi. Thanks for any advice.
If the iPad is showing the disabled screen then you should be able to reset it via a computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212
If it's on iOS 7 and it's still linked to the previous owner's account then when you reset it you may get a screen asking for the iCloud id and password - if you do then you will need to contact the previous owner and ask them to remove it from their account (he/she is the only person that can do it) : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515 -

I was given an ipad 2. How do I reconfigure it with my own settings, etc. and erase the previous owners informations?
But note, if the previous owner turned on Find My in iCloud and has not turned that off you will not be able to do anything with that iPad without the previous owner's Apple ID...there is an Activation Lock as part of iOS 7.0.4 that cannot be bypassed so you have to have that Apple ID and password if it has been turned on.

I bought a MBP last year around this time (2.4 GHz model, 4GB RAM). I have always wanted to install 64-bit Vista so I could use all of RAM (32-bit only recognizes only 2.98GB). Now to my knowledge, you can now install a 64-bit windows OS on a Mac Pro
